Avoid at all costs
Rude reception staff on every occasion. No clear pricing, you will never have a clue how much you’ve paid for what. The last straw for me was my last dog’s annual vaccination visit, I always tell the vet that my dog obviously doesn’t enjoy the vets visit and you have to take your time giving him his jabs but he just went straight ahead. Put the needle in so rough it came out the other side of his scruff, I could’ve cried! no apology. Just blamed it on the dog, absolutely disgusting. I have moved all three of my dogs to a new vet but unfortunately one of them now has to be sedated with tablets for every visit thanks to his past experiences. if you love your pets stay clear of this hell hole.
Awful experience
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience.
My 12-year-old dog (with a known heart condition) underwent a dental procedure at Easipetcare Dartford. What followed was a series of issues that I believe raise serious concerns about clinical care and communication.
Her procedure was initially cancelled due to a booking error. On another occasion, she was admitted at 8am, prepped for surgery, and then sent home at 4pm because there was no longer time to proceed.
When the procedure finally went ahead, pre-operative bloods had already shown signs of infection. Antibiotics were prescribed after surgery, yet they were not dispensed to me due to what the practice later described as a “human error.” At her follow-up appointment, it was assumed she was already receiving these antibiotics when she was not.
I was also not informed at the time that her blood pressure had dropped significantly during the procedure. This was only disclosed later in the written complaint response.
Shortly after, my dog became acutely unwell — she collapsed, could not stand, and would not eat or drink. Repeat blood tests showed the infection was still present and there were new kidney abnormalities that had not been identified previously.
The practice has acknowledged that the antibiotics were not dispensed and that errors occurred in the discharge process. While they later offered repeat blood tests and antibiotics as a “goodwill gesture,” this does not reflect the reality of the situation. These were not optional extras, but necessary follow-up care after the original treatment plan was not carried out correctly.
Although my dog is now recovering after finally receiving the appropriate treatment, the overall handling of her care — including missed medication, lack of communication, and multiple points of failure — has significantly impacted my trust.
The concern here is not a single isolated mistake, but a series of breakdowns in care and processes.
I would strongly encourage other pet owners to carefully check discharge medications and ask detailed questions before leaving the practice.

5-Star Review for Easipetcare Streatham
If I could leave 1000 reviews.. I would!
I want to give a massive thank you to the entire team at Easipetcare Streatham. I had an emergency last night with my little bubbah (my cat), and the whole team rallied around us instantly.
I’ve been to many vets over the years, and nothing comes close to how genuinely these guys care for your animals. Their compassion, professionalism, and the way they treated my cat as if she were their own was unbelievable.
Thank you for always putting animals first — it truly shows.
10/10 would absolutely recommend.
Pets health held at ransom
I have been with this vets for the past couple of years since moving into the area. The best thing about this surgery is the receptionists which i can say are hands down amazing and so so sweet with the animals. In terms of veterinary care, it’s rare you will see a qualified vet and instead a veterinary nurse whilst paying premium costs. My cat had a long term health condition but they insist on seeing her and taking blood despite this causing my cat huge levels of distress (she’s an elderly frail house cat) i have explained this on multiple occasions, not to mention ruin the fact that it’s £250 per blood test even if they change her medication by just 1mg. Without the blood test and consultation (around £340) they refuse to re-prescribe the lifesaving medication my cat needs. When i challenged them on this saying it feels like I’m being held ransom to keep my cat well, i had a very young, arguably inexperienced veterinary nurse suggest that i should ‘surrender’ my 17yr old cat to ‘someone that can afford her’. As an NHS worker, the suggestion of this goes against all what we stand for. There was no consideration to perhaps looking into a cheaper option, a different vet, a subsidised service etc. the answer was essentially ‘just give her up’. Which to me is wildly ignorant given how full the shelters are in London, quite shocking advice from veterinary staff in a London clinic. I won’t lie, given my high running emotions i lost my ability to see sense and told her what i thought of this idea and just left. Since then i have not been provided with the lifesaving medication prescription that my elderly cat needs which kind of goes to show that again, services from this vet are subject to random and are not based on ethics or the animal’s best interest. On this basis, i would strongly suggest you find an alternative. The reception ladies are so wonderfully kind that you’d be fooled into thinking this attitude and philosophy runs through the whole surgery but that’s not the case. When the vet told me i should give up the cat if i couldn’t afford the vet fees, i tearfully challenged back that perhaps they should instead consider lowering the fees given how extortionate they are - she said she doesn’t set the prices AKA “computer says no”. Really easy answer, jobsworth.
Rightly or wrongly, having been an NHS worker for 15+years, there’s situations in which you do everything you can to help and tiptoe around the red tape. This sugary won’t do that for you. If you aren’t middle class with a regular, steadily high income, don’t bother. No one needs their animals treatment to be held at ransom because you don’t have a few hundred quid just sitting in your back pocket to hand over.
Give them a wide birth.

