Rich from Custom Fit Guards was absolutely amazing in this process. I am in South Africa and they are in England, managed to get it produced in a short time, and shipping took 2 business days. He organised that we could ship with DHL by my request and answered every single question within 8 hours of sending a mail throughout the entire process. Very very pleased with this experience. The product is also very nice and comfortable with nice soft silicone

I’ve now bought two sets of plugs from these guys, one for the motorbikes which I had a home visit and 1 one set for work, both work as intended, I have tinnitus and find if I don’t use them while riding the tinnitus is much worse, I recently lost one of the dual filters! But a quick email to them and Rich popped the replacement in the post, Great company, always quick to respond, thanks guys

I purchased the CF Autos after seeing an Instagram review from @midlandsmotorbikers, prior to the CF Autos I was using an alternative plug that caused some ear pain during long rides.. so made the decision to go for the autos (I originally chose the motos, but after a conversation with Ash, I could see the benefits of the Auto!).

having my ears moulded was a pleasure and super straight forward (I went to their office as I'm fairly local) and was talked fully through the process from start to finish. They definitely know their stuff!

Having received them, I will use no other. they are super comfortable and do exactly what they say they will.
Wind noise - Gone!
Intercom - Audible!
Road noise (surrounding) - Audible!

10/10, 5/5 - whatever scale you use, I 100% recommend!

Purchased CF auto ear guards online, having had them professionally fitted by a local audiologist. They were well made and exactly to spec. Ear guards do take some getting used to but are easy to fit once familiar. I find them very comfortable for long journeys as they don’t ‘expand’ against the inner ear, like foam type plugs do and offer great awareness of surroundings when commuting, plus ability to use intercom, phone and music etc. Personally, I found the CF auto slightly too loud for long motorway journeys BUT - you must factor in variables like your bike, screen and helmet, which all contribute to noise. I found communication with the company to be excellent via email, I reached out to them with a a query and Rich kindly sent some additional inserts to try which offer greater sound reduction, plus other options. I am yet to try this, but you can’t put a price on your hearing and I would recommend this product.

Had an issue with my CF guards (had them a while)- contacted the company. Richard came straight back and said although its outside warranty it's not a big job so send them back and we'll do it for free and add something to make sure it doesn't happen again for you.

I have been using custom fit CF guards for nearly a year now, really comfortable and easy to use and do actually soften up a bit after a few wears, I did manage to loose an insert from the cf guards while cleaning and they kindly replaced it quickly, great product great service 🙏

My set have failed twice now which I believe is due to quality of build, the central electronic part disconnects or comes unstuck, first time I paid for the repair second time I was asked for a further £150 to repair as it’s my fault I lost the part that failed and fell out in a field! They told me this is “just bad luck”
I’ll be getting the slightly more expensive better quality CENS, it will be cheaper in the long run.

Awful product, uncomfortable to wear. Returned for revision which came back the same. Refused to refund me. Complete waste of over £100. Avoid this company.

For me the fit is great.I have used the ear guards for motorcycling for a few years now.I was sceptical to start with on how they would perform but they work really well .I find they kill all the noise you don't want to hear on a bike like ,loud wind, whistles from vents and chunky gear boxes noises.makes the experience a lot more pleasant.

I have used this company for a few years now, I have bought multiple products for industrial and motorcycle use. They are great communicators and extremely helpful when I have needed anything or advice. I have recommended to family and colleagues.

I ordered a pair of Digi guards at the beginning of 2025 and never received them, rich was very quick to respond until I bought the guards however once the money was paid this stopped.
I never received the guards but had loads of trouble getting my money back. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

Genuinely underwhelmed and disappointed with the product.

Bought the CF Ride headphones in black and chose the Bluetooth (additional £30) option as I have an iPhone and, from what I could read, their jacks don't fit them. I paid £35 for a home visit and an extra £20 for filters as well as an additional £60 for a single 8mm speakers. So, in total, they were £324 (or something very close). This is more than I have paid for any other earphones previously: I have Bose and B&O.

They arrived with a neckband (ie the Bluetooth option) which isn't something they show on the website. I am unsure as to why this is a good idea for when you have to put it under the back of your bike helmet as well as potentially under some form of snood or neck warmer? Itlooks, and feels, cheap. Part of this is the Bluetooth 'voice' of the system: it sounds cheap and cobbled together. An example of this is that it has two different voices: one for when it says 'Power on' and one for when it says 'Bluetooth mode'. I have listened to items bought by friend from the fake markets in both Bangkok and Beijing when they have come back from being on holiday and these earphones sound cheaper. (Also, the buttons controls are tiny and I am unsure as to how they are appropriate and fit for purpose when using motorbiking gloves?)

When I took the earphones out of the packet for only the second time today the bespoke moudling has already started to rip and fall apart. The small case that is sent with them is actually too small for the earphones with the neckband attached to fit inside so I am unsure as to its purpose for this particular product?

I am saddened to say that this is a very badly made - and designed - product. It is vastly overpriced - they are actually more expensive than my other earphones combined! I sincerely wish I knew what I was buying beforehand and had not wasted my money on these earphones. I strongly recommend not buying them based on the product provided to me.

Contacted customer services we a query regarding filters for a set of CF Drivers I have owned for a number of years - Quick response to the query via email and after a few more emails back and forth they were able to find a solution.

Simple and efficient is all I can say.

I placed my order mid December 2024 with the fitting appointment scheduled for early January. During the appointment they said I would receive the product in 4-6 weeks.

After 6 weeks I emailed them asking for an update. At first they asked for proof of my January appointment because they couldn't find it. Then rescinded that and said their was an issue with the printing and they would be ready the following week.

One week later they sent an email explaining they did not have the filters I ordered in stock but would send out the guards with different filters and then send out the V2 filters when they arrive.

6 weeks later I receive a package with the wrong filters. And they have removed the filters I had ordered from their website.

I am now waiting for a response...

Sorry, I can’t review based on the product as I’m still waiting on them arriving, was bought them as a gift for Christmas, impressions taken in November and sent to custom for guards on 18th November 2024, as of today, 3rd February 2025 still haven’t received my custom fit guards.

Now sitting at 11weeks and still no item.

I’ve been really excited to get using my CFG’s however now after an 11 week wait it’s been totally tainted.

Will hopefully be able to update my review when they actually arrive.

My partner has had to keep chasing for updates from CFG.

Very pleasant, efficient and genuinely nice staff, an all round positive experience dealing with them. Dealt with my inquiry about my CF Switch plugs very quickly. I would not hesitate to shop at Custom-fit guards again, highly recommend.

Do t buy from the I purchased a pair of cf digi ear defenders in 2016 after approx 15 months and out of warranty they stopped working the repair cost me £88 approx.
Since then they have been in twice for repairs each time costing me £90 and the last time they broke was 20 months ago it took them 3 months to return them.
They have now stopped working again I am in considering now binning them and using another company.
If there product is so good why don't they have at least a 3 year warranty.
