Good job let down by easy fixes.

Communication after the first 10 days was non existent and automated updates were completely wrong. I was ok with the repair taking 3 months but I was told on 2 separate occasions it was going to be ready earlier. 6 weeks and 10 weeks. When the car was returned 2 items had not been addressed that I think should have been identified by an assessor and QA. Inside roof fitting( the roof lining was replaced) and the clip holding the boot floor panel in place, it was rear end smash. Since the return of the car the rear boot has failed to open 5 times out of approx 25 tries. Overall I think these things could have been better and pull the score down.
Body work in my humble opinion is excellent.

Post repair communication with Shamir has been significantly better and a credit to the company. An engineer will now be sent to my home to deal with the outstanding items. I have updated review to 4 star to represent this.

Car was returned damaged in an area…

Car was returned damaged in an area that wasn’t in for repair. Then until argued they wouldn’t fix it for 2 weeks.
Eventually 1 week and then overran.
Eventually all fixed and repaired.

The communication in respect of keeping…

The communication in respect of keeping informed was ok but the quality of the work and the fact it was painted the wrong colour wasn’t great the car was treated like it wasn’t worth the effort to be put into it and it was done by a back street bodge it and scarper outfit. Very unprofessional work

Good service

Good communication from beginning to end of car repair. Lots of updates given. Staff polite and friendly. Quick efficient service- happy with workmanship and completed repair.

Excellent service

Excellent service, speedy repair (7 days) Car came looking like new. Courteous staff for wagon driver who picked car, office reception staff and the guy who handed the car back to me. Top marks!

Asked to submit photos of damage so…

Asked to submit photos of damage so they could assess any parts needed. Advised when car would be picked up and text re progress of work and when car should be returned. Spoke to staff all very helpful. I would use again and recommend

The people I dealt with were helpful…

The people I dealt with were helpful and efficient. I was kept informed of the progress of the repair all through the process. In fact the repair was completed a little ahead of schedule. I would recommend DLG auto services as a good reliable company.

Dates for completion not met

Dates for completion not met. Bodywork good, Ongoing electrical problems dealt with by me taking car to main dealer. Workshop supervisor gave misleading information to me.

Car was returned but still could not…

Car was returned but still could not open passenger door from accident. After complaining was told I could not have car in again for repair for few weeks as they were busy. I’m not happy
