I was skeptical that it would make any difference to my window. I live in a C17 building with single-glazed sash windows, overlooking a busy/noisy high street. Whilst the sound is still there, it's very much dulled, and I can sleep all night without being woken by revellers and early morning bin emptying! My windows are very wonky due to their age, but I worked around this with the magnetic tape. You'd barely notice the perspex was there unless you really looked. My only gripe is the edges are VERY sharp, and my hands got shredded from the sheet dropping through them, so wear gloves!

Excellent product for reducing traffic noise, used one sheet of 4mm as a secondary glazing panel, easy DIY job which only took a couple of hours. Only criticism is that there were a couple of scratches 1" or 2" long near the middle of the pane, but overall good value for money.

The 5mm panels are of good quality and the polished edges give a great finish. Magnetic tape super easy to fit. As well as insulating against the cold they give the added benefit of noise reduction. Would definitely recommend.
