Amazing duvets, the key is in the tumble dry.
I'm very happy with my purchase. I'd actually bought this duvet a few years ago but was disappointed with it being very flat and empty so returned it. But, looking again for a duvet, I found myself reading about these again and saw that you're supposed to tumble dry them to fluff up the feathers. So, I gave it another try and I'm extremely happy I did. I absolutely love it, it's so fluffy and snuggly. I would never usually buy animal products but teething too but the most sustainable option, recycled feathers seemed the best and I'm even more pleased that it also happens to be the comfiest option. I would definitely recommend these duvets. I'm now turned to get myself the pillow too.

Received someone’s old pillow.
To my shock, when I opened my one of the two Earthkind pillows I received, it was clearly discoloured, old and a different style to the other. There was also an old smell - it clearly wasn’t new. Due to the fact that the company works with recycled materials I assumed there had been a mix up at the factory.
When I emailed to complain, I was first met with a response that assumed I was lying, and then also criticised me for reporting the incident late (a few months after purchase) I explained that I was in the process of moving, so bought the pillow in the winter sales, but only finished decorating in April - which is why they were opened late.
My last correspondence with them was May 7, where they said they were booking into it. 2 months later, there had been no update.
The customer service was unfortunately terrible- especially in such a horrific situation. No wants to open the tag of a ‘fresh’ pillow, only to find an old secondhand one inside - and then be accused of lying.
Really wanted to support, but have unfortunately had a terrible experience.

Ordered again as we already have a couple of EarthKind feather duvets for our glamping site (The Secret Yurts) and are very happy with them - after many months of continued use. This time replacing synthetic duvets, and they look great. First guests to use them said how comfy their sleep was 😊

Ticks all of the boxes really
Ticks all of the boxes really - well made, using high quality, and largely recycled materials. We bought the 4.5 tog natural feather and down duvet, and it's warm enough for the spring, and should work well if we ever get a summer around here!
We also bought the Earthkind 10.5 tog down and feather duvet from John Lewis a while ago, and that is particularly excellent. The JL versions have more down than feather, and the ones bought direct from Earthkind have more feather than down - both are the same high quality, warm and environmentally conscious products. Highly recommended
