A very enjoyable day with expert tuition from Gillian in a friendly studio. Well laid out with excellent covid precautions. Going back for more!

Excellent workshop (and classes). You can go at your own pace and learn lots of different things from Gill and each other, plus test yourself whilst having fun. Would definitely recommend

I booked on to do the Christmas angels and had a lovely day! It was fun to do in a relaxing environment and big thanks to Gill for making us feel capable even when we doubted our abilities! Six beautiful angels to take home too!

Did a taster day with Gill had a fabulous time Gill was so easy to get along with and her teaching skills are great, made a copper foil sun catcher in the morning and glass fusing in the afternoon.
I'm looking forward to more glass work.

This was the most enjoyable morning I have had in a long time. Gill's instructions were easy to follow. She was patience personified and let us create our 'piece of art' but stepped in when we needed help. The room was nicely laid out and each participant had our own set of tools. Much to my amazement, at the end of the class I came away with a sun catcher in the shape of a butterfly. I enjoyed the class so much I will be booking another class and bringing a friend. I would definitely recommend Crescent Glass. Thank you for a great day Gill!

Spent a day at the studio with a small group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a complete beginner and not very creative I was apprehensive at first but Gillian put me at ease and gave me confidence to try new things and gave tips and advice on how to create wonderful fused glass ornaments. Earlier this year I attended a Glass Fusing full day workshop with a few friends as a complete beginner and left with a fresh insight into Glass Fusing and all that it offers!
Gillian gave us the confidence to cut glass of all colours and design our individual pieces with her tuition.
It was exciting to see all our work laid out ready to be tacked in the kiln and I was very pleased with the end results.
A great way to create a new skill with friends in an informed way,

I have attended one of the evening classes for three years. It's a great way to learn a new skill in a sociable & friendly atmosphere. After the initial training, cutting glass to the correct shape quickly becomes very addictive! Gill will help with all aspects of your work from design & construct to how to display your finished pieces. I've made, fused, copper foiled & mosaic objects & have been amazed at how good the completed work looks. I thoroughly recommend that you give it a try!

I arranged a group (4 friends and myself) and we booked a day with Crescent Glass, and non of the 5 of us had ever worked with glass before. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day and would certainly book another class. It is amazing where the time goes when you are engrossed in cutting the glass and designing your own pieces and then to see the end result. We all did really well and personally I loved the day.

Gillian is an excellent teacher and it was great that she explained the process to us and then left us to do our own designs and kept checking on us individually and offering help and advice.

It is definitely worth booking the full day.

We brought our two daughters here for a family workshop. All four of us had a fabulous time making stained glass birds and having a go at glass fusing. We now have a lovely work of art on our wall that we all contributed to. Gill is a great teacher who worked well with kids and unskilled adults! A positive, fun experience for all.
