Incompetent and dishonest

Incompetent and dishonest. They lied that my item was held in Customs when their own tracking system showed this was not the case. Eventually, after several weeks, admitted they had lost it. Now making me jump through hoops to get a refund. Really shocking that such diabolical service exists in 2021.

TNT lost my parcel but would not take responsibility!

TNT lost my parcel but for over a month they lied, they told me it was with customs. I contacted them on 18 separate occasions and each time was promised action to resolve the problem. It was only when I spoke to a senior executive that I was contacted buy someone who had been told to sort out the problem which she did after another 2 weeks.

I am not giving 0 stars just because I can’t

Where to start? My family in Italy wanted to send a parcel to me and my flatmates here in the UK. I paid £50 insurance as the box contained not only goods but also personal belongings. The value of the parcel surpassed £150. The parcel got collected on 01/03/2021 at my parents’ house and it arrived in the UK on time a week after. The first delivery attempt was made 09/03/2021 with no success. The reason behind this is that our doorbell ring is not working. The driver didn’t try to call the provided number (personal mobile), left a note and went away. The story goes on like this up until Thursday. I call first thing in the morning, I speak with a staff member who probably works at the local depot, he tells me the drivers already out for delivery and they’ll try to keep track on his position. I provide not only one, but two telephone numbers. The delivery man comes a second time, doesn’t try to call and goes away. The third day I’m sitting outside waiting for the truck to arrive, then it finally comes. First things first, there was a sign on the box which clearly stated “This side up”. Guess what? The box was upside down. They marked the shipment delivered as damaged and left. 1) The box was completely smashed. An item got even missed from a hole. 2) I had to throw in the bin multiple items because they were either broken or not-edible after the way they treated the box. 3) A 5l extra virgin olive oil tin got an irreparable damage. I tried to call customer service since then. Contacted them by email several times. I never received a reply. I want my money back as soon as possible. I paid for insurance for the reason I wanted my parcel to come to my address intact. I am very disappointed. Federica Lunerti

I am writing about my lost luggage of…

I am writing about my lost luggage of 16kg which I intended to ship abroad once it was delivered to the shipping agent within the UK.  It was Christmas presents which I collected over the last 12 months. Twice your drivers turned up late when I missed the deadline for delivery to the shipping agent. Third time, my luggage was returned and the fourth time it got lost. I can not quite understand how 17kg luggage could possibly go missing. Surely, you should have a better system in place for lost luggage!

Very reliable for sending to the US

My regular courier (DHL) massively inflated their prices at the start of 2021, so I've been shopping around trying to find an easy to use, reliable, and fairly priced alternative for sending 2kg parcels quickly from the UK to the US. TNT Direct fit the bill. I've sent a couple of dozen parcels through them, and I have had no snags at all. Their booking procedure is a doddle. They collect when they are supposed to. And they deliver pretty much on time, maybe a day late sometimes which is fine. The driver who picks my parcels up is very friendly and professional.

I can send my parcels for less. I can save around £1.50 per package if I use an agent and then hand over my US parcels at a nearby drop off point. But I'm happy to continue using TNT so long as they continue to provide great service. The only worry is that their website states they will soon re-brand themselves as 'Fedex Express'. And as we all know, re-brands nearly always mean price increases, so I'll be watching carefully to see if they go the same way as DHL.

Failed to collect 2 days on the trot

Failed to collect 2 days on the trot. I only arranged it with them as the website said it was connected to FedEx and i thought it was a trust worthy company. After realising that you cannot contact them unless talking through livechat via Parcel2Go, i was told that they cannot contact the courier to find out the reason they didnt turn up as they have no connection with the courier and are online only! The advisor said they were not part of fedex and nothing to do with Parcel2Go when it states that they are on their own website. AVOID this company at all costs. Don't make my mistake, just look at these reviews on trust pilot. Shambles is an understatement!!

Do not use this company

Used to try to ship a parcel to Holland. Actual booking was easy, and the driver in the UK picked up as expected. My one star rating is for the driver only.

Problems started after the parcel cleared customs. It basically sat in Eindhoven for over a week after apparently being sent out for delivery once.

