Don’t get the Annual Pass!
Took a star away, as the passes are a huge scam. Do not buy one! You end up paying more, not less! We’ve paid our over £600 so far, for our holiday with Crealy and we have the Platinum Pass!! We could’ve paid around half that, without the pass! AND got tickets and breakfast FREE! We’re absolutely gutted and every time we mention it to Crealy, we get ignored.
Crealy is our favourite place to go, but you’d think, having the Platinum Pass would give you benefits.. it does not. When you do the maths properly.. you’re not saving. We love Crealy and go every year, several times a year, as well as holidays. It’s better than Butlins! The last time we went though, was hell. Our locker wouldn’t open and we stood around for 3 hours, waiting for person after person to come and unlock it. Nobody could work it out! Then, everywhere to eat was either closed or being refurbished, so we couldn’t get the children any dinner/tea! We opted for hot dogs in the end and they had to have half of one each! £5 each they were. Ridiculous! And on top of that, my son nearly broke his arm on a swing, in the park, so our holiday was cut short. Oh and one of the ladies got in a mood with another and left the till as she was serving us, so that was extremely rude!! We’re hoping this time will be better, but, already, it’s starting to feel like it won’t.. we’ve ended up paying a stupid amount, when we could’ve not had the £150 pass and saved a whole lot more. Fingers crossed for a better time this year.. every other time we’ve came, has been fantastic. We’ve been coming since Crealy opened, when I was around 2 years old or something like that!
We are platinum annual pass holders and…
We are platinum annual pass holders and we won’t re-new this year. the park is in need of some better staff, there are a fair mix of rides, there’s not much for the older kids, the ride staff are lovely, couldn’t be nicer, however the kitchen and serving staff are rude every time, the food is dire, absolutely awful in all food courts in the park, and it really needn’t be as they have the facilities to make it great. It’s clean and tidy, the new sooty land is really for very young children and has a handful of funfair quality rides. It’s really gone downhill in the last few years. Such a shame. Perfect for ages up to about 8, not much beyond that
We near enough had the whole camp site…
We near enough had the whole camp site to our selfs it was empty, the elderly camp site staff that drive around on there golf cart are extremely rude!, we got upgraded to a gravel flat pitch for no reason by crealy next to the toilets that we’re not open due to problems within the toilets ?? so we had to walk five minutes to the other nearest toilet and shower facilities to have hot water….. then in the morning we were told to hurry and leave as it was passed 10am by a lady camp site employer to which our van was packed and just a few things left to put in, then a minute or so after a golf cart pulls up with two chaps in and again tell us to hurry and leave, said we had out stayed our time and was to leave promptly!
Maybe if we hadn’t been upgraded and was near a toilet and shower and didn’t have to walk so far to get hot water we may have reached your 10am kick out time!!!
The way the staff walk around watching you and the way they talk to you is disgusting and disrespectful and purely for that fact I will not be returning.
You guys made me feel very awkward and that’s the last thing I need when I get out in the van for a long weekend to de-stress myself from work.
Shame on you Crealy!
Lots to do for younger children and…
Lots to do for younger children and even slightly older, definitely upgraded from when I’ve been before.
Visited this theme park during the…
Visited this theme park during the Halloween 2021 spook-fest was expecting some spectacular surprises but it didn't WOW me, the witches of the wilderness was just a walk around the forest and rather boring expect for the little one's under 8yrs old. The scarecrow scare maze was nothing like how i imagined it to be. My kids both under 5 were laughing nothing scary or spooky there. The Creaky hotel was the same another let down.
The fun part was pumkin patch, kids meeting pumpkin patch himself but the lady looking after that area was a bit rude intially same goes for the person on shark bay ride was very rude and made my little one cry by not allowing me to take two kids on the ride at the same time.
This really let the whole experience of our day out go down the drain, some kids were also very rude snatching the mats from my child on the Buzzard Swoop. There was not a member of staff in sight around this attraction so i could complain about this issue.
