Great! I had dark patches after having a baby and this cleared it right up, I used it every other day as it did peel my skin slightly with every day use, but im sure if I questioned this then would had adjusted my treatment, it worked so well using every other day I didnt bother saying anything, left my skin even toned and shining, did break me out in spots the first week and then after that I had glass skin!!

I had a really disappointing experience with Dermatica and feel others should be aware before using their service.
I was prescribed a formula containing Azelaic Acid 15% and Adapalene 0.1%, which caused significant redness, peeling, and irritation. What’s frustrating is not just the reaction itself, but how it was handled. After reporting the issue, I was initially told I could resume using the product at a lower dose after a short break. Later, during the complaint process, they claimed the reaction was due to “overuse” and that my skin barrier had been compromised.
This is completely inconsistent. If the product had already caused that level of damage, why was I advised to restart it at all? That guidance clearly made things worse.
They also tried to shift responsibility by mentioning things like SPF use, which feels like avoiding accountability rather than addressing the core issue—unsafe or unclear instructions and poor follow-up advice.
In the end, my complaint was not upheld, despite clear evidence and a prolonged back-and-forth over months. The response felt dismissive and overly defensive, rather than genuinely concerned about patient safety.
Overall, I’ve lost trust in their clinical advice and would not recommend this service to anyone considering personalised skincare treatment.

As a returning customer to Dermatica…
As a returning customer to Dermatica after a significant amount of months taking a break. I was asked to take those 3 facial photos and told I would have to start again on the weaker solution. Fine not a problem! However, they refused to give me the introductory price of £2.90 but lightning quick to debit my card for £24.99. When I emailed to asked for the introductory price I was told it’s only available to new customers.
My gripe is there are plenty of companies that offer a very similar prescription treatment of tretinoin. No account for loyalty and a seemingly condescending tone of their customer service does not bode well when considering if to refer a friend which undoubtedly increases their profits.

Best place to get Tretinoin prescribed. I've been using Dermatica for nearly a year and I get my prescription on time no fuss. the tube lasts longer than a month and my skin looks so much better. When I thought i was ready to increase the strength of the prescription, I discussed it with the dermatologists at Dermatica and my strength was increased no issues. currently on 0.1% tretinoin with two other compounds in it. It's great. I used to have bad seb derm and my skin now is FLAWLESS. I've also referred over 35 people over to Dermatica so far and many have told me they're benefiting from the product.

I am 38 and am looking to reduce fine lines & signs of aging. I used to order 0.1% tretinoin from a Spanish pharmacy, but unfortunately due to stricter rules and regulations, they no longer do this. I spent quite awhile looking for an alternative option to get tret into the UK, and I decided to try Dermatica after I received a referral offer for a discounted first month to trial it… I honestly was not expecting to stick with it, as I felt the regular monthly price was quite expensive for my budget, but I was curious to try.
However… I noticed results very quickly, it was even more effective than all of the other retinoids & even other tret creams I’ve been using over my lifetime. I have decided to stick with it, (I’ve been using it since December 2025 on 0.05% with niancinamide). I have instead stopped weaker retinoid & retinal creams, expensive facemasks etc. to save money to afford this subscription. It’s also saved me a bunch of time shopping around on skincare, when this is really the gold standard of good skincare. If you follow the science, it leads here.

False advertising
Where do I start? I have been having constant issues with them ever since I joined in March 2024. I placed my 1st order whilst they had a promotion. I got my first prescription with 0.025% tretinoin at £2.49. Next month they sent me another batch but increased tretinoin to 0.05% without my consent.
They claim they have expert dermatologists that make up the formula, if that’s the case they would know not to prescribe a higher dose afyer using 4 weeks of 0.025%. They took £15.49 out of my account for this.
After this I put my account on hold as my skin reacted strongly to this, I was aldo not happy with them and their lack of customer service.
This year in Feb 2026, I decided to give them another chance thinking by now they have improved their customer service. I was wrong, I emailed the to say I want to resume again. My dashboard showed 1st, 2nd and 3rd treatment would be at £15.49 (i took screenshot as evidence). I paid £15.49 in Feb 2026 for my formula which did not arrive at all. Emailed them, they couldn’t find tracking order, sent another one out for next day.
Asked them my 2nd and3rd treatment should be st £15.49 as per my dashboard. They refused and changed my dashboard status saying I have used up all my discount but that is not what was shown on my dashboard. Emailed them several times about this with my evidence but they are refusing to listen. They keep emailing me back saying they meant 3 treatments in total which is not what my dashboard stated. Still waiting to hear back, been over 2 weeks!

I’ve been using Dermatica about a year now and so far it’s been great. The treatment plan I’m on has been very good and I can see major improvements with my skin. I would recommend Dermatica to everyone, the treatment is tailored to your specific skin type and needs. Also, the customer service they provide is very professional and helpful.

Whilst I initially felt worried about not being consulted in person about my skin concerns, the steps from my initial photos to 3 months of treatment has been seamless! The product recommended has been the most effective out of everything I've ever tried and I can enjoy a new-found skin confidence (after battling issues for 15 years).