The entire team have been great…
The entire team have been great throughout, being nothing but attentive and caring. I honestly can not thank the vet enough for everything she has done for my boy over the last 7 months, amazing doesn't even come close
Scammers that will harm your animal's
They always come up with made up expenses. And they certainly don't qualify to be called low cost vet who care.
Many of my cats after their treatments had to be rushed to emergency care due to the new flea treatment they rolled out giving serious allergy.
They also have given in multiple occasions adult dose for my kittens making them being very unwell and being rushed to emergency care again. In some situations I have noticed they have given me again adult cats dose and when I asked to change this they did take back the adult cats one over 2.5kg but still asked me to pay for the new one issued on top of my expenses.
I cancelled my yearly vet health care plan after nearly 2 years I was on it and they sent me an invoice of early cancellation fee of £60. This when I cancelled it week after I made a monthly payment without having done yearly boosters and taken out for long time wormers and flea treatments for this cat and terms and conditions don't even mention this.
Their kittens vaccinations courses are advertised for £79 but once you paid for it and they are done they ask you to cover cost of £250.
When advert clearl says everything cat have received is covered with £79.
This is illegal and shameful practice they have.
Terrible service
Terrible service; they only work to extract more money from clients. I've been there twice with a kitten with the same problem, and the doctor told me to call him back in a week. When I called, the receptionist didn't even want to inform the doctor about my call, saying I needed an appointment. Are you kidding? I've already paid £59 for an appointment twice, and the same problem. The doctor said to call, but reception has its own rules. The medications are terribly expensive: an antibiotic costs £69, while online costs £9.90. I've been using it for 7 years, but now I'm forced to go to another vet.
I had to have our 15 year old Westie…
I had to have our 15 year old Westie put to sleep due to health issues and wanted a casket and ashes back to place in our garden.
3 weeks later nothing from Easipetcare Kettering so I rang them and they told me there was confusion about the cremation I paid for casket etc but ticked communal cremation instead of contacting me the just carried out communal cremation and scattered her ashes in there remembrance garden so we have nothing back .
My Family are heart broken and we are not happy
Charging me for work i never authorised them to do
If i didn't have the lifetime vaccination with easipet, i wouldn't use them.
Went to a "6 month check up" where they done nothing but basically just stroke my cat.
Then a week later they called me and said due to a 'computer error' i actually needed to come for the 12 month vaccination...
I travel back to the vets for the second time and my appointment wasn't on the system despite me having the booking confirmation email, so I had to wait for the receptionist to see if a vet could see me.
I was then asked to wait in the reception area and they took my cat away from me which i found to be very strange as this has never happened at any other vets i go to.
The vet then called me in to the room about 5 minutes later and said my cat was constipated (something i already know and she is receiving treatment from my vets for) so they will not give her the vaccinations but as they 'consulted me' they are now chasing me to pay a £60 consultation fee! (My appointment was for my cat to receive her annual vaccinations only).
I was not in the room with my cat so i have no idea what they done or why they are carrying out additional chargeable work without my permission.
I sent in a complaint 2 weeks ago which has been ignored yet they are still chasing me via email and post to pay the fee.
This happened last year when my dog was…
This happened last year when my dog was a puppy. The whole incident destressed me that much ive only just thought about writying this review. My dog suddenly started crying in pain, she was registered here so this is where I took her. They admitted her and told me they would call me to discuss what was wrong they told me it would be £500 got me to sign a document while I was incredibly distressed.
After a few hours they call me back I to come in, I arrive the vet was casually standing around chatting while I could hear my puppy screaming in distress, they told me to just put her to sleep as they didn't know what was wrong. I took my dog to scarsdale vets where they immediately sedated her to be pain free.
It turns out she had eaten something that had poisoned her total accident as I've had other puppies and dogs and it's never happened before. Easy pet care then sent me my bill off £800 they tried to say they took 3 xrays not according to scarsdale they didn't and they said they gave her pain relief again not according to scarsdale as they said she wouldn't have been crying the way she was.
I argued about the bill with the manager, who nearly got a slap for being such a b.... however after arguing about them saying they had cared for her which they hadn't my bill came down to the agreed £500 I had already signed for.
I should have known to stay away as when I took her 1st for her injections a gentleman outside told me not to use them as they had ripped him off. Personally this practice needs to stop practicing and the ombudsman needs to investigate the vets for incompetence
I took our dog to The Woodley Vet…
I took our dog to The Woodley Vet (Easipetcare) Woodley with sickness and diarrhoea. The vet saw him in the morning, and gave him an injection and some medication to take home. By that afternoon he was a lot worse, with liquid diarrhoea containing blood. I telephoned them and they agreed to see him again. The same vet checked him over, told me he should recover within 24 hours and just needed to rest at home. At this stage he was so weak I had to carry him out to the car.
Within just a few hours, our dog had died.
This vet did not carry out sufficient tests on him to establish why he was so ill, or suggest keeping him in. He was not an elderly or sick dog - just 5 years old.
Please do not risk taking your precious animals to this vets, it's not worth the risk. We trusted them, and our family is now devastated.
