Successful treatment leading to birth of our beautiful daughter. Staff were brilliant and good communication

We've really been so let down by Create Birmingham and even after doing us such a disservice after we've paid them many thousands, they can't even be bothered to respond properly to our formal complaint that we made in July and this is the fobbing off we're still experiencing. We've now made a referral to hfea.
If you're considering using them, please first search on Facebook ivf support groups and you'll see the extraordinary number of distressed patients from create. This is because those comments can't be removed, unlike Google and trust pilot etc.
I also find it fascinating that they have time to respond to the 1 star reviews on here, as I'm sure they will with mine. That leaves me even more intrigued as to why they have time to reply to public exposure but not to private emails. And I await the incongruent publicly attentive reply below...

I can’t praise the whole team at Create Fertility Birmingham highly enough. They guided us through every step of our journey. They were always available to answer any questions. Everyone was so friendly at all our appointments. They made all our dreams come true. Our baby boy born in July 2022.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Although the whole experience was stressful, staff were very friendly and helpful. I found that I wasn't informed completely about the additional costs that may occur, also I wasn't given the option about seeing the on call doctor regarding my asthma and then was charged an extra £200, and the doctor that came to see me had to google the medication and inhaler I was on.

Myself and my partner will be forever grateful to create Birmingham for our little miracle, without there knowledge, care and compassion our IVF journey wouldn’t haven’t been the same, it was tailored to us, we felt support throughout the process. They made what seemed impossible, possible and for that we will never be able to thank them enough.

We spent almost 18 months trying to conceive and it was during the Covid-19 pandemic that we kicked off the investigation process with the NHS. Due to Covid delays, it took almost a year to get all our tests done.
So we decided to go private and approached Create for an initial ultrasound, consultation and semen analysis. We were booked in really quickly and within 6 weeks we were told what our issue was and given a treatment plan.
We decided to wait for NHS funding approval before we proceeded and luckily for us that came about 2 months later and the NHS’ clinic of choice happened to be Create which was fortunate as Create already knew us! We had a few tests to repeat as they had expired due to the time lapse and then we agreed a date to begin and we started the process!
It was not easy - it was a stressful time with a lot of injections and medications. Egg collection went amazing but we had to take a break between that and transfer due to my hormone levels.
We managed to freeze some embryos and we got pregnant on the first frozen transfer! We now have the most beautiful baby boy that has made the entire journey beyond worthwhile.

I cannot thank the Create team enough for their exceptional level of care. Every single step of the way, the team at Create were brilliant. From the reception team through to the consultants that performed all the procedures! They even maintained a level of consistency so I tended to see the same faces through my appointment. We hadn’t known anyone who had undergone IVF in the past so we didn’t 100% know what to expect at each stage but they kept us informed and educated on what they were doing now, and what they would do next.

I would recommend Create to anyone on this difficult journey and now holding my beautiful baby, I wish the same happiness on everyone!

My wife and I had reciprocal IVF at Create Birmingham. We have had 2 embryo transfers and have 2 beautiful sons as a result. We have been so pleased with the professionalism and quality of care from the staff at Create and we would definitely recommend the clinic!

Create fertility were amazing. They were companionate towards myself and my husband. They were informative every step of our process.
We are now very proud to announce that I got pregnant on our 1st round of Mild ICSI IVF.

Very friendly and professional team, from the receptionists to the doctors and nurses. We had a very good experience with the doctor and were explained the treatment options. We were lucky to have beem referred via NHS and thankfully have a successful pregnancy in our first cycle.

The nurses were very helpful in answering any questions that I had and were very reassuring when I was experiencing some moderate side effects from the treatment. They would follow an email query with a phone call which was always unexpected but very welcome and reassuring.

Overall, we have had a great experience. Thank you Create team, for all the hard work you do and the quality of care you provide.

We want to thank all the staff and team at CREATE. Although we had few eggs and ended up with 2 embryos only, first embryo transfer was successful for us. All thanks to the doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff for their help and support during our most difficult time. We have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy after 9 years of infertility.

I would highly recommend Create. I was under the Birmingham clinic ans did some of my tests in the Oxford Clinic. They supported us for 3 years and we now have our beautiful rainbow baby. Special thanks to Dr Felix and Bridget the nurse in Oxford

We can’t even begin to tell you how grateful we are to Create Fertility (Birmingham). From our very first appointment we were no long a number in a never ending list but a couple longing to become parents in a caring and incomparable environment.

Create gave us every confidence with their support and impeccable guidance that we are now so proud and overwhelmed to welcome our baby girl born 22.03.22.

All the care staff were so kind, caring and supportive to us through our whole ivf journey. No question was to big or small there was always someone on hand on the phone to give you the answer. From the start we were given all the information that was essential to make the right decisions about the treatment we wanted. We had regular appointments and were kept fully up to date on progress and next steps.

I cannot fault the outcome of the treatment that I received. However, I did feel along the way that it was quite impersonal. Throughout the appointments I had at the clinic, I never saw the same person twice and so was unable to form any kind of relationship with anyone where you really felt like they were invested in your care.
I had naively thought that the consultant, who our initial consultation was with, may have been involved at some point in the actual treatment but actually, we never heard from or saw them again after the initial zoom consultation.
Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic used during egg collection and deteriorated throughout the day afterwards. This wasn’t picked up whilst there and I felt like I was discharged from the clinic too quickly after the surgery, with my husband saying I was pretty delirious when he picked me up. It was clear that they needed the bed and so I had to leave.
The cleanliness of the clinic and protocol were all great. It would just have been nice to have had a little bit more of the ‘human touch’ along the way.

NHS was a complete waste of time and the worst experience we had. Create Fertility came to the rescue and 9 months later, bingo!

I really like the female friendly approach to IVF that Create take, we did mild IVF and it all seemed very manageable and not too overwhelming because I only had a few days of injections. The appointments were well organised and all the staff at the clinic were friendly. I sometimes felt like there was a bit of a miscommunication in expectations which could be quite difficult during such an emotional process, but it’s very difficult for them to make accurate predictions when everyone’s experience is so unique. Overall I was really pleased with my experience at Create, and we will certainly be going back when we decide to try to expand our family.
