I was going to book this site until I found out that you had to pay £35 for a trailer. I do not understand what this charge is for , when I am paying for the pinch in the first place . I think this is a total con and rip off . So if you are going to this site I would. Check with them first that you are not getting ripped of . Other sites do not charge for trailers when you already paying for the pitch as long as it fits on your pitch I do not see why I would have to pay this extortionate price . ITS JUST ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE MONEY OF YOU . THE SITE IS(CREALY THEME PARK &RESORT DEVON PLEASE BE AWARE .
Disappointed by Lack of Accessibility for Children with Hidden Disabilities
I recently had a disappointing experience at the Crealy Park Theme Park & Resort during our stay. We booked our visit with the expectation that the resort would be accommodating for my son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Unfortunately, we encountered significant barriers to accessibility that severely impacted our day.
Despite my son’s sensory and cognitive challenges making waiting in queues extremely difficult, he was denied a ride access pass solely because he does not receive the high-rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA). This policy is not only arbitrary but also discriminatory, as it overlooks the needs of children with hidden disabilities. The stringent criteria for obtaining high-rate mobility funding exclude many deserving children, effectively preventing them from fully enjoying the park's attractions.
Our visit turned into a stressful ordeal rather than a fun family day. Managing my son’s needs in an unaccommodating environment was exhausting, culminating in a distressing meltdown that left us feeling humiliated and disheartened. Having to explain my son's disability to staff and other guests while waiting in line was an unnecessary strain that could have been easily avoided with reasonable accommodations.
Crealy Park's policy fails to comply with the legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, which mandate service providers to make reasonable adjustments for individuals with disabilities. The lack of recognition for hidden disabilities in their access policies is not only a missed opportunity for inclusivity but also a breach of their legal responsibilities.
Additionally, the requirement for letters from GPs or medical professionals to justify why a child cannot queue is both costly and impractical. Most doctors are unlikely to write such letters, which further complicates the situation for families seeking necessary support. This policy adds financial pressure on families already navigating the complexities of disability.
To improve the experience for disabled guests, I strongly recommend that Crealy Park implement a system that allows those who cannot stand in queues to return to the ride at a designated time. This would create a more equitable experience for all visitors.
Overall, our experience at the Crealy Park Theme Park & Resort was far from the inclusive and enjoyable outing we had hoped for. Until significant changes are made to their accessibility policies, I would advise families with children who have hidden disabilities to carefully consider their options before visiting.
Nothing like it used to be
Nothing like it used to be, no animals to pet apart from a few miniture donkeys, horses or alpaca. Food is a rip off, £13.99 for a small pizza, refill drinks you pay £2 to refill. Gokarts are extra £4 each as are some other things. Your better going to Chessington for a better all round family experience if your not fussed about travel. I used to go years ago and it was more whole family orientated, now its a bit of a disappointment. The log flume queue was an hour so didnt bother. The indoor animal section is boring, some reptiles and limited. Only saving grace was the good indoor play area and fort outside. The carpark has a section with building rubble used as hardcore, plastic, wires and broken china with lots of screws, if you get a puncture you will know where from, i picked up at least 10 screws by my car before i drove off.. very poor. its not a one off small section, there is quite a big section of carpark they need to completely remove and redo.