Blatantly conned out of £25 for a pill…
Blatantly conned out of £25 for a pill for my dog. I was asked to sign a piece of paper that stated these pills where a human pill but used in vet practices, I explained I had exactly the same pill at home but was told with confirmation from the vet these where slightly different and for animals, so I signed, paid and left but whilst in the vets carpark I checked the pills make etc and sure enough they were the same as i had at home, went back in and politely asked for a refund and was told because I had left the premises (I was in there carpark) they would not refund me. I explained in front of the person who mislead me and I just got the same reply "you left the premises" rudly over and over again.
So I you are in the desperate situation of having to use Chatham easipetcare please be a little more attentive than I was.
Rude and unprofessional staff and vets…
Rude and unprofessional staff and vets with a couldn't care less attitude. Hannah the client manager likes to run her mouth on a power trip to paying customers. I observed her being rude to other staff and overheard her talking rudely about me behind the glass doors to other work colleagues. She can manage clients ok.......straight out the door. I immediately removed my pet and registered with another vet the very next day. I do not pay my good money for services to receive such poor treatment.
Awful place, just awful!
Absolutely outrageous place! My first and only time visiting this veterinary surgery!
Vet was only interested in telling me how much everything was going to cost and how desperately my cat needed said treatments.. hardly examined the cat at all! Took the cat home, after a hefty bill for 1.5 hrs of fluids, and was told if the cat gets worse to take the cat to their emergency sister vets.. I’ve still no clue where it is!
Also, came in with a form for me to sign that was for a completely different customer! Honestly!
Never went back. Avoid like the plague! Oh, it’s filthy as well!
Went recently for a consultation for…
Went recently for a consultation for our dog worried about constant locking was told problem being anal glands needed clearing the cost of the consultation just over 60 pounds was one thing but what was more outrageous was the cost of skin cream for an infection that was claimed he had charging me 47 pounds when we looked online at the same brand of cream not only was it a bigger tube but at a cost of 12 pounds 99p unbelievable I went back to the vets and queried the charge being a mistake and was told that was right the charge given just a warning to everybody don't get the medication from the vets! Your bound to get it cheaper elsewhere as we found yo our cost! Disgusting!!
Lord Brinklow here
Lord Brinklow here. Just wanted to say how great Harlie is on reception. Always interacts well and very chatty and friendly. Shows genuine interest in Harry my Bulldog. A credit to the company.
All the ladies on reception are great to be fair😀😀😀😀😀
A distressing experience during a…
A distressing experience during a heartbreaking time
I’m writing this in the hope it helps others make informed decisions when choosing care for their pets. My experience with Easipetcare in Woodley was extremely upsetting, both in terms of the care my pet received and how difficult it has been to raise concerns afterward.
When my beloved Sandy suffered a head injury and was unresponsive, I took him to Easipetcare. Despite his serious condition, we were sent home with painkillers and antibiotics, having paid £350 and been given a sense of hope. Sadly, Sandy showed no improvement—there was no life in his eyes, and he remained unresponsive.
When I called the following Monday, I was told further blood tests would be needed (£80) and results would take another two days. I couldn't bear the thought of prolonging Sandy’s suffering, so I took him to Beechwood Vets instead. They immediately recognised the severity of his condition and diagnosed a brain injury. Within five minutes, we made the heartbreaking decision to let him go.
To make matters worse, Easipetcare’s complaints procedure requires everything to be put in writing. There's no opportunity for a face-to-face conversation during an already emotional time. This approach felt cold and corporate, with no space for empathy or accountability.
This has been a deeply painful experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I hope sharing it helps encourage more compassionate care and better communication when people are facing the loss of a beloved pet.
Been waiting for a call back from vet…
Been waiting for a call back from vet in regards to my cats blood results.Been waiting nearly 3 weeks.Have contacted vets twice and was told vet would ring me back later that day. After finding out they had taken my contact number down incorrectly ive had no replies since.Cat seems fine but would like to know this after paying £281.00 for blood test, general examination and one worming pill.Very poor service.Wont be using again.
A Very Happy Customer
I was disappointed to see the one star reviews that have been left for Easipetcare Dartford as I have been using them now for over six years and (apart from the occasional grumpy locum) I have always received friendly, courteous, professional and importantly - being a pensioner - cost effective service.
They have always treated my dog (and me!) with care and consideration and both regular and one off visits have always been a pleasure.
I have used several different veterinary surgeries locally over the past 40 years and Easipetcare Dartford have IMHO been the best by far.

Went to vets regarding my dogs teeth vet did not seem particularly interested examined my dog told me she had dislocated hip not true.
Told me needed to have blood test very expensive but was not told why. Gave me antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication did not know what for.
Then advise me to speak to receptionist regarding booking dog in for scale and polish.
The receptionist advised me half price for scale and polish so I booked the dog in. But no costs explained to me then on the day before she was due to go in for treatment received an invoice for £1200.00. Absolutely outrageous just to have scale and polish. I called the vets not very happy and the receptionist advised me the vet would call me back. I have sent 2 complaint emails (No response from vet No call back) seems this practice is only interested in money
