My friend and I had a lovely afternoon learning how to make our own stained glass sun catchers. Gill was very welcoming, patient and an excellent tutor. We both thoroughly enjoyed the process and we were proud to take our finished work home. I would highly recommend Crescent Glass and Gill.

Just completed the two day stained glass course and thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the course was going to be easy, but found some of the processes to be challenging and you cannot afford to make to any mistakes when laying out your design.
Gill was always on hand to provide expert guidance.

Went to the Angel workshop with a friend and we both had a great time. Lovely friendly and relaxing day with the added bonus of some homemade decorations to bring away with us.

My wife and family bought me the Copper Foiling & Glass Fusion trial day and what a great experience it was, and what a relaxing day!!!! Great fun, everything provided, and with some Xmas presents to give to the family at the end of it!! I would certainly recommend it - may try one of the stained glass courses next!!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the beginners class where we learnt how to cut the glass, foil it and solder the pieces together. Gillian was very patient and explained everything very well . Will definitely be going again!

My husband and I did the 2 day stained glass course this week, and really enjoyed it. Gillian is a very patient and skilled teacher, and we had a variety of group and individual tuition. We had the opportunity to be as creative as we felt comfortable with, with Gillian's guidance and support on hand at all times. We both have a stained glass window to bring home, and are looking forward to coming back for some further courses. Thank you Gillian

Really relaxing event, with lovely teacher.

I booked the full day taster for my wife and I as a wedding anniversary gift. Neither of us had done anything like this before and didn't really know just what to expect. There were four of us on the course and it was a nice atmosphere. Gillian was lovely and I think we all felt at ease right from the start. Gillian is friendly and knowledgeable, explains things well and is helpful.
We each produced a glass suncatcher by glass cutting, foiling and soldering. Each piece looked good and we were all pleased with our efforts. The latter part of the afternoon allowed us time to design and prepare a glass tile ready for fusing in the kiln.
It was all thoroughly satisfying and enjoyable.
Gillian also kindly took my wife's dietary requirements into consideration in her choice if biscuits. Absolutely brilliant.

2 day stained glass introduction.

Great way to spend a weekend. Good instruction and small group to ensure as much support as is needed.

Would highly recommend giving it a go.

Had a lovely day. Learnt a lot about glass fusing it was engrossing. Made loads of items during the day & the teacher was great, explained everything & really helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Others to give it a go.

Lovely day creating stained glass and fused glass, with instruction for my “absolute beginner” status from the ever-helpful Gillian. Friendly atmosphere and hospitality in her well-equipped studio. Highly recommended!

Loved the glass mosaic course! Gillian explained everything really well and was so friendly and made lots of tea all day! It was a such a lovely way to spend a day, meet new people and do something creative and fun. I ended up with 4 beautiful mosaic coasters and am looking forward to another course with Crescent Glass.

My second visit to Crescent Glass, this time for a beginner's glass fusing. What a superb experience, Gill makes everything so clear and helps with design but was still courteous enough to allow me to make my less than wonderful designs. A great day!

My friend suggested this course as something different from our usual days out. What a wonderful time we had. After being shown by Gill how to cut glass in different shapes, we got to work on our first project - a butterfly. Choosing and cutting different pieces of coloured glass was followed by smoothing the edges and eventually soldering everything together and hey presto we had beautiful beasts completed. Having thought that would be the extent of our delight we spent the afternoon designing and making a set of swizzle sticks and a small bird. These are to be fired later in the kiln. If you are looking for something creative and different for a day out this is the best thing ever. Thank you Gill

I’ve never worked in this media before but throughly enjoyed myself, I did need a some help because my hands don’t grip very well and I have no feeling in the tips, but, Gill, our tutor helped and encouraged me.
I made a butterfly which now hangs in my window.
My friend and I are hoping to go back for a full day.
I loved it as we worked to our own speed with no pressure just help.

A very interesting and productive day, so much to see, try and learn.Good instructions, explanations and demonstrations, thoroughly enjoyed it and am already looking forward to a second session.

Loved making the Angels. Gillian was very helpful and explained the technique very well. I will be going back to try some more glasswork in the New Year.

I had a fabulous day making stained glass Christmas angels. I hadn't tried copper foiling before but the instructions and demos were so clear that I wasn't t all hesitant to have a go. I'm really pleased with the way they turned out and can't wait to go back to make a start on my much bigger piece.

Went on a taster day just before Christmas and had a fabulous time making Christmas themed glass items. Gill was very helpful and gave us tips on how to get the best out of our experience and our time there. Would highly recommend for a great day.
