Amazing service really helped me!

My fear wasn't worth it.

I was really afraid to go with conny.de at first, I didn't want to lose the flat or anything similar. it ended up reducing my rent by 400 euros a month. Also thanks to Heimstaden for understanding and cooperation, I don't know how other companies/individuals would deal with this.

The Conny team responds quickly to cases and questions, which is impressive compared to private legal consultants. They are also very customer-friendly, ensuring that conflicts or disagreements are handled smoothly.

Their rent reduction service is effective, they manage to lower rents when the necessary conditions are met. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but overall the service is reliable.

I highly recommend Conny, especially for immigrants or non-native German speakers who are new to Germany. This is particularly valuable in cities like Berlin and Munich, where many rental contracts exceed the legally permitted amounts.

I had a long-running issue with my landlord regarding overpaid rent. In total, I had paid 23 months of overpayment and was struggling to get my refund back. I decided to use Conny.de to help with my case.

The process was not fast — it took almost 10 months until everything was fully resolved — but throughout this period, Conny kept me informed and handled all the communication and legal work professionally.

In the end, I received exactly what I expected: €800 from my deposit plus 15 months of overpayment refunded. Without their support, I doubt I would have managed to achieve this outcome on my own.

I am very satisfied with the result and thankful for their persistence. Definitely a service worth recommending if you are in a similar situation with rental disputes in Germany.

Even though Conny reduced our rent significantly, they lacked a lot of transparency throughout the process.

In our first meeting with them, upon asking them the costs of the service, they said they took "a small amount" of the Rüge as payment. Later, we found through other sources that this small amount was actually the whole Rüge.

After re-nogotiating, we were able to keep 40% of it. Also, we found out that they charged our landlord extra for administrative costs.

So, in short: the service works, but is disappointingly untransparent .

It was very smooth for us. A spoke person explain all the terms and conditions. And within 2 months our rent was significantly reduced. My case was handled very professionally and everything was communicated in the timely manner.

They did a great job dealing with my landlord, my rent was reduced by more than 50% and I got a nice refund.

Very simple and straightforward process. Couple of email exchanges, one call, and 2 months of waiting.

Afterwards I received an email from them and my landlord (a company starts with H) that my rent was reduced from 1430 EUR to 980 EUR.

Insane service, nothing out of my pocket, and now I have an additional 450 I can use for other things.

Only thing that could be improved is keeping me updated on progress, the company tends to go silent after you submit the info they need; I guess so they can focus on the case.

Long process, but they were engaged and tried their best to reduce my rent. It is also nice that you do not need to be part of all of this struggle and they take care of everything. They did reduce my rent at the end, so the purpose of everything made sense and had a good result. Not always easy to deal with real states in Berlin though, so I appreciate it.
