Love DA forever but there are some quality issues

I love DA to death. I own the long black dress, a couple of blazers, a couple of suit pants – these are all the clothes I always reach for. My wishlist is full of other DA items and I hope one day I'll build a capsule wardrobe with their clothes.

However, I must say, the quality isn't as good as it used to be. I love the materials, I can tell that they're sturdy yet soft like butter. But it's the little things like losing a button or the lining ripping... When I pay 200eur for a blazer, it better not lose a button; especially, when my fast fashion pieces never do!

All in all, I want to continue shopping from the brand & I hope the quality goes back to what it was.

The kindest and most efficient customer service!

I didn't have the best first experience with their items.

Due to some loose seems they started ragging and falling apart at the edges slightly after a few washings.

I sought contact through their customer service on their website, which was super easy, and they replied almost immediately.

After reviewing our options, they went out of their way to ensure that I'd receive replacements, which were delivered at no cost within 4 working days.

Furthermore, ordered more clothes because I was so happy with the way I was treated previously and I have had no quality issues with that order of clothes whatsoever!

All together, it just seems like it was a bad batch; however, what matters to me is that they acknowledged their fault straightaway and went above and beyond to make it up. 10/10 would buy again!

COULDN'T BE MORE GRATEFUL. Agnes was SOOOOO wonderful and attentive. The customer service is better than I have ever seen. I had a question about a swimsuit that I’ve been eyeing for almost 2 years, and was waiting for a restock. Once I found out they weren’t restocking I was pretty bummed but Agnes was an absolute angel and was able to offer me the item for free for my feedback. I’m so so grateful and am excited to support this business in the future 🫶🫶

Best customer service

I had a issue regarding shipping and some products, luckily Jessica and Adam from customer service helped me through the process and made it an easygoing experience! They were informative through it all, so i would recommend them forward. Also a great company with good clothing items!

Such a good experience with DA

Thought I would need another size and the customer support give me the best support I could ask for.

Have some integrity

You should be giving people full refunds. Not only do they charge a fee to refund items, which is definitely not ideal but okay. They also refuse to refund the fee you originally paid for shipping. But somehow they offer free exchanges. This brand is so greedy. You are already overcharging for your products because that quality does not match the price point. And you still find any opportunity you can to take more from people. I'm never trusting influencers with my money. So greedy. No integrity.

I would put no stars if I could. I pay for an order through PayPal, who have confirmed this company has received the payment. But I have no goods, and they say they have no record of my purchase. These people are cons. Don’t buy from this website

£109.00 for a dressing gown that fell apart in less than 2 months from lying in bed, XXXL size for a small girl too, also I wore it to go for a pee once and the material is awful, feels like a cold dish towel. Absolute crap. Never let your girlfriend tell you this brand is good because it’s not

10/10 would recommend

I cannot rave about this company enough. I have bought multiple items from Djerf Avenue and each item has always been of great quality and arrived either the next working day or within a couple days of purchase without problems. At first I did need to pay custom charges for the uk which wasn’t a problem as the VAT was taken off before purchase. Now they have an all included price at checkout for the UK so what you see is what you pay which makes things so much simpler, I really appreciate the company making that adjustment for us UK based customers. I have also made a few exchanges and the process simple and fast and the customer service team is always available to help with the absolute BEST customer service, fast responses and they are always super helpful with the kindness demeanour. Which is great cus I usually find returns super stressful. I love the inclusive sizing and seeing models on their site I can relate to and getting a good idea of how the item will actually look on my body type. I also like how transparent the company is with their production. Seeing exactly what kind of working conditions the clothes I order come from makes the experience guilt free for me as I actively try to avoid fast fashion brands that utilise sub par working conditions.
From one person that likes to shop to another 10/10 would recommend.

Poor quality

I bought the forever blazer and was really disappointed. The quality is the same as hnm and you would find better at zara to be honest, also the returns policy seems out of touch with the price tag. I really wanted to like Djerf, but won't be buying from them again.

