On arrival we were greeted by the cleaning staff still in there due to the previous occupants leaving all windows and doors open on a very heavy rainy day soaking the premises through leaving the cleaning staff more work to do. However for us this just goes to show how good and committed the staff are to ensure a very pleasant stay and that the premises were at a relatively high standard. The only thing that let it down for us was that there were a few imperfections which you could expect in today's new builds such as a small piece of trim on stair banisters kept coming off as it hadn't been glued properly. The toaster that was supplied was faulty has only one side worked, there were a few scuff marks on the top of one of the breakfast bar stools. Also the previous occupants had left medication in the property i am just glad it was in the top cupboard were my two year old daughter could not get to it as we did not expect such a thing to be there you don't look out for these things and if put into the wrong hands could be very fatal. We also had full recycling bins outside the property all week even though it stated that the bins would be emptied on Friday. We had to managed with this all week even with the current issue of seagulls being aggressive. All in all i now this review may not seem very good but i can assure that the property Pebbles Beach House was absolutely wonderful to stay in. Myself and my family were very comfortable we had a lovely holiday that went far to quick we didn't want to leave. Myself and my husband are even thinking of buying property there because we enjoyed it so much. The views from Pebbles Beach house were amazing you could see the sea for miles we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Had a fantastic stay in Dartmoor cottage. Accomodation was excellent and set in beautiful surroundings. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

We stayed at Terrazza Giorgia for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. On our arrival we were met with a warm welcome from Nicky who gave us helpful information regarding our stay. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace was amazing, bathed in sunshine for most of the day. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here in July for a week after locating the place everything went smoothly a beautiful property well maintained and clean with comfortable rooms a with plenty of space about
My favourite bits the bi folding patio doors with the jacuzzi,also a gym inside very nice and comfortable with all the mod cons.
Outside there is a great little bar if you like entertaining on evenings and a log burner and with plenty of wood on supply to use.
Comfortable beds the on suite on the ground floor huge master bedroom has a wet room shower. Patio doors onto the private area of the front. The games room upstairs has an Xbox 1 for kids or the men to have a bit of piece and play with a Juliet balcony and opening patio doors with views of the sea, overall would I recommend yes would I stay again yes superb place superb location .

This is the second time that we've stayed at The Buccaneer. They only have 2 rooms but they both have amazing views of Babbacombe Bay. We stayed in The Schooner which is a very large, bright, airy room. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed & lovely toilettries in the bathroom. A small area with fridge / microwave so you can self cater if you want to.
The rooms are obviously over the bar but the noise didn't disturb us, after all you're on holiday. The Buccaneer is a great local pub, popular with Babbacombe residents as well as holiday makers - lovely outside space overlooking the downs. Steve & Marian are great hosts and the bar staff excellent too. Don't expect fine dining but do expect wholesome pub food, which are great value for money.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending both the rooms over the pub and the pub itself. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Babbacombe.

Stunning views across the estuary, clean, comfortable accommodation, great service from the owners Jacqui and Andy. Cant fault it.

We stayed at the watch house. It was lovely. The location was perfect, right on the beach. Very well organised and comfortable. I would recommend this property and this company.

On our arrival we found the house to be immaculately clean. It is extremely well equipped and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed using the outside seating area. In general terms the house is situated conveniently for the beach and shops, with local outlets nearby and major supermarkets within a 10 minute ride. Highly recommended.

Whilst this is the first time we have used Discovery Holiday Homes and stayed in one of their Properties (Hawks Cay), we feel we can say we have received an excellent service. The Property itself was superb and exceeded our expectations and the Property Management team that not only greeted us on arrival but kept in contact with us throughout our stay were professional, very helpful, friendly and gave excellent advice on where to eat drink and enjoy our holiday in Shaldon. What a wonderful seaside village

All in all a good experience. The property we rented was fab and the arrival arrangements etc went very smoothly. Fantastic. Thank you.

