Every time they are late with the…

Every time they are late with the delivery even I pay express delivery so I receive the message for delivery and then they are late with two or three days or they’re telling me : you have been contacted and then put the package in the locker without contacting me !!! so is the last time I use the DHL Bad service ( about 10 times )

Even one star is too much for DHL…

Even one star is too much for DHL Romania. From UAE to Romania it took only 1 day for my parcel to arrive. Since 5 days ago my shipment is stuck because DHL Romania did not bother to do the custom papers. They are constantly blaming the custom for the delay but when I checked it is DHL representative who must fill in the papers. The custom inspector cannot provide clearance if the papers are not done. So DHL Romania is not only inconsiderate and lazy, they are also liars. Avoid them forever

I’m here to rate customer care experience. Claudia Andreişan from the Call Centre helped me a lot. This is my form of thanking her for explaining everything that i needed to hear about from A to Z. She was very patience, caring and nice overall. She is very good at what she does. RAISE HER SALARY!!

DHL Romania very Bad service

DHL Romania very Bad service, I paid express delivery urgently for a pair of shoes from London to Bucharest, very high price and in Bucharest is blocked through customs and waiting for delivery all weekend since Thursday….no respect for customers….

Unnecessary delays

Parcel arrived in Bucharest with customs info prefilled by me and full rights for DHL to hand over the customs process - as they said this would be faster without any delays. It took one day, Monday, to get customs clearance and next day, Tuesday, should've been delivered to me. When I called in Tuesday due to lack of updates they said that although the package was cleared by customs, they were missing the paperwork from customs (???). When I called them later they said the package will be delivered the next day, Wednesday, instead. They hadn't even picked it up from customs so I couldn't get it myself. 0 proactive communication and seems like made up excuses to me. This is just lazy for a seemingly premium service.

DHL - I do not recommend this company

I do not recommend this company. I have delivered a medicine package Romania - Salalah , Oman from Nov 14th and we are on Nov 21st and the package din not arrived to destination - a vessel coming into port for one day , even if the package arrived in Salalah from Nov 20th.. explanation they are on holiday till 24th and they do not care that the client lost the medicine...
We pay so much amount for express delivery and they are worst than any other delivery company , including post office .
Very bad experience..
Meantime, a person will remain without medicine becose of those DHL birocracy.
I pray nothing negative will happened otherwise they must respond why they lie the costumers they provide fast delivery.
I hope the people to read my review and avoid to use this company services.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURIER COMPANY!

I bought a product on ebay that I was obliged to pay VAT on under EU laws on importing from outside the European Union. The shipper included in the parcel all the necessary paperwork for processing which included proof of prepayment of VAT on the website where I purchased, this was indicated by a unique IOSS number. But the DHL employees either ignored or were inattentive and processed the parcel as if I had to pay VAT for the full amount paid (product cost + VAT) plus DHL's specific charges for the service of presenting and paying the duties to customs. I was then contacted and asked to pay the fees again, which I flatly refused. After a few days they admitted they had made a mistake and said it was their fault for the mix up and that they had redone the customs declaration and the parcel could be on hold for up to 30 days. What did I do wrong!!!? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURIER COMPANY! RICH REPUTATION RUINED BY INCOMPETENT ROMANIAN EMPLOYEES.

My order form Japan-> Tokyo took 2 days…

My order form Japan-> Tokyo took 2 days to reach Romania-> Bucharest and the package stays 4 days in the local dhl facility. I’ve changed the address while the package was still in Tokyo and I was forced to choose the earliest date 13 sept.the package was sorted out faster and it is now in Bucharest where I am but because it is not 13 sept, the package stays in their warehouse from 2 days ago and in call center stated that it should still stay in the facility until 13 sept and that they cannot unlock it. I’ve never heard something like that before with any delivery service. Unacceptable and Dissapointing!

The worst worst worst experience ever

The worst worst worst experience ever. Not only is DHL a mess and have no idea what they are doing in this country, but România lacks so much in life. Never trust any type of company in this country.
DHL you hold such a high reputation but more than anything you seem to do nothing but disappoint your customers.
So ridiculous. They like to take your money and charge crazy amounts but never manage to deliver.
Never ever use DHL in Romania!!

Do not ever import anything with DHL

Do not ever import anything with DHL! They have the worst customs team, they overcharge you and refuse to give you details for what you need to pay.
They are giving contradictory information, refuse to communicate in writting - in few words I feel robbed!
The worst experience ever, I would not recommend them to anyone!

DHL Romania = Trash

Probably another apartment company in Romania just using the DHL name. Worst customer support ever. A lady who just tell you like a robot that the package it will be delivered by a another trash company called urgent cargus. Morons that package has been sent with dhl not with urgent cargus. My package tracking # checks on dhl website. The package is in RO since 4 days ago but I have no idea who will deliver it and when.

Worst customer experience ever

Worst customer experience ever!
Customer support treat you like crap, shipment takes 1 day to reach the country of destination and then you wait forever for the local DHL department to even start the custom process.
They take days to answer your emails but demand that you answer them immediately.
Even after you pay the taxes, they still take forever to deliver your products.
Avoid at all costs if you have time-sensitive shipments from outside the EU!

customs clearance process

We have a package in the customs clearance process for a month. We complained to DHL and received apologies and promises, but the parcel is still in the customs clearance process. We will never work with DHL again. Worst quality services.

Tracking process is garbage

They "try" to deliver a package and never call and you don't know an interval when the package should arrive. You have to reschedule and wait more time...