She went above and beyond explaining everything to me and even helped me decide which size to exchange for in my Forever Blazer as it was my first time purchasing from Djerf. I recommend!

My item came with a small but visible mark.. contacted customer service and they said I could return it but as I’m going away soon I asked if there was nothing else that could be done as I wanted to take the item. They then offered a 10% discount and dry cleaning to be paid for the item! Seana was the lovely person I was speaking to and I am grateful for how friendly she was too! Amazing quality of the clothes too!

website info was misleading

I placed my order on Djerf Avenue back in March this year.

I have bought countless items from the EU since Brexit (I'm based in the UK) so I'm well aware of the potential extra costs of VAT & Customs. On other websites, it's always been very clearly stated that customs and VAT aren't included in the price (I always check) so I know what to expect. Other companies would include the fee at checkout so everythings paid upfront, so customers won't need to pay anything extra to receive their shipment from DHL.

I received my order from DHL (I've received many EU orders from DHL before and if I needed to pay anything, they always ask me to pay the VAT & Customs, before they deliver my shipment). This didn't happen for my Djerf Avenue shipment so I assumed that everythings already been sorted.

Once I received my order, I made a return on the same day as the blazer didn't fit right. I checked the Djerf Avenue site to see what I needed to know about the return process and I acknowledged that it would cost me £15 for the return fee. Alls well with the return process and refund.

The issue came in June. I received a letter from DHL to tell me they've passed on my details to their legal department because I owed them money for this Djerf Avenue order (30% of my order amount). I was shocked and confused. I didn't receive anything prior to this threatening letter, so I called DHL to enquire. I had told them I have returned the item and they told me to simply email DHL the proof of export and that the company have received the return, so I did. But then the response I received from DHL was that DHL have paid HMRC and DHL will not be responsible and I needed to pay them the amount if I didn't want to go to court and be sued, they said I would need to send a physical letter to HMRC to make a claim if I want it refunded.

I emailed Djerf Avenue's customer service and they told me "Since you have returned your item to us, you do not need to pay DHL the import charges they are requesting. We kindly recommend reaching out to them and letting them know that you have returned your items back to us" - even though in my message to Djerf stated that I already told DHL I have returned the shipment to Djerf. So the CS at Djerf wasn't helpful at all. I didn't want my credit score to be tainted so I paid the amount to DHL. I proceeded to look at filling in the form on HMRC but they required information I didn't have for the shipment.

At this point I have spoken to 5-6 different people at DHL, no one can provide the information I needed to make a claim at HMRC because apparently the waybill number doesn't exist.. I would speak to someone in one department and they would ask me to call another department, then that department would tell me to call the previous department and so on. Because no one at DHL can provide the information I need to fill in the claims form for HMRC, I won't be able to make a claim to get my money back.

I have wasted so much of my time and unnecessary stress because of this experience. All this happened because Djerf Avenue wasn't clear with what would happen to shipments to the UK. If they had stated clearly that DHL would be delivering the shipment and then they will be sending a letter for the VAT & customs for payment afterwards, all of this could be prevented. This information was NOWHERE to be found. Even though if I had known this, I wouldn't have placed the order in the first place.

I feel very misled and tricked by this company. I have received no concrete support form Djerf Avenue. I would never consider purchasing from this company ever again and neither would I recommend it. The worst shopping experience I've ever had.

Edit: 20/7/23 - after leaving a message on Djerfs website and this review. One of their CS emailed me and was very nice and offered to issue a refund for the amount I had to pay to DHL. So I’m happy that this is now resolved.

The best customer service experience ever!!

I have loved Djerf Avenue clothes for a few years now but their customer experience is exceptional. I have had my jeans for 3 years and I was so upset when the zipper broke. I contacted Djerf Avenue and they immediately offered to repair or replace my jeans. The whole team was so lovely and really kept me in the loop for the whole process. Also, the best jeans ever, I just wore them to death!!
