Absolutely abysmal customer service. DLG autos repaired my vehicle when I was recently involved in a 'non fault' accident.
I received my vehicle back in the timeframe promised, but with new damage to my bonnet, dent in drivers door, and the wing they replaced - now had a huge panel gap between the bonnet and wing which wasn't there before the accident.
DLG were less than helpful and just said they were returning my car, ending my hire car and if I wasn't happy, I should go back to Churchill. I did exactly that...guess what, they raised a complaint, promised a manager callback (twice) that never materialised ....and then closed my complaint without telling me. When I called them back for the third time, they said "Oh we've closed your complaint, if you're not happy with the repair, you'll need to go back to the repair company" (spotting a trend here.....??)
The insurance on my hire car is due to end tomorrow and I've been promised yet another manager call back within, well, who knows 1.....3........99 days?
Come on Churchill, basics of customer service ...customer acknowledgement, ownership of a problem, at least sounding interested when I call to be advised my complaint has been closed (instead of a customer service advisor tapping on a microphone, placing me on endless holds, and repeatedly telling me "i'm sorry there's nothing more I can do for you here".
First, and last time ever purchasing or dealing with direct line group, Privilege, Green Flag, Darwin nor Direct line...period!
Update - Churchill have now referred me back to DLG. DLG have referred me back to Churchill. Priceless! I'm waiting for the stock reply of 'we take our customer service seriously, we would like to discuss this further ... please contact blah blah blah'.

Overall the service was excellent as was the accident repair and based on this I would have given 5 stars. However my only disappointments were (1) they gave an overly pessimistic estimate for the repair of my car of 17 days, whereas the reality was just 5 days. (2) I had to return my car to them to enable them to remove paint overspray from the windscreen. (3) I considered the payment by credit card of the policy excess to be taken in a very low security manner.

Outstanding in every respect from start to finish. Excellent customer service and the repair was of the highest standard. As a customer, I felt extremely well looked after and I was kept informed every step of the way.
DLG collected my car from my home at the agreed time and returned it to me the same day. They also kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. Overall, it was a fast, reliable and very efficient service.

Took a long time. My car was driven from my address and returned the same way instead of being on a trasporter. Cost £110. Car was roughly cleaned to a very poor standard. I was not impressed.
