I liked the way the DLG staff kept me informed of the progress of the repair and all were all very friendly. I would also include both drivers who collected and returned my car and had the same friendly manor. The quality of the repair was outstanding and I would be happy to use DLG again if the situation arose and would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

During the recent windy weather a tree decided to fall into my path as I was driving home…cause quite a bit of damage.
DLG Wakefield were given the job to do the repairs and by and large their service and workmanship looked good when I first received my car back.
But by the time the car was returned, light was failing and I needed to take a closer look during daylight.
The following morning on closer inspection the windscreen trims on both sides didn't look to be seated correctly and stood proud of the A-frame seating, and try as I might I couldn't get them seated properly. The rest of the vehicle looked fine and finished to a good standard. But my parcel shelf wasn’t there!
Driving around later that day, the trims decided to part company with the vehicle, luckily wasn't going fast and could stop to retrieve them without them being otherwise damaged.
Rang DLG who said would send an engineer to fix the problems under their 5 year warranty.
The guy duly attended a few days later and declared the trim clips attached to the A-frame to need replacing, and, as for my parcel shelf, he knew nothing about it, said he would order new trim fixing clips and bring my parcel shelf ( which had obviously been removed to valet the car and not replaced) back when the clips came.
DLG should imho improve their quality control inspections to make sure the vehicle they are returning is returned with everything it came in with and repairs are completed correctly.
Will update this review as and when my car is finally repaired.

DLG attended today 13/1/25 replaced trim clips and brought my parcel shelf back! All good

Once DLG had been booked by our insurers to effect the repairs to our vehicle, they completed them in an efficient and professional manner. The staff were very courteous and polite, and always kept us informed as to where they were up, and expected completion times/dates.