The only slight problem was the administration seemed a little disorganised. Firstly, I was phoned months before my booked holiday by the housekeeper who said she was expecting me that coming Friday and wanted to clarify the arrival arrangements. She seemed very confused when I said I wasn't booked in till July. This panicked me thinking they had got my booking wrong or I had inadvertently booked the wrong dates.

Then I was sent a reminder to pay the remainder of my rental balance, even though I had sent it a couple of weeks earlier. This threw me into another panic as I imagined the worse. Happily it has been received, but not booked in or something. So all was well.

Our 2nd visit to The Balcony and another super holiday in an amazing and spacious apartment that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Great location and the views are fantastic, the private parking space a real bonus. So glad we discovered this place, it's on our list for a return stay.

We stayed between 4 & 11/7/15 and we were very fortunate with the good weather which does help one's opportunities for a good time. We enjoyed the parking facility which well suited our MG Midget and the Ercol chairs were a delight. The best bit was however the garden which is very nicely tended and is an absolute sun trap until late afternoon.
The house has all that one would want in the way of fittings and indoor leisure capacity it was spotlessly clean and the field glasses were a very nice addition to the wonderful river views at the lounge window.

A good property in a great location. The village of Shaldon has all you want for a holiday and all of South Devon is within an easy drive. The cottage itself needs a little bit of work doing to it both inside and out.

What a fabulous week we had in this wonderfully situated house.

Just the two of us and so only used the upstairs facilities. The sun shone all week.

The balcony overlooking the harbour is great for having breakfast alfresco, although its in the shade from about 2pm.

There are 113 steps down to the harbour front, easy going down, but just take your time walking back up.

Booked this as a last minute break and Sue from Owners Direct ( not used this company before) was very, very helpful and friendly. We received all instructions straight after payment, very thorough details on how to find the house and garage. To have a garage available in this area is just great, as parking is a nightmare. Put the car in and forget about it.

Great relaxing holiday in beautiful Brixham.

Wow, what a place! We loved every minute of our holiday and didn't want to go home. Bywater is an amazing property and situated in a fantastic location right on the edge of the water with direct access to a private beach. The house is out of this world and has everything you need and more, it was lovely and clean and the hot tub was an added bonus. The garage is brilliant, it has a pool table and table tennis as well as a dart board. The grounds are great, there are lots of different areas to enjoy (seating and BBQ) as well as a lovely lawn which our dogs enjoyed. The local village is lovely, we ate at an amazing fine dining restaurant across the road from the pub, the name escapes me at this time but the details are in the info book. There is lots to do locally and some fab walks nearby. I would definitely recommend Bywater, it will not disappoint!

This cottage is as good as the photo's suggest, probably better. Superb views of the river Dart from the living room and master bedroom and also from the garden area.
We really enjoyed our stay here, would highly recommend it, and would definitely like to come back.
The only downside, not that it's anyone's fault, was the noisy seagulls. They were noisy all night long, every night, and seemed to keep scurrying across the roof of the cottage. Maybe some bird control spikes on the roof would be a good idea?

A wonderful house and location. Everyone had the most fabulous time. You'll never get tired of that view and with so much to do, you'll have to tear yourself away for the short stroll to the beach below.
The only gripe would be that the beds should be larger, inkeeping with the grand rooms.... Not much of a gripe I know!

Had to request the high chair and cot (It was not clear to me that I had to request them because the house said it had them plus I said I had an infant. However after a quick call I was provided with both.)

We were looking for something different for our holidays this summer and beach hut 5 delivered in spades! Would have have no hesitation in recommending the accomodation to others.

My boyfriend and I stayed in beach hut 2 for 2 nights in June and we really enjoyed it. Perfect location right on the beach and next door to a lovely place to eat & drink and just a few mins walk from a bakery/ butchers and small shop. It was a really cute and homely hut that had everything we needed for our stay. Certainly would stay again come rain or shine and recommend to all.
