My experience with DLG

I have not had an accident for many years. DLG picked up my car from my home and took it to their garage st Stockton. My car was due to be returned on the Saturday but they rang and confirmed there were imperfections. I had already cancelled my courtesy car as my own car was due back. DLG arranged another hire car for me until the Monday when my car was returned. It was lovely.

Fast, Efficient and Friendly…

Much faster repair than I expected or that they predicted. The work was excellent you can't tell that the car was ever damaged. In addition the staff I had contact with from the ladies who dealt with me on the phone to the lovely man who collected and returned my car were pleasant, friendly and very upbeat. Excellent customer service makes what could be a difficult experience into a pleasant one.

No issues

Acceptable wait to get car in for damage repair. Car picked up on date arranged. Repair completed and looks fine, so no issues at all. Good communication from DLG.

Disgusting courtesy cars.

Repair was good however courtesy cars leave alot to be desired! DLG had my car for just over 1 week in that time I had 3 courtesy cars. The first car delivered wasn't exactly clean, it hadn't really been hoovered or wiped over. I wasn't really happy about it but I would of continued to keep this car as I'd took photos as proof this was the way it had been given to me. However my son found a used vape in the car luckily he gave it to me as he didn't know what it was. I phoned to complain they were very apologetic and said they would send me a new car. I had waited a couple hours and a new car was driven to me. Still not much better on cleanliness but I'd given up! One thing was really silly but the driver had driven the car in his uniform that was dusty so the drivers seat was all dusty why not use seat covers? DLG should deliver cars to customers is a clean respectable way, so customers treat the cars the same. Its not showing a good impression or good customer service. So I'm now onto my second courtesy car in less then a week and I noticed a crack in the windscreen. I contacted DLG who again apologised and said they send me another car. More waiting for a car which arrived must admit it was clean the way the other 2 should of been delivered. If the first car had been delivered like this it would of been an excellent review. However when I got in the car to drive it the smell of weed was disgusting. I sprayed lots of different air freshners to try to get rid of the smell but it was impossible. So much that one week after having the car when the driver came to collect it he was taken back with the smell it was still that strong! I was on the phone to DLG making the payment for my car when the driver arrived for the car so the lady from the office could hear him saying how bad the car smelt. She told me I should of rang to say they would of changed it. This would of been car number 4. I had actually given up at this point. I didn't have time to keep waiting for cars to be delivered I have a job aswell.
I wouldn't recommend using DLG especially if they are supplying your courtesy car. The repair was good but no if you need another car.

Great service

the service provided was first class ..car picked up on time friday morning ..car returned tuesday morning .fast turnaround ..repair work is first class and cannot be seen ..would highly recommend

Awesome Service!!

Brilliant service from first call to last. Car collected on time and delivered back in pristine condition. Admin staff were awesome whilst answering my questions. Engineer was brilliant explaining damage and how they would rectify it - can’t fault the service!!

Excellent repair service

Hassle free pick up and drop off of my car for repairs. Provision of a nice courtesy car for the duration.
Kept informed of progress whilst work was carried out. Quality of the work was excellent.
