Well what can I say? Other than fantastic service from start to finish the guys were so helpful and the guards are absolutely perfect highly recommend and will definitely use again thanks guys

First class service from start to finish ordering my motorcycle ear plugs.
Good communication as order progressed. Nice packaging.
Not cheap but the price seems to be fairly standard wherever you go.

Just purchased a pair of custom ear guards for motorcycling. Just want to say a massive thank you to Rich and Ash for a wonderful buying experience! Right from the beginning to the end the communication and customer service was outstanding! Definitely recommend!

Lasted 4 years then the components failed. Returned them at my cost (fair enough) to be told it would cost me another £180 to repair but no warranty would be given on the repair. Or I could purchase another new pair with 15% off. I asked for them to be returned and they told me they would invoice me for the return postage.

"Don't bother, keep them"

I'm pretty disappointed to be honest, they are not cheap by any means.

I would recommend you buy a set of Swatcoms with your hard earned money, they will be cheaper than CFG's and they will probably last longer. Even if they fail you get a 5 year warranty on the components. After 5 years it will cost £70 to repair, which will also come with a warranty.

Excellent and fast service for my ear profile being taken, then a fast service of them being made and delivered over the course of about 3/4 weeks from start to finish. Also absolutely perfect customer service. As well as this, the product itself is incredible for what I do, shooting.

I heard about these from from another biker and as I had trouble with the normal ear protection, so thought I would look into them, I was not disappointed! Despite making an error with the order, I emailed and found Rich to be most helpful. He sorted out the issue and I have now received these, what a difference in both the comfort and the protection they provide. Well worth the wait and cost. Thanks

Booked in as needed new set ear defenders when I rang up person I spoke to was excellent and booked me in. When I went for appointment it was the same excellent Customer Service and very helpful and well explained also very welcoming. I was also impressed how they keep you updated with how order is proceeding and I am looking forward to receiving. All in all a fantastic Company going the extra mile to ensure excellent Customer Service and I would Highly Recommend to use this Company

Fantastic service.
Their operative came to my home and took impressions in a few minutes. I received regular emails regarding the manufacturing process. Arrived well packaged and they are super comfortable and super quiet. Highly recommend for motorcycling.

These are brilliant earphones for riding a motorbike.
I purchased a new set after losing the previous one; ordering was quick and easy. I wore them for 8 to 9 hours per day for 4 days while travelling across the hills of Spain on and off-road; it is worth upgrading to the two-speaker system and getting the Bluetooth version. The battery lasted all day. The sound quality was very good, and they have great dynamic range. Getting your helmet on and off is easy and does not affect the earphones. I am delighted with them.

I now have 4 sets so I am never without them , please don't be put of by the process it takes a few minutes and the guy that came to mould my ears couldn't have been friendlier. No more headaches after a day shooting, no big cans on your head ! Absolutely perfect product at a very fair price. Highly recommended.

First used GFG in 2021 using the home visit mould service. The custom fitted plugs I received shortly after are a perfect fit. Have worn them on multiple long day bike rides with no issues.

So when I booked a week long motorbike trip I decided to upgrade to the Bluetooth version. Having first emailed CFG to make sure they could do them in the time frame. As expected CFG responded quickly saying it wouldn't be an issue.

During the whole process I received updates of the stages my ear plugs were at during the manufacturing process. However, it looked like they would be ready for delivery whilst I was out of the country with work.

Quick email to CFG asking if the could delay delivery until my return also wasn't a problem. My trip away with work was extended to the point where it only left a 2 day window from me arriving home and departing on my motorbike trip abroad.

Quick phone call later and CFG said they would get my new earplugs to me before I went. As promised, the following day the postman knocked on thr door with my delivery.

The new Bluetooth earphones fit perfect and are great for listening to music whilst riding. They're that comfortable you forget that your wearing them.

I've recommended CFG to a number of friends who are looking at buying some custom fitted ear plugs rather than the cheap foam ones.

The order process was a dream, I got my own moulds done with a local business, sent them up to CFG and they returned my moulds with my order. I have the CF Switch and they work fantastically and are very comfy for extended use. Would highly recommend!