Overall there were some lovely staff members like the lady on the Safari Express, that's where our day started off and then it all went downhill from there.
Not very comfortable about the event's that unfolded and cleaning stations were out of sanitisers so need to imply more Covid safety measures.
Traffic at the end of the day was horrendous so would advice to leave 1hr before park closes otherwise be stuck in traffic stationary for nearly 1hr.
Park is okay for locals that live nearby but not worth the effort for a day trip.
Not a fun day out
My autistic grandson has been staying with us for his holiday and all the places we've visited have allowed free entry for him or my 74 year old wife as his carer. We emailed Crealy for pricing and the reply was order on line, as they cannot sell on site. I asked if they had carer discount and they never replied to my two emails. After paying £32 on line, my wife and grandson
arrived after a half hour walk from a field only to find that payment was being accepted at the information office. When they finally got in hardly anyone was wearing a mask and the wait for most rides were about one to one and a half hours. He managed to get two rides as some were closed.I live close by and like to support local businesses but I don't like being ripped off at £16 a ride.Fun day out I think not!!!!!

Absolutly disgusting not covid safe at all avoid unless you want to catch covid
Where to start we’ll when ordering food went to find a table all were dirty an uncleaned so I requested cloths and spray to clean our own table an rather than the staff member offering to clean the table the said they couldn’t give me spray but could spray it for me I actual had to tell her where to spray ( let me remind u COVID !! I souldnt have to tell a staff member where to put cleaning spray !!!). An again after she sprayed walked straight of leaving me to scrub there disgusting tables
The food was shockingly bad 30 pound for fish an chips 1 small pizza 1 small garlic bread an a drink I’m sorry but at what point did such a small amount of food cost the same amount as a family meal at a resturant
Absolutely no cleaning of rides or food areas
After queuing for an hour to go on one ride that was shockingly bad even the props were falling apart !!!!
We were in the part four hours and my son in that time only got a chance to ride two rides
Avoid this place have been to every theme park in the uk and this place is by far the worst !!
If you love your kids taking them here will NOT show that you love them
We stayed here on the touring site for…
We stayed here on the touring site for 5 days. We had unlimited theme park tickets also.
The theme park itself was good, seemed clean and well kept. The rides I would recommend for younger children up to age 8ish. My nearly 10 year old liked the larger rides but wasn’t wowed!
The larger soft play area was a bit stuffy and smelly, could do with some air flow
Really.
The pizzas were a bit overpriced but tasty.
Doughnuts tasty and fair price.
Sausage rolls and pasties were ok but were literally thrown at us (staff member not great).
Chicken restaurant was nice and lovely helpful staff.
Queues can get a bit long for rides but to be expected in the summer holidays.
Some rides allowed us to buggy swap so my partner and I could both go on one after the other with our older children and swap over waiting with the buggy rather than re joining the queue.
Slushes went down well with the kids. They enjoyed the car rides, log flume, water slides and the arcades
The campsite was clean and well staffed. We had some noisy neighbours one night until quite late but we did her a member of staff asking them to keep to the noise down as per the park rules.
The food in the on site restaurant didn’t look great so we didn’t eat there so can’t comment. Drinks were average pub prices.
Shops is small but has a refill milk machine which we loved and a few other essentials.
My only negative comments are that while the majority of staff were great there were a few that were a bit unfriendly and abrupt.
The lady serving the golf was so blunt and rude. The lad on the pasty stall was rude, threw down our order and walked off.
The gentleman booking us in was a bit uninterested and a bit rude taking a phone call mid way through speaking with us.
The family bathroom was pretty grotty too so we walked straight back out again and used the men’s/women’s showers which were a lot cleaner and nicer.
Overall we would not revisit purely because our children are a bit old for the theme park now. I would suggest under 8s would love this place. Although the camp site itself we did like.
My eldest loved the basketball court and football pitch, all our children enjoyed the parks and mini golf.