My real gripe with this company is that its so very difficult to contact them. You have to search a lot to find the contact phone number (which nobody answers). You have to sit for ages in a queue to the online chat help.
I had a case opened for me on Jan 29th. 9 days on I have heard nothing. Looking at the case, they are still waiting to hear back from the courier in Holland. Zero progress in 9 days.
My parcel was delivered back to me in the UK on 3rd February. I guess I'm lucky to have it returned and didn't find myself out of pocket to the tune of 150 quids worth of goods. Apparently the street in Maastricht doesn't exist. Except it does. I've been sending parcels via Royal mail to there for the past 6 months.

I doubt I will actually hear back from their customer services department. I also doubt I'll bother informing them it's back as I cannot be arsed to sit around all over again in their queueing system. And as they've taken money from me for a service they were unable to provide.. I don't owe them anything.

I do suspect that the issue is with the courier at the Dutch end, but due to TNT Directs poor customer services and due to reading the reviews below, I'm not inclined to give them a pass for it. Avoid like the plague.

The most ridiculous courier service I…

The most ridiculous courier service I have ever used. Paid for express delivery to send a letter from UK to Greece. Parcel picked up on 4th Jan and was supposed to be delivered on 5th Jan. Guess what, 20th Jan and their website has zero updates on my parcel tracking. So I submit a claim as my delivery seems to have been lost. Get an automated email that they need 7 days to investigate. Today 30th Jan and I still do not have a single response to what happened to the delivery. Absolutely ridiculous service for the money you pay. They have also managed to make it exceptionally hard for the customer to find a representative, to speak to directly, instead of filling out automated forms. One can understand some delays due to Brexit and due to Covid, that every business claims these days, but a month later and not a single contact from TNT with an answer of where my delivery is.
Sending something with express courier and paying these massive amounts for next day delivery means that what we send it really important and must get to the recipient very quickly.

TNT Direct/Parcels 2 go

TNT Direct, Parcels 2 Go, whatever they want to call themselves are an absolute disgrace. They lost hundreds of pounds worth of our stock, smashed other parcels, and delivered other Christmas orders weeks after due dates. We have received no compensation, no apology and our complaints were rejected. There is no way to accurately depict how terrible this company is. If at all possible, use a different service. I’d rather cycle across the country than trust this shower ever again.

TOTAL SCAM - they are not actually TNT

TOTAL SCAM -
TNT Direct has nothing to do with the actual TNT company. They are a subpar forwarding company who have disguised themselves as TNT. Terrible service ... our "next day" delivery was still not delivered after 14 days and the only way I got it completed was through the actual TNT company who were quite helpful.

PARCEL DAMAGED ! £155 lost!

CANNOT ASK FOR A REFUND OF MY PARCEL DAMGED!

Parcel sent from UK to Spain on December the 15th! Parcel arrived completely soaked in water - despites every single item was protected in plastic the amount of water was so meaningful that all the items were completely melted and ruined!!!!
Lost a customer - £120 of goods - £35 of shippings for an amount of £155 - Keep on contacting through the online form and nobody is sorting the situation or giving me any advise on how to proceed! I can proof the case with pictures of how the parcel arrived! Maybe somebody threw the package in a lake or a swimming pool ???? DOn't really know what to think! This is scandalous! I should be entitled for a refund!

Never again

Long story short - my parcel has been damaged. I have opened a claim, provided evidence. The claim was reopened asking for the evidence again. At this point I have tried to reach customer service. There is no phone number you can call ,no email address and live chat is unmanned. PayPal transaction provided contact details do not work. I will surely never be using this company again and I will be reporting them to trading standards for not complying with e-commerce regulations.

Verging on criminal negligence. Stay away.

Where do I start. TNT Direct lose over £10,000 of my goods and just decline to accept responsibility. Insurance claim declined and no reasons given.
Big mistake to do this to me - my lawyer is on the case and I am preparing a file for BBC. I will also take the same file to their competitors to get some global publicity. Last experience on the chat service was over 2 hours, 4 transfers, no information. It's easy to hid behind the web but we have laws in UK and
I am going to use the small claims court, get a judgement and then issue a winding up order. I will shut down the company.
