I started by buying enough for windows in one room. The effect on draught reduction and heat retention was dramatic so I quickly bought more for another room. There are some caveats though. It is likely that most purchasers of this will be in older houses. I measured the base of the window frame and the height. Both my measurements and the measurements of the product were 100% accurate, but I hadn't reckoned on the windows being a couple of mm narrower at the top so I had to do a bit of trimming to get them to fit. (A multi tool does the job but you don't get the nice polished edge where you've trimmed). I'd learnt my lesson for the second order which were perfect. The other lesson was that I didn't notice on my second order that the number of sheets carried over from one set of measurements to the next so I accidentally ordered 2 of everything when I only needed one of some. I was too busy checking to make sure that I hadn't made any mistakes on the measurements to notice. Obviously totally my fault but worth noting.
