Reasonably easy to use but be warned. You can only delete companies on your watchlist one at a time, which is a major pain, so you slowly accumulate a lot of companies. They then charge accordingly.... See more

Good but flawed
I've been a Credit Focus user for 6 years or so and have found the information contained useful as current as other credit rating sources I have access to.
The main issue is have is the limited financials displayed. There are "free" sites that have more historical financial information available.

Quick, Accurate and easy to use!
I've been using creditfocus for almost 3 years and its very good. I always seen able to find the companies I'm looking for. Creditfocus sends changes in status of companies I choose to monitor. Whats not to like.

Collecting monies
Ok, I have used creditFocus for a while now and on the basis of checking contractors credit is a reasonable system, But when it is taken further into solicitors hands the costs go up dramatically and the system doesn't work, the ultimate goal is to retrieve monies owed by clients who have not paid the bill.It goes through to court the its sent to the Sheriff to then take action on the client who has not paid, their is no tracking down and very little effort actually going in to retrieve monies owed.Example collectors had been to same address 5 times with no results and then decided to close account until further notice from myself to gain further information and with in 15minutes i managed to get a 2nd trading address to go and check with only online information already present on the system. We are paying high rates of money for little effort.

OK, but service has gotten slower
We have been using Credit Focus for 9 years now. The service is great for just doing a quick credit check and getting financial info on perspective clients, however using the Solicitors sending facility has gotten awful over the last couple of years. It takes about a week for the solicitors to actually send out a letter than when you requested it. Not really good when it hits cash flow.

Perfect Tool for my business
Credit focus is a tool my business couldn't do without. It makes qualifying customers pre contract that much easier. It means that I have the ability to source contracts based on the customers credit rating which reduces failures....top product does what it is meant too.