Absolutely disgraceful today on our visit to crealy
We traveled over an hour and a half to get to you only for the place to be CLOSED!!!
We even booked tickets for Wednesday 4th September!! your website allowed us to book tickets for the day in question Google said you were open 10-4.30pm on Wednesday 4th September!!
We got to you and the park was closed!
You had over 30 cars coming in and out in the small time frame we were there, with their children that was also upset because they thought they were coming for a day out
At crealy!! whom all of the people we spoke to said that they had seen the website were selling tickets and stating
You were open also!!
The manager made a lot of the people feel like they were stupid saying that your website simply states you are CLOSED! !
Im sure 30+people would not have got that wrong!!!
Crealy you have really screwed up this time
And caused there to be a lot of unhappy people..
NICE WORK 👏 😡
The theme park was incredibly…
The theme park was incredibly overcrowded, with long queues everywhere. We spent 35mns to 1h just waiting in line, and there wasn't much else to do. Even using the toilet meant waiting for 20 minutes. The soft play areas were packed with too many people. Food and drinks were extremely overpriced. We had to pay £88 just to spend the whole day standing in line. I believe that coming here during the summer holidays is the worst decision. Never ever again.
Good camping and theme park
Camping pitches a good size and well maintained. Kids loved the parks. Decent toilets and showers but not maintained and cleaned properly. Several toilets and sinks out of order throughout our entire stay and cleaners not doing a thorough job.
Food in the clubhouse not great but edible and cheap. Service was poor. Entertainment was rubbish but the kids enjoyed having the soft play and arcade open in the evenings. Crealy theme park was tidy asides from the toilets which again weren't cleaned properly and good rides for young children. We loved the diving show.
Overall an okay stay. Positioned well to explore Devon. Sidmouth just a short drive away as is Exmouth which has a sandy beach.
Would stay again but think crealy need to train their staff properly for a better experience.
Disappointed
Lovely place. I'm here as I'm writing this review. It says online it's cashless here. And that's very much wrong. Water guns they take money grabber machines and certain attractions u need cash for. I have a 5 year old who's come here for his birthday and is constantly asking for stuff I need cash for. Plus there is no cash machines here.
Had an a amazing visit
We went for 3 days at the resort and got FREE theme park park entry. It's the only theme park I know with Sooty (an old TV show) but that's a good thing. I only have a couple of things to complain about though. So first of all in the resort they expect you to bring a caravan or trailer for a tent but the speed bumps are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! You do not need speed bumps like that at all costs. Second of all I can't do anything about this but due to the really long queues on our first day we only got to go on a few rides. Take the twister for instance, we waited an hour and a half for a one minute ride since it's only a couple of carts at one time even though there is 4. But on a good side of things at the resort you have quads and duos which are so fun to ride but a bit expensive like for a quad for half an hour is 32 pounds.10/10 for the food and drinks at the restaurant in the resort and in the theme park as well. Over all I had a fantastic time and will probably be back next year 😃.
25 of us and we all had the best time
We stayed here for 7 days there are 25 of our family members staying here from Kent and Dorset. Today's our last day and not one of us are happy to be leaving we have had the best week. The park itself offers so much and I'd like to give 3 members of staff on the maximus ride " Molly, Alana and Lauren" a special mention they were superb with my children who have additional needs and made the experience for them such a delight.
If anyone is wondering about the evening entertainment it is brilliant they involve all the kids and even the big kids (us parents) they have a different theme every evening so no 2 nights are the same, the silent disco was the kids favourite. The bar team were superb with us as well especially Thomas and Keiran, we can't thank you enough for putting up with us all!
Anyone thinking to booking a week but wondering If it's too long, do it you won't regret it.
We hope you have a 'Crealy great time' just like we all did. We've already booked for the week next year!

For the second year running we have holidayed at crealy and both times found it fun for all the family. An exceptional place to relax, in peaceful surroundings. The theme park is full of fun for the children and well thought out for various age groups. The staff are all friendly any questions is no trouble to answer at all. Many thanks to the head groundsman Ady for his help during our recent visit very much appreciated. If you haven't been to crealy then make it a choice to book up and have fun with the family.
Very disappointed. Staff rude & unhelpful.
Very disappointed. Staff were not helpful, rude and the height restriction was ridiculous. Other members of our group went on the driving track but my daughter was turned away for being about 3mm too short, despite being the tallest child in the group. The young lad was clearly being a jobsworth & sums up the inconsistencies across the rides. Would not recommend for a fun day out.

