I ordered 2 pairs of elasticated waist rugby shorts for my husband which I thought were included in the 50% off offer on elasticated waist shorts . The online ordering system repeatedly showed that the code for the offer had been applied and only after I paid I realised it had not . I rang less than 30 minutes later and was informed the rugby shorts were not included in the offer but it was too late to cancel the order . I was offered a free returns label which I accepted but it was no in the parcel on delivery . The shorts were exactly what my husband needed so we kept them but I wanted to point out the confusion caused by the offer .

Good evening, thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
Firstly I would like to apologise for the confusion caused by the promotion you had received. When entering a code on our website the promotion box will advise which items are included in the offer, providing a hyper link to each item. However, I can certainly understand why the confusion occurred as both items share similar names.
Unfortunately we are unable to alter orders placed online as they are sent straight to our warehouse and can take up to an hour to appear on our systems. By the time we can see an order, it has normally been packed and placed into a large shipping tote containing hundreds of other parcels ready for a Hermes collection. We do provide delivery notes with our orders which allow customers to return parcels via a Hermes parcel shop or a local Post Office, but using these labels usually comes with a £2.95 deduction from refunds, but my colleague had offered to waive this fee due to the confusion of our promotion codes.
I am glad to see that the Shorts were greeted so well by your husband, but as a gesture of good will for this experience I will arrange for a gift voucher to be posted to you which will hopefully make up for the disappointment of not receiving the 50% discount price on these Shorts.

I like your shoes especially the lightweight ones. I ordered some peep toe but have had to unfortunately send them back, as nice as they were I needed a larger size. I find all the shoes from Cotton Traders that I've had are very well made and so comfortable.
