Panic, drains blocked on New Years Eve. I googled and found what I thought was a localish company. I expected an answerphone and was a bit concerned when I realised that in spite of dialling a local number I was speaking to an office, in Blackpool, nearly 100 miles away. The lady I spoke to assured me someone would come out to us in the morning. I spent the night panicking and imagining floors being pulled up to sort the issue.
Our first footer on New Year’s Day was Peter the drain doctor. Professional, efficient and an all round lovely chap. He identified the problem and sorted. Phew!! Cost was reasonable given the distance he travelled and New Year’s Day

Technician went out of his way to find the source of the problem with the drains and to provide all the options for managing the blockage.

I can’t praise this company enough Boxing Day visitors in my air b&b, drain blocked so no toilets and I was going on holiday in two hours Jamie was there in one!!

Not the outcome and after service we had hoped for unfortunately. After a promising start with good communication, advice, site visits and the acceptance of a quote to go ahead with our drainage works, we were extremely disappointed with the way our driveway and patio paving have been left. We were promised that after the digging down and drain replacement was done, our driveway and patio would be properly reinstated. This has not been the case at all. I think we could have laid the tarmac better ourselves! Drain Doctor should not promise something they cannot deliver on and then include in their invoicing! A frustration and stress we could do without and a daily eyesore we see at the front of our house. I do want to say that Jamie was helpful throughout but the company needs to learn from this. Wouldn’t want anyone else’s drive and patio to be left like ours! A gesture of good will does not nearly cover the works needed.

Brian the drain engineer was careful, measured and process driven. It was a pleasure to work with him to arrive at a successful drain assessment with 3 covered my chambers found. A good days work

My experience with Drain Doctor was second to none. After making the appointment, Tom and his team contacted me when they were on their way.
Explained the problem regarding flooding and we were advised of several options to remedy this, allowing me a choice to suit.
The team were very helpful, hard working and conscientious in their work.
A down pipe was removed and replaced in a position which allowed the water to be released directly into a newly built drain. An aco drain was also installed.
Flagging had to be pulled up to allow this job but were replaced following installation and looks great
An honest company, cannot fault. Would highly recommend
