Avoid TOP3-Reviews website
Please, do not buy this product. I bought this ‘online only’ sale for £138, supposedly saving £81 … on 13.1.2025. Only 7 were available on that date, and only 7 are available today 18.1.2025. I think it’s a con. No reply from emails to Covatar or to their ‘chap’ Luke Edwards who has highly recommended their product. Dehumidifier has been delivered. It’s cheap rubbish with inefficient instructions for use. It’s hopeless and I feel… A SCAM

Doesn't collect much water and overpriced. Wish I had read reviews. Impossible to contact company by email. Very disappointed.
I ordered an item from this company…
I ordered an item from this company online but changed my mind. I emailed them cancelling the order before the item was shipped. They ignored this email and sent the item. After a number of emails back and forth they told me to return it to China and pay all associated costs and fees. I ordered this from UK website not Chinese website. British law says you have 14 days to change your mind when ordering online. They have not met this requirement as I did email them before they shipped the item.
I do not recommend this company and will not use them again
SCAM
SCAM - TOTALLY AVOID..! ZERO STARS !
We bought two dehumidifiers, one for our daughter & one for ourselves. The cost was £130 each, they were similar to ones on Amazon for about £40/£50, when they arrived they were tiny and not up to the job.
When we contacted the company to ask for a return it took them 5 days to reply, but only after we had contacted our credit card company..!
They told us to plug them in and try them for 24 hours 🤷🏻♀️ even after we had told them we didn’t want to keep them & we had bought another machine that was up to the job. We believe this was a ploy to say we couldn’t return them as they had been used ?!? Be careful !
We explained that we just wanted to return them and get a refund & we were told we had to return them to China 😳 at our own expense and would have to pay for import taxes also & that then we would receive significantly less than we paid due to restocking charges… 😡😡 THIS COMPANY IS A SCAMMER - AVOID AT ALL COST!
Do not buy from Covatar
So like all the other negative comments I have unfortunately fallen foul of this company. The product review online is false and the dehumidifiers are rubbish. They would struggle to dry out a dolls house. I have tried to return the item only to be informed that it needs to be sent back to china at my expense. Dont purchase anything from Covatar.
Product doesn't work
Product doesn't work. Covatar don't respond to return/refund requests, despite the 30-day 'satisfaction guarantee'. They simply deploy delaying tactics, sending emails requesting tests, photos etc. Don't bother corresponding with them. Pack the product back in the box and ...
To get your money back, follow the guidance from Martin Lewis's 'Money Saving Expert' regarding credit card ('Section 75') claim or debit card ''chargeback' claim.

Edit 14 Jan: All you need to know about Covatar - or DryEase, or Raveno, or Dewett (or any other name this junk has been sold under) - is revealed in an excellent BBC podcast by Polly Weston called 'Dehumidified'.
Incredibly, she researched and revealed this scam - in depth - in March 2024. The podcast is easy to search/trace, with that info.
One lesson I've learned is to buy stuff with a credit card. Barclaycard have been excellent in cancelling the item from my account, and are investigating. Meanwhile, the Covatar 'dehumidifier' is back in its box. The box appears to have come from a major warehouse complex in Dunstable - perhaps the one that Polly Weston visited.

I also wish I had read these reviews rather than buying because of a 'top 3' dehumidifier review.
Mine is useless, collected a dribble of water after over 24 hours. I have no success at all in receiving a return address despite 4 emails so far.
Not sure how to progress to gain refund as bought with debit card :(
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
I wish I read these before ordering. The advertisement is misleading and does not work.

This is in fact the fourth rebrand of this plastic piece of rubbish, do not get taken in by the top three rated dehumidifiers the bloke ' Luke Edwards ' has also changed, it's a scam from China........you will be extremely frustrated and you will struggle to get your money back luckily Nationwide stepped in ........I also tried to have Google take down the fake sponsored review but obviously they didn't ( money talks) if you are going to buy a dehumidifier buy one from a shop directly in the UK, Argos, Screwfix etc there is a reason why it's so cheap ( and nasty!)
I wish I had read these before buying…
I wish I had read these before buying the unit. Am trying to return but told I have to send it back to China at my expense. They have offered me 3 percent refund which comes to less than £4 haven't tried unit yet just hope it works. Emailed 7 times before I got a reply which told me nothing useful on how to return or get a refund
Please don't be taken in by these awful people
This is the third incarnation of this terrible company. They were formerly known as Dryease then Raveno and now Covatar. I think what they do, is wait until the number of bad reviews and complaints become too damaging to their sales, then they change their name. The website is identical each time, and miraculously, they always have the same number in stock. Please don’t be fooled by them like I was. Also, look at the ratings. Most are one star. There are some five star reviews, which I find very difficult to believe. I would also expect to see some in between if it was a decent product, which it is not!
Do NOT buy from this “company”
Do NOT buy from this “company”, this dehumidifier is rubbish and doesn’t work properly! I ordered one, set it up and in 20 hours it collected a dribble of water! I’m in the process of trying to get my money back but they won’t even give me an address to return it to! SCAM!!!
Can't give 0 stars
Can't give 0 stars
Do not go anywhere near this scamming company. Utter disgrace!
SCAM!!!…
Why oh why didn't I read the reviews before I ordered!! I am trying to return the unit and now have been told it has to be returned to China despite having a return address in the UK.
This is a scam!
This is a total scam. I bought the same product ,then called DryEase. I tried to return it before I used it as it was too small, obviously no refrigerant or dessicant in it. I was told it had to go back to China ( China was not mentioned in the Returns policy) and that it wasn't worth my while. Following that we exchanged several emails with them offering a discount starting at 3% and rising with each communication. I asked for the return address twice but nothing was forthcoming.
This has been going on for months and yet nothing is done to stop them trading! I hope the numerous banks who have compensated the many victims of this scam will get together and stop the company trading!!
Raveno dehumidifiers have changed name yet again
If you have come here looking for reviews of the dehumidifiers, you would be strongly advised to read the reviews for Raveno dehumidifiers. Its the same company and same product (same level of service and quality lol); they just change their name every few months.
Do not buy from this company they are a…
Do not buy from this company they are a scam. Formally raveno these dehumidifiers are rubbish they don’t work properly then when you try to return it you can’t.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They used to be called DryEase, then changed their name to Raveno and now Covatar. Despite appearances they are based in China. The Top3-review site that recommends them is fake. The dehumidifier is asthmatic and hardly collects any water at all. It certainly isn't worth the £138 they sell it for. They breach UK distance sellings laws by refusing to tell you how you can send the unit back. Please do not fall victim to these scammers, read the Trustpilot reviews for DryEase and Raveno.
Also, it's quite clear the few positive reviews on here are part of the scam - no one could claim the dehumidifier is effective!! Hopefully Trustpilot will remove them.
