I made an order for a breadmaker on the 12th Jan. By March it has not arrived and they will no longer respond to any correspondence by email or letter.
Like other reviewers I had a late night message (on a sunday) promising to chase it up and another email saying it would be delivered but it did not arrive.
My bank has refunded the money.

I wish I’d read the reviews before placing my order. Having the same issues as others. Ordered 2 garden chairs online and received an email to confirm then nothing. Delivery time stated 2-5 days. Now 10 days later and I’ve contacted them numerous times via email, Facebook messenger and their online chat. Took 3-4 emails before they responded and the advised delivery would be today. No tracking info or message to confirm it was being delivered today so I contacted them on messenger and was told delivery would be Monday which will be 2 weeks after order. The online chat was a waste of space only automated replies and when requested to speak to an agent I waited 1 hour 18 minutes and still no one came online to help me.
Reading the other reviews I realise I’m not the only one to experience poor communication. I now doubt I will ever receive my order. Luckily I paid via PayPal so have raised a dispute with them.
Also I noticed the payment went to fishcave aquatics limited not to the company I was dealing with which was direct gb
UPDATE PayPal have refunded my money so glad I paid that way.
Lack of communication, no delivery information and didn't respond when a refund was requested.
A shipment email was received following my order, but no delivery date or tracking details. I phoned 3 times, never had the phone calls answered, was sent to voicemail - which was full and couldn't leave a message, contacted via the online chat portal, was eventually told I would be emailed tracking information, which never came, continued to ask, but no response. Requested a refund, no response.. Opened a case with PayPal as I paid through them and then received a refund.

Oh dear! As others have experienced, our item (Breadmaker) never arrived after three weeks from ordering. During the process, they didn't respond to email, but did to FB messenger where I was told delivery was promised for last Wednesday, & after it didn't show, I msg them & I was told they'd cancel order & refund me. This didn't happen (surprise surprise) but thankfully Barclaycard got my money back for me.
DONT USE THIS 'COMPANY' UNLESS YOU WANT HASSLE!
Also odd that it showed a different name (fishcaveaqu) rather than 'Direct GB' on payment the CC statement??

Please read reviews before ordering. No tracking, no order, no customer service! I am very lucky I paid via PayPal...I've just won the PayPal dispute, they didn't respond to them either. Avoid!

Update to review 8th November 2023 regarding purchase of garden chairs.
Our bank reimbursed me the money, so glad this sorry saga is over. I can't stress enough "DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY they will cause you a lot of worry"
Purchase elsewhere
Ordered a breadmaker, delivery within 3 to 5 days stated. After 7 days nothing had been delivered. I contacted customer services via email on a Monday I was told the item would be delivered on Friday. Friday came & went, no delivery arrived, no communication received.
Sent a further 3 emails that were ignored.
Complained via PayPal who investigated the issue & have confirmed that I am due a refund.
I always use PayPal when purchasing online. I doubt that Direct GB would have refunded my money if PayPal had not been involved.
Following my experiencing with Direct GB I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would not touch this company -my item didn't turn up. You can't get hold of this company by phone. I was offered a refund . But that hasn't happened. I've sent loads of emails. Mo they are not responding at all. Sorry I feel ice been scammed 😪

Unfortunately the same poor experience as others. Ordered a Kenwood kettle on 21st January 2024, and then again in February, neither of which have been received. Customer Service phone line does not work and one response via email to say they’d look into the issue, despite several emails written since. Poor company, do not use.

Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered a frying pan and paid with a credit card on 26 January 2024. I have not received the goods after many emails and messages still no reply and you cannot get through to anyone on the phone. I believe this company are scammers!

Con artists. I ordered a bread maker and over 4 weeks later, nothing. I received one reply to my first email saying they’d look into it. I think that’s part of the con to keep us guessing. Then no replies to a further 3 emails. I’ve asked for a refund now but doubt I’ll get a reply or refund. I’ll have to try and get one through my bank but not sure if I can. A complete con - stay away from them.

Scammers -ZERO STARS
I ordered a coffee machine. Everytime I checked it's delivery tracking it just says not yet dispatched. I have e-mailed which I did get a reply to say they would chase it up and get back to me the next day.. surprise, they did NOT. I haver tried phoning the customer services and used every option. There is never anyone available. I have left voice message but still no response. Don't buy anything of these scammers...... I will get my money back through my bank but it's the inconvenience of having to wait for the 15 days to pass before the bank can begin their process.

SCAM - Same experience as everyone else. Bought some plates, then saw reviews and realised I made a mistake but my bank said I need to wait a bit before I claim refund. I waited 2 weeks and they never updated me on my order. When I emailed the responded immediately even though it was late at night, potentially a bot? They said they would look into it asap, then never heard back again. My bank refunded me.

Ordered a kettle on 2.2.24. Today 7.2.24 still not even a despatch note, even though website says 3 to 5 days.
No one answering telephone so left a message. Chat says order still waiting to be fulfilled. Emailed their customer services as well, so hoping for some progress report. 8.2.24 at 9.30pm received holding message that order being chased. Today 10.2.24 still no despatch note, goods, or further communications, so have emailed Co to cancel my order and refund payment. Co replied accepting my cancellation and a refund will be made. Now 16.2.24 still no refund received. Have reported to Trading Standards and Google Ads. Will now contact my credit card for chargeback. At 23.37pm Sunday night 16.2.24 email from DirectGB that a refund was being processed. This morning, Sunday 18.2.24 a full refund of item and delivery charge was cleared to my credit card provider from 'Furniture Home Kidderminsterlnd'. I have only ever had an excuse of 'shortage of staff' but no apology from the Company. I believe my money was taken and used under false pretences.
