Cody and Carlo were very efficient and quick to problem solve, asking for our help in pointing out any problems. They even gave me a quiet space to do my Zoom class. Thanks guys.

Great experience from the beginning
Great experience from the initial meeting with Mark Faulkner through to the end of the project.
All involved were extremely knowledgeable and happy to offer advice without being pushy.
The 14 Evolution windows were expertly fitted by Lee, Jamie and Dominic without any mess and in only two and a half days. Far quicker than we had anticipated and without the need to redecorate the rooms.
We cannot fault the team and are delighted with the end result.
Large double glazed window.,
Installer of large window was polite, on time and spread dust sheets to keep the carpet clean.
He also cleaned up any dust after. Installation .
All very satisfactory .

Horsham happy customer.
Fitted date of installation to my needs. Took care in covering all areas they were walking on. Vacuumed up after they had finished, & left clean & tidy. All rubbish taken away. They checked another window that wasn’t sealing properly, & advised what was needed. Well done Liam & Ash as it was freezing today.

Great experience from start to finish and would recommend this company. We opted for Evolution windows to be in keeping with age of property. Ahmed was knowledgeable and helpful at the Sales stage and Ryan was very patient with me regarding getting exact dimensions right for the configuration of the transom drip bar and leading on the bays windows. When it came to installation Tyler and Cody were exceptional. It was a really tricky installation over several days but they dealt with it all calmly and great attention to detail. We are delighted with the finished product.

What did you do to our home
County - Scam - keep clear.
We found county through an online search. We spoke and they were extremely confident they could perform our bathroom upgrade and porch extension better than anyone else and that they are the best builders and fitters. They were more expensive than their competitors, but they were able to supply financing. We signed two contracts for a new entrance porch and bathroom, with the work to start and finish in July 2024. After 4 months all we have to show is a porch which was constructed, unbeknown to ourselves, without building regulations and not weather proofed and a basic shell of a bathroom with no toilets.
As the project got extended and Julie and Steve visited our home and claimed that the entrance porch was "pre-finished," even though nothing was actually completed, and the area was still filled with the workers' equipments. Then, they needed money, Nicholas (CFO) and Steve came to our home to demand finance release for the entrance porch to help them continue, promising that all work would be completed in a few weeks. We made an additional agreement which Nicolas and Steve signed. We unwisely agreed to release the finance for work to be finished by the end of October. Once we released the funds, they stopped working on the porch. Then we were concerned that County were not using the correct building materials, but our concerns were ignored. so we contacted Stroma, the building regulator. Stroma wasn’t even informed by County that work had started and immediately cancelled their involvement in the building regulations. We were told to "trust" County, that they would sort out the building regulation but 3 months later they had still not contacted the local council and there is no update from County. Steve, Julie and Nicholas promised to finish the external wall and apply Mastic Seal to waterproof the Porch unit and bathroom, because there were gaps and holes between the house and the new porch and the roof area. Julie, 1 month later, said this will not happen until next summer due to "cold weather". After heavy storms in Nov 2024, water got inside the structure. I can't understand why they would not apply a temporary mastic seal for now and redo again later to keep the integrity of what they had just built. Only a portion of the entrance porch was self levelled, so tiling cannot occur as they also have to remove the old door. One of the Country workers also mentioned the new entrance door area had not been built correctly, leaving a large gap that lets in cold air.
For the bathroom, we were also led to believe that building regulations would be applied for, due to the extensiveness of the structural changes, but we later found out that the building regulators had not been involved, during the Porch building regulation fiasco. We knew at this point that there was no oversight to the bathroom and we had to start becoming experts in building regulation ASAP. It was lucky we are fast learners: The electrician "accidentally" forgot that he had to install an extractor fan in one of the bathrooms, cover naked wiring with ducting going into the walls. He even tried to install emergency isolation switches in hard to access attic areas without telling us. The spotlights in the ceiling were installed with massive cracks in the plasterboard. The first attempt at plasterboarding was so bad my extended family gasped in horror when they saw it, as it looked as though it had been done by a child. We had to insist that it be taken down and started again with a new plasterer. The new plasterer did an excellent job, but was not interested in finishing the job and soon started turning up only 1-2 hours every other day and then finally stopped, saying that he needed to have a plumber to carry on the work, which County could not supply and work just stopped. We are still scratching our heads to figure out why County demanded that we have all of our bathroom supplies (toilet, shower, etc) on site from the beginning of September. Its now December and we still have a living room full of Bathroom supplies, that are now past their return date, no toilet and no shower
We are in a state of shock at just how awful this experience has been, the damage to our house and the hard earned money we have lost. We are currently talking to the finance company to see if we can get any portion of our money back.

A throughly professional job
The manager in the shop was very helpful and informative, without pressing. Communication was good and the installers were friendly and professional. I was impressed that, when a concealed electrical wire was nicked the installer called an electrician to fix it, rather than just taping it up. Our new front door has made a noticeable difference to the warmth of our house. This firm is excellent.

Poor Service, Multiple Issues, and Lack of Attention to Detail
Our experience with County has been frustrating and disappointing over the course of five months. The service and quality fell significantly below what we expected. If zero stars were possible, that’s what this company would receive.
Here are the key issues we encountered:
1. **Wrong Door Opening Direction**: The door was installed to open in the wrong direction, blocking access to a toilet door and causing considerable inconvenience.
2. **Missing Spy Hole**: A basic security feature like the spy hole was omitted, which we expected to be standard.
3. **Incorrect Handle Type**: The handle installed was not the one we had specified during the ordering process.
4. **Transparent Glass Instead of Privacy Glass**: Despite requesting privacy glass, the door was fitted with transparent glass, compromising our privacy.
5. **Unsightly Interim Door**: For two months, we had to live with an incomplete installation surrounded by orange foam, which was both unsightly and raised concerns about security and functionality.
6. **Spy Hole Damage and Delays**: The original spy hole arrived damaged from the factory, and the replacement process took over a month, with incorrect replacements ordered twice.
7. **Loose Keyhole**: The keyhole was installed loosely and required further repairs.
It took many months for all of these issues to be finally addressed, leaving us to deal with the inconvenience and frustration in the meantime.
Communication throughout this process was poor, with little attention to detail, no quality control and incompetent customer service, sales and surveying. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Tyler and his colleague installed our new front door. Being the cottage is nearly 200 years old nothing is straightforward. They made a tricky job look easy and we’re so pleased with the result. Hopefully they will be installing the windows in a couple of months

Very pleased with our new windows and the quality and service we received. We had 27 windows and doors replaced on what is a challenging older property and the advice we received and the installation from Tyler and Cody was excellent. Would recommend County and it reminded me that specialists (rather than general builders) always do a far better job.
