Regularly send out the wrong skirts that aren't adjustable when they are advertised as being, sent out the wrong size shirts too. Not impressed

As the only supplier to get uniforms for my son's school I was a bit dubious to buy online. But my experience buying from Direct Clothing has been excellent. It's not very often they run out of stock and if anything needs to be returned there is no hassle.

I ordered a senior school plain grey skirt for my daughter. A junior school pleated, checked skirt was sent, despite the correct skirt on the delivery note and order confirmation. I emailed direct clothing but had no response. I therefore had to pay to return it, re-order the correct item and pay further postage to have the correct one sent - all in all, postage for one skirt therefore cost me approx £15!
Although the skirt received is great quality, communication & customer service was not.

Returns and delivery take an eternity. I still haven't received my order from August 21st, or any correspondence regarding it.
Emails also either take an eternity or there's no response. The phone system, when calling is also inefficient.

Kids grow fast, so sizes often don’t fit. Making customers pay to return items is unfair and not what people expect from online shopping today. The exchange process is frustrating—there’s no easy way to swap items. Instead, customers have to cancel their order, wait for a refund, and then buy the item again. And when they do, they’re charged again for delivery. On top of that, the prices are higher than similar products sold on other websites. This mix of poor service, high costs, and extra fees makes it a very unpleasant experience.