Ordered a basic set for use with my motorbike to get away from disposable earplugs. No intercom required.
A chap visited my home address, that part of the service was flawless when he took the impressions. I knew what the rough turnaround was for receiving my product so no issue there either.
The the products arrived I was underwhelmed by the packaging, and protective case, which protected the products themselves appeared to have little thought put into it so much so ot felt like it was crushing my new earplugs.
I decided to take them out for a test ride. The first thing i noticed was that i could hear my motorcycle exhaust sound more loudly on tick over, thinking nothing more of it I set off. Around 15 minites later I had to pull over and swap over for my disposables again due to a headache and ringing ears.
The earplugs will suffice for using my lawnmower nothing more.

I have had custom fit guards motorcycle ear plugs for 2 years great fit and the service was excellent as was the after sales. so good just ordered another spare pair

Felt the company to be very helpful throughout the whole process, reply to emails quickly and keep you posted through certain points of production to delivery.

Please anyone thinking of buying these ear defenders for shooting save your money and go somewhere else. I am now on the 2nd lot the first lot cost me £300 and when they broke I paid another £123 for the repairs. They sent me a new set of ear plugs that not only don't fit very well they have also now broken after less than 6 months. Just do yourselves a favour and go to another retailer £423 down and just 2 useless pieces of silicon to show for it.

Short story first - even their higher-end headphones sound worse than a £5 headphones from poundland.

I'm dissapointed that in terms of noise blocking and sound quality I had to revert back to £40 ear monitors from Amazon.

The guys atleast tried to send replacements, but every next pair was worse in terms of quality and sound than previous ones, so I just gave up.

After the Bluetooth guards arrived (with some chasing up), the packaging felt a bit inferior - put in a plastic bag and box. No instructions. No biggy though, I was pleased to have them in time for a few more weeks of the summer.

Upon using them I realised that they weren't fit for purpose. They blocked little to no wind noise. I've used Ultimate Ear and ACS before and so knew what to expect and how to insert them. After some discussion, Custom Fit said to send them back to 'double dip them'. I was skeptical as to whether this would do the job but sent them back anyway.

They arrived back and were no better. I chose Custom Fit as I wanted the option to be able to remove the electronics and replace with filters should I wish. So, they then sealed the earbud speakers into the earplug to stop the wind. I reluctantly accepted this although I probably would have bought ACS if I wanted this design. I don't understand why they offer this design if it doesn't work. Perhaps mine were mis-moulded.

The altered units eventually arrived back in September and I was now away for a few months so frustratingly had missed the biking season.

I looked forward to using the earbuds properly on a biking tour in Thailand (where I am now).

Although better now sealed, the right earbud continuously slides out of my ear making them near to useless. I suppose they would be OK on a plane but just dangerous for a tinnitus sufferer to use on a motorcycle as wind noise is loud when they slip out. My Jabra earbuds actually block wind nose better than these.

## I've edited this review as to be fair, they have just offered to do a new open jaw impression and remake them. They did also say this was the next thing they would do in a past email.

I guess that may solve the issue but given the time wasted it has all been a little frustrating. £247 is a lot of money and given the cost I would have expected a higher quality of product and more streamlined customer service.

Terrible build quality and repair times take months.

I was bought a pair of the electronic guards for shooting and they have broken three times. They always broke well within a year of purchase or repair.

The first time the electronics broke and it took MONTHS to be repaired and returned. The second time was the same after less than a year of use and they asked me to “upgrade” to a new model and charged me £50. It took weeks to turn up and broke within six months, this time the plastic fascia broke off while performing a routine battery replacement.

I asked them to suggest a solution and instead of offering a free repair on what was a de facto new product they asked if I had dropped them and offered only to cover postage.

Other reviews here bear out my own experience. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Sad that a British company can’t produce a quality product and support it, but don’t waste your money unless they make the effort to improve their build quality and post sales service by some margin.

Decent enough product while it was working. First set failed after a couple of months and to be fair they were replaced with a similar product. Had to wait abt 6 weeks.
Replacement set also only lasted around 3 months befor failing. CFG did not want to know as now out of warranty.
Ultimately the quality of products is not good.
