They did a wonderful job and were very nice to deal with. They also cleaned the car before returning it. However, after getting my collection date and an e-mail confirming they would come for the car in the morning they didn’t turn up until after 1pm. I waited home all morning and by the time they came I’d had to go out to the appointment I had deliberately booked for the afternoon so I could accommodate them. Very annoying and very disruptive to my day.

Had a few issues with my car after the initial repair, but all were dealt with promptly and supplied with a courtesy car for the whole duration while ongoing works took place.

I called and spoke with a Customer Services Team Leader this morning and to be perfectly fair she was very polite and professional and throughout my experience with DLG Glasgow I've never had an issue with their staff as they've always been very helpful. She rightly so advised me that I should get an independent engineer to get a second opinion however this would be a great expense to myself because as I've explained in several reviews before the only way these speckles can be seen is in direct sunlight and our weather is far too unpredictable to enable me to book an engineer, I could waste a lot of money here, this is a typical example of your big multi million pound companies crushing the average person because my car is going to cost thousands of pounds to replace every glass panel due to the neglect of a staff member(s) and the final word all came down to a bootlicker they have employed as an engineer because he's out to keep his bosses happy, on my last review which is dated above I asked the same 3 questions several times and not once has this engineer provided me with an answer so my theory is he is either under qualified to do so and he has based the outcome of the damage to my car based on guess work because he can evidence absolutely nothing and in my opinion these are 3 straight forward questions a 'qualified' engineer should have at the top of his head.
PLEASE BE AWARE...... DLG are owned by Direct Line Insurance, they also own Churchill and have recently been taken over by Avia and MOST IMPORTANTLY this engineer works for them all!!!!!
DLG Auto Services are not even accredited to The Motoring Ombudsman so if you have a complaint you have no one to back you up apart from The Financial Ombudsman that only deals with the complaint procedure and I had no issues with that whatsoever.
I'll finish this last review and once again I'll mention that in my 50 years of driving never in my life have I had hundreds upon hundreds of stone chips on each glass panel including the windscreen, both side windows, the rear window, both mirrors and the sunroof...this was done by industrial damage in DLG's workshop.
I still have 3 questions that the engineer has failed to answer and I have asked these several times

The most important thing was that my car was repaired to an excellent standard, but I found the whole operation to be first class.
From the initial call shortly after I lodged my claim with my insurers, to the collection of my car and delivery of a courtesy car, to the way I was kept informed on the progress, to the work being finished ahead of schedule, to my car being washed and cleaned, to the delivery of my car and collection of the courtesy car - every thing was carried out in a courteous and professional manner.
Everyone we dealt with at DLG was helpful and very polite. They were easy to communicate with.
