Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 30 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product quality, describing items as dry, bland, and of poor quality, with some noting misleading descriptions regarding ingredients like sourdough and meat content. Issues with orders were also common, including incorrect items, missing components, and food arriving cold or incomplete. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with the food, praising its taste and the generous portion sizes. Some customers also noted a friendly welcome and good coffee. However, some people mentioned significant delivery issues, with orders arriving late or being handled inefficiently by multiple drivers, leading to cold food and long waiting times.

What the hell happened

What the hell happened? I ordered a lot a year or so ago and it was fantastic.

Now I order and no matter what the pasta will have hardly any toppings regardless of choice and not much sauce. Just dry pasta with a pinch of sauce.

Sucks when they were so good

Chicken Caesar and bacon on sourdough

Chicken Caesar and bacon on sourdough - one of the worst sandwiches I have had in years. Dry, stodgy bread, bland filing, and a weird garlic aftertaste that won’t quit!! 2 stars instead of 1 because it was a good size, but I only ate half as it was so unpleasant. Good choice if you are really hungry and don’t have functional taste buds.

Bland and as dry as a 🏜. No Sauce.

Just Eat.
Sutton. Surrey Branch.

Ordered a mushroom (Gluten free) pasta with rosemary type bread. 3 donut balls. Water.
Basically spent £23 on water and 3 little donut balls!
Pasta was tasteless with NO SAUCE bone dry..literally. Bread was tasteless and dry, with a couple of sprigs of rosemary thrown on top to try and make it look authentic. No rosemary in the bread itself.
About 5 tiny bits of mushroom.
I had a few mouthfuls cos I was pretty hungry and couldn't eat any more. 2 little bites of the bread then threw it all away.
The experience was akin to eating a meal when you have the flu and cannot taste anything.
Not worth complaining to Just Eat as they are tight when it comes to refunds.
Just Eat have also got rid of our right to read restaurant reviews on their app as from 2025.😡I've NEVER had a meal so bland and uneventful.
The only thing that was half decent was the water! The little donut balls with biscoff filling were soft and passable..and that's being generous cos the rest of the food was tasteless!
The food was an insult to real Italian cuisine, a child could've made a better meal.
I really don't know how this "restaurant" is STILL in business? Shameful.
I would've been better off buying a £1.50 Bachelors pasta in sauce packet and cooking it myself, at least that has flavour!
Cooking at home is a safer bet, we need to stop financing Just Eat.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Thank me later!

Disappointing

Ordered a food for a parent and child, went for carbonara and bolognese with the bomboloni doughnuts, instead we got 2 large spicy, hot chicken ragus and no doughnuts, so my child couldn’t have had any of it and how to explain there is no desert especially when they were looking forward to it the most. Disappointing beyond words!!

Part of my Morning Routine

Love this place! Always a friendly welcome, great coffee and fresh food.
Not only to be able to get a sausage baguette and a coffee for under a fiver in the City but also to be served with smiles and a nothing's too much trouble attitude just tops it off.
Elisa & Eglé are always friendly, helpful and help set me up right for the day.

Their sandwich range in Tesco is rubbish.
31g of protein in the chicken and bacon ceaser stated, I fail to see how. 1 lump of chicken and 2 tiny pieces of bacon. It was all sauce

Not good enough

Delivery from Glasgow to Strathclyde retail park took 1.5 hours. Because it was on a bike. But a driver arrived in a car.
Meatball pasta had barely any sauce, not a meatball in sight (just some small bits of sausage meat) and a little cheese. Looks nothing like the picture online. Lukewarm is polite. Not particularly flavourful. Not recommended.

Bought a CHICKEN CAESAR & BACON ON…

Bought a CHICKEN CAESAR & BACON ON SOURDOUGH. Quite simply one of the worst sandwiches I have eaten, the filling is ok but the quality of the bread (if you can call it that) is disgraceful. Spongy, dry and the crazy thing is (especially this being sourdough) the crust is completely soft, no crunch at all. I didn’t eat all of it, about a quarter. Definitely a waste of money. Wouldn’t eat this again even if you paid me.

this is quite literally a scam

this is quite literally a scam

i have actual Coco in London a lot, this is not Coco, this is some bullshit, they put no sauce in the pot, i could count the mushrooms, in london its thick and creamy actual mushroom pasta, the pasta tasted overcooked as well, didnt surprise me when i found out this was actually from Zizzi

i know they are owned by the same company, but they have a very different setup in terms of their restaurants and are unable to provide the same quality of food, i hate these basically ghost kitchens that mask as the real deal when in actuality theyre just coming from some random kitchen

its a scam to say its coco, when youre making it in a Zizzi at a far worse quality
