Avoid Denplan at all cost. Correct. Do your research first, their are better companies out there than Denplan, they have difficulty in communication with its clients.Read Denplan Trustpilot. and be enlighten of what this lot get up to. One star is tooooo good!! for them
You will notice if you call them, firstly talk to our voice mail answer phone, go on line, we will call you back!!!, anything but talk to a human. You the client. Read the Trustpoint review's for Denplan..Not good!! 17% very bad very bad !!

I waited over 25 minutes for them to answer the phone.., If you want ping pong dentistry, this is the company for you. Most question to them are meet with, we suggest you talk with your dentist. and the dentist in turn says, best talk with Denplan. So both ends to the middle.
Make sure you get what you pay for, like a yearly
x-ray, which I think just gets forgotten about (saves money) this is where your teeth problems are picked up of course.before they start to ache!!!X Rays are very important even in 2025 !!! Don't let the dentist tell you otherwise!!
I have now changed my dentist, they picked up a problem straight away via the x-ray. my Denplan guy did not!! if your paying a lot of money make sure the dentist is doing his job properly.
Beware if you have a full set of teeth 32 or less, and you partner /wife has only 8 you will pay the same amount of money each month,which does not seem correct to me,
Keep an eye on the dentist and ask to see a new contract every year no matter what company your with. if you have teeth taken out why should you pay the same amount of money?? Ask more question of the dentist, why because their hiding behind Denplan.
My partner has stayed with them although they deleted us both for the payments scheme, That's efficacy for you. They told my dentist your both off the books, and told me just myself off the books.
Yet another phone call to put that right!!
They really can't be trusted to carry out the simplest of protcalls can they.
Research companies offering this service, along with the dentist of choice, ask question, make your money work for you, if you have health insurance see what that would add in cost to go that route.
I trust my thoughts' on the concept of private dentistry will be helpful to all WHO READ IT....

Denplan found me an emergency appointment. They made contact arrangements and stuck to them. Brilliant response to an emergency situation. Contacted my usual dentist (on holiday) and agreed a way forward. So grateful for their efforts. Thank you.

Further nonsense. Denplan complaints contact me today and confirm they failed to cancel the policy in August. This puts them in breach of the 14 day cooling off period they are legally required to adhere to! They then processed the application mid October in error and now I have to go to the bank to cancel the direct debit that they incorrectly set up. They do not give a damn what inconvenience they cause. They just make excuses for their incompetence. They clearly have serious issues internally.
-They list dentists that have asked to be removed
- When you contact them they initially deny you took out a policy with them you have to read out their confirmation email!
- 2.5 months to process something that was cancelled. They have therefore breached the 14 day cooling off period. They just gloss over that!!

Terrible experience. My dentist closed and so I needed support to move to another dentist. For over 4 weeks I have been emailing for support and getting the same response asking me for name, address, registration number etc, every 3 days they ask for the same information again rather than looking in to the query which involves them refunding me some money for taking payment for services the dentist could not carry out. I am sure there would be a quicker and more informed response if I wanted to give them money.