Visited July 3rd 2024 Waste of £80. Not good for Sen kids in anyway shape or form. The man on the on the maximus told told my child with Sen issues to “you need to calm down”. Won’t be going back again 👍

Disappointing Experience at Crealy Theme Park Lodge
As a returning visitor to Crealy Theme Park and Lodge, I had eagerly anticipated my fourth-year visit, expecting it to be as delightful as the previous ones. However, regrettably, my recent stay was marred by a series of disappointments that significantly impacted my overall experience.
Upon arrival, one of the primary features I had been looking forward to was the Jacuzzi, which I had hoped to enjoy immediately. Unfortunately, it was not ready, requiring us to wait until the evening to use it. This initial setback was frustrating, but I remained optimistic about the rest of our stay.
Another issue arose when it came to the allocation of wristbands. Despite booking a lodge for six people, only three wristbands were provided, with staff unwilling to issue additional bands for the other guests. This discrepancy created unnecessary tension and inconvenience, particularly as it hindered the full enjoyment of the park's amenities.
However, the most egregious aspect of our experience occurred the morning before our departure. Anticipating a relaxing start to the day, we were dismayed to find the Jacuzzi devoid of water. Despite assurances of a quick resolution, the situation persisted, leaving us unable to use this advertised feature until much later in the day. This lack of attention to detail and inconvenience severely detracted from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
Furthermore, interactions with the reception staff only exacerbated our frustration. Instead of offering genuine assistance, their demeanor was dismissive and, at times, outright rude. This added insult to injury, making me feel disregarded and undervalued as a paying customer.
Considering the significant financial investment I had made for this experience, totaling over £1000, the overall treatment and handling of the situation were deeply disappointing. What was meant to be a cherished family holiday became marred by frustration and disappointment, tarnishing the reputation of an establishment I had previously held in high regard.
In conclusion, while Crealy Theme Park and Lodge may offer exciting attractions and accommodations, my recent experience fell far short of expectations. The failure to address fundamental issues promptly and the lack of adequate customer service left a lasting negative impression. As a result, I am hesitant to return or recommend Crealy Theme Park and Lodge to others until improvements are made to ensure a more satisfactory experience for all guests.

Sooty Swept Us Off Our Fret
This is the second year we've stayed here and the second year we've come back over impressed and smiling. All staff were fantastic. We spoke to Dan and Louise mainly and nothing was too much for them. The cedar lodge was absolutely phenomenal and nothing was too much trouble for the hard working reception team (Natasha). Have already re booked for next year!!!

We are currently staying here and are very disappointed.
Theme park was noted on there website to be open for the weekend only but not noted only some rides will be open so very disheartening for our 6 kids we would never of booked if it was clearly displayed most rides will be closed.
Other than the theme park which is now closed there is absolutely nothing to do.
The massive play center and indoor entertainment is in the theme park itself so the resort is absolutely poor.
We would never come again.
Lodges are lovely and jacuzzi is a good touch but the parks are absolutely rubbish no effort in them whatsoever.
We will most likely leave early due to the lack of entertainment
I booked a holiday with crealy resort…
I booked a holiday with crealy resort for 2 weeks from next year 27/7/24 to the 10/8/24 i paid £1158.99 for a lodge for the two weeks only to receive a phone call from Jess explaining that they were not allowing people to stay for two weeks any longer when i asked them to honour my booking as it was paid in full i was told no i could have a refund or stay for a week when i asked how much money i would get back if we stayed for a week i was told i would get back £100
Its a disgrace that they can treat people like this its safe to safe i wont be booking with Crealy again

As a previous customer I am disappointed to be leaving this feedback . Booked a stay and play offer . Only for them to refuse the offer when arrived . Misleading link on website page , staff not the most pleasant unlike all other times . Can no longer recommend crealy
Brilliant Value
Brilliant day out - 3 year old loved it!!! Lots of rides and variety - not long wait times - amazing soft play zone - added bonus of a free return day