I think I would give an 8/10
Long queues, grubby, poor value for money
Extremely disappointed with today’s visit. Spent over £100 and feel short changed. In the past Crealy has been a fantastic place to take my three children and they used to offer a 7 for 1 day pass but this has been removed presumably due to Covid. However, I have never seen so many people crammed in. The wait times for all the rides were far worse than any previous summer holiday time visit. The queues at Chessington during peak times are no where near as bad.
The tables in the eating hall had been removed. You can’t blame COViD because it was jam packed full of people wondering where they were going to eat their food. Tables outside were dirty, bins full, floors dirty and rides out of action. Won’t be going here again. It’s gone downhill which is a shame. Obviously the owners have to make a profit, but now it is unashamedly at the expense of the customers’ experience.
Really awful.
Always had a really great time at Crealy in the past, but today it was AWFUL. There is now no-where to sit inside... and they can't blame COVID rules because the place was packed and crowded. Twister was not working, one of the indoor rides was not working and everywhere was dirty. The food was greasy (pizza was £10 each and fish and chips £8!!) and again not enough seating for people to eat, so my kids had to sit on a dirty floor to eat. Indoor play area has some weird barriers where the kids have to line up to go in, but when they want to come out, they have to walk shoeless through the amusement side.
There seems to be a lot of staff wandering around aimlessly, but not enough staff on the rides...
Will never go back. Seems they are using COVID as an excuse to rip people off. Cheaper to go to Flambards which has so much more on offer! I'm just feeling awful that I have spent £85 for half a day that was really disappointing. The kids didn't enjoy it at all, hence didn't stay all day.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Can’t tell anyone reading just how bad the management is and how rude they are.
I have been going to Crealy for years with the kids, and the park is pretty good for little ones, however, I’ve never needed assistance, until…
This time I had an issue with the ATM in the gift shop which withdraw money from my bank but dispensed no cash, displayed no message and gave no receipt.
They have a CCTV pointing at the machine, but refuse to show footage and didn’t even check the cash float to investigate.
All they said was take a picture of the ATM and call them because it’s not our problem, although it is clear more could have been done.
Ended with me one week later having my bank raise a dispute which can all take 90days! Tried countlessly calling but it is instantly automated with no option to leave a message (try it and see for fun👍). I emailed with no response, and then finally got a response through FB messenger… but still they wouldn’t get a manager to call me, but get this.. they gave me the number with the automated number 🤯 it is still ongoing for me unfortunately and my next step is Ombudsman to try to gain some respect for all future customers… wish me luck 🤞
Good fun place with lots more than it…
Good fun place with lots more than it use to have. Obviously COVID changes things a little bit think it’s good value in relation to other places
Ridiculous poor service
Ridiculous poor service, I stood waiting in line with my son for a ride, we waited patiently as everyone else did. Then over the bridge come some grown up kids and the parents! With some que jumping passes and they're all allowed on individual boats! which made waiting even longer! If you don't appreciate my money, I'll just spend it somewhere else because when I pay FULL price for something I expect a day out not to spend half my day queing behind adults with que jumping passes!
No covid safety measures, everywhere is filthy and uncleaned.
Awful Value
This park used to offer 7 days for the price of 1 but doesn't anymore. Its now not value for money at all for families. Crealy have advised the removal of this offer is due to safety but i see no evidence of safety being a consideration anyway as no equipment was cleaned and nor were people able to distance as the numbers were as busy as ever. The government road map moves to stage 4 on 19 July but it seems that Crealy are exploiting the situation to make more profit. This is now awful value for hard working families as we're getting a fraction of what we used to get for the same price
Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff
I changed my booking
Only because of the bad weather
It was easy and no problem for them at all.
That’s they way how you treat customers.
