Wouldn't reccomend this company. Lie to you try blame other staff saying on maternity leave are they all on it. Bought 2 beds with 2 drawers on each one came broken headboard holes in base. Sent another only one drawer paid for 2. If I don't receive what I paid for bed be going back to shop disgusting treatment took 3 days off for this would they like it done to them so avoid this company and go somewhere else still on going

I ordered a headboard from the Washington branch early August and received the wrong colour at the end of August. I have been into the branch nearly every Monday since for an update on my replacement which is not what I originally wanted but have had to settle for and been fobbed off every time with the promise of a return phone call that I have never once received. I was assured yesterday that it would be delivered today and I’m still waiting (without much hope) I’ve just read some of the reviews and really wished I had done before I went near the place. So please stay clear of this company!!! Even if it’s just a simple purchase you want to make. As for the staff, you know who I am! I’ve visited your store on a weekly basis since the middle of August, but rest assured that you will definitely not see me again after this.

Well I visited Hartlepool store and bought a bed frame and mattress. The sales person called John was very professional and listened to our needs and we went ahead with the sale due to his knowledge. The price and delivery was very reasonable for what we wanted and it took three weeks to deliver on a date we requested. Two men arrived and the process was straight forward and easy. We love our bed and yes I'd read previous reviews but I was reassured by John it would be straight forward and no hassle which is very true thanks very much. Well be back for sure for a new sofa before Christmas.

I went into the durham factory shop in rennys lane as I have been after a custom made bed frame I spoke to Chris in the factory who confirmed everything I wanted could be done! Jason took my order and told me my bed frame would ready within a few weeks of ordering, I had shopped arround and other companies were out of my price range and my shedule but none of them matched Durham Beds

I love my new bed frame and I even went in the following day with my wife and we ordered a mattress best nights sleep we have had in a long time

bought a bed and ottoman from the Washington store, and due to a bereavement had to cancel I was told because of the circumstances I could have a full refund, so that was 4 weeks ago and I'm still waiting, everytime I ring head office I get a different story and fobbed off. Absolute joke this company should be ashamed of themselves and should be avoided at all costs

I carnt fault this company I mean wow the customer service is outstanding from start to finish, I bought a beautiful bed from the sunderland branch they helped me pick the colour and it really sets the room off thank you guys I love my new bed

Quite honestly the worst company I’ve dealt with and unfortunately I’m still dealing with them to get my refund, ordered a bed that was on clearance wasn’t told about any of the marks on the bed so once I found out I wanted to cancel my ordered, trying to get in touch with this company is easier said than done, staff in branch say they can’t do anything so ring or go to their head office in Durham which costs money and time that simply I shouldn’t have to spend. I am now a month into this and I can see other people have had the same issue with them with refunds, this company needs dissolving because they clearly don’t know the first thing about customer service. I’ve been promised call back after call back, emailed a month ago and still nothing so I will be going to the press to name and shame them for their practices.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, use this company at all!
