The product style in my opinion was frumpish... material and colours were poor, I am afraid I had to return them. This is the first time I have returned any items to you perhaps I had chosen the wrong style for me.
No problem with delivery.. it was delivered in the time specified.

I love the clothes
I love the clothes. Buy them for my partner and myself. The only disappointing thing is the delivery to store charge. I buy from other outlets and they don’t charge for delivery.
The staff in the outlet are always polite and cheerful.

The white cotton blouse was of thin…
The white cotton blouse was of thin material which smelt musty when I opened the packet. I have washed it and ironed it and it is ok now but nothing special.
The "wrinkle free" notch neck T shirt also smelt musty and when washed is NOT "wrinkle free " as it was suppose to be. I will keep both items as I cant be asked to return them, now that they have been laundered.

I bought 4 pairs of straight hem cotton…
I bought 4 pairs of straight hem cotton jogging pants. I had bought similar from CT previously, but these were extremely big and baggy round the legs.
Same story with 2 pairs of "straight leg" jeans of a sort I had bought before. Big, baggy, shapeless legs again.
Product control needed to avoid a waste of time and money for me and CT.

Helpful staff, great experience
My first time using the Collect-in-store service. Very easy process. Really helpful and friendly staff, who also guided me towards some Sale items that I'd asked about.Normally I don't enjoy buying clothes or footwear but these people made it a pleasant experience!

Unfair exchange
Bought a shirt on that was reduced on special offer and when it arrived I tried it on it was too big so I sent it back and got the next size down which I thought would be exchanged for the same price but didn’t. I didn’t mind paying the postage and packaging but the extra money for the shirt is annoying and I won’t use cotton traders again

Lovely shop assistant with rude colleague
On 23 October I was served at Belton Garden Centre's branch (near Grantham) by a lovely lady. I had received a loyalty discount of £6.85 by email, and had it ready on my phone for the code to be entered at the till. However, another employee next to her broke off from a very loud private phone conversation and snapped that it could not be accepted in branch. She told the lovely lady serving me (Gina) to try it to see how it rejects. She input the code and it was immediately accepted. The other employee carried on her private phone call and offered no apology to me or her colleague. After all that, I'm happy with my discounted purchase.