And by the way i love the Park
Arrived at the beach house lodge to…
Arrived at the beach house lodge to stay for one week, looked great inside and out. I will say though that the inside should have been cleaner, not considering the pandemic. We had to clean the place again ourselves. Floors were dirty, carpets not hoovered, so bring your own cleaning equipment. The hot tub was brilliant and clean. The guys who kept it clean did a great job. The beds are cheap and slightly uncomfortable, but sleep was OK. The inside is very well furnished and had all you needed for your stay. The park and site itself was well kept. The clubhouse was a huge disappointment though. The food was terrible, very cheap ingredients not cooked well and hugely overpriced considering. Staff in the clubhouse were abit rude, but all the maintenance guys were polite and friendly. Would definitely avoid the food at all costs. I stuggle to understand how food can be cooked and served so badly since most of us know how to cook at home you would at least expect the same if not better when paying someone to do it for you. Go to the diggers rest nearby, the food is delicious. Overall, the holiday was not a bad one. I might be tempted to go back mainly because our son enjoyed the theme park and there's lots to do nearby in Devon.
Over priced save ya money
So first of all the first day was excellent. However it would be the last of the good week. On the second day of the holiday there computers went down no body could pay with card. And everything was cash only. But that itself was going to be impossible due to the park only having one cash machine on site. And because there was no internet it did not work. Day three was the same and even the on site shop was closed. So I asked a member of staff where I could get cash from. And the reply ( I’m not sure). Day four good news the internet was was working. So decided to have lunch with my son at the theme park. Got mine and his and we sat down. We got ready to eat and to my surprise may have just eaten directly from the deep fat fryer. The oil was dripping out. We decided not to eat anymore. I complained to a manager and he was like. Well we are still getting up to speed. Useful to know. Useless response. The last day packing up. Now at this site you need to leave by ten. But when you have two children under the age of ten that’s not always possible. So it was really not helpful when one of there staff comes upto you and says in a sarcastic manner do you need a reminder that you need to be of the the pitch by 10am. After this I could not wait to leave. And unless things change I will never return. I have already advised friends and family to think before they go.
I wouldn't recommend visiting if you…
I wouldn't recommend visiting if you have concern about the virus because this place has no social distancing, no cleaning measures and not alot of common sense.
Growing up in Devon, I went to crealy as a kid and now take my own children, but after visiting yesterday, I'm not sure we'll be returning.
There is no social distancing anywhere, however they will limit your entry into most indoor areas so get ready to que alot. I wouldn't mind this if it actually had a benefit to the public, but it doesn't. In the middle indoor play area, with the American style Cafe, your ordered to leave the play area every 30 minutes to go out the exit and back to the front entrance to enter again, immediately. No cleaning takes place so what on earth is the point?
Then you'll be queing for ages for the rides only to be further delayed when people with que jumping passes come along, so you get to que for another 15 minutes! I payed full price for my tickets! Why should I have to wait longer with my frustrated children as they watch grown adults que jump? Made worse by the poorly organised staff who let them do whatever they wanted then told all of us waiting we had to pair up! Shame they couldn't do that for the que jumpers!
The whole experience was awful stressful and dirty. I'd definitely do not recommend until they can get there act together and priorities right!
Nice day out after lockdown #2
We visited the park for my little ones 8th birthday as a surprise for him yesterday after what seems to be a very long lockdown. I feel i had to write a review based on our visit and the fact that Crealy have taken an excellent common sense approach on what rides are open and what rides are closed etc. Due to the limited numbers allowed in the park, at no time did i feel unsafe or at risk and the staff were excellent at explaining what to do what getting on or off the rides etc. I would recommend others not to be apprehensive visiting and go and have a great day out.

After being an annual member for many years today we have been turned away cause we haven’t booked online at no point in time have I been made aware of this as an annual member you just turn up swipe your card and your in the park the worst part about this is they have already started charging members again and I’m still not aloud in the park that I pay for cause I haven’t booked online and haven’t been told about it not even an email you can just imagine the kids faces after waiting in a queue for 20 minutes
