DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS
Wish I could give no stars at all.
I don’t understand why this company have been allowed to carry on trading .. they prey on the elderly as their products are aimed at them. They are a scam company BEWARE... They owe me £17.98 but owe a lot more to some people. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.
DIABOLICAL TREATMENT
Shocking delivery time with false promises.
Eventual arrival of order had broken bottle of disinfectant which spoilt the contents.
Four emails later and not a single reply, I telephoned to be told they could not discuss the order, or the circumstances as it was ordered in my wife's name.
RUBBISH CUSTOMER CARE AND COMMUNICATION
Worst catalogue company ever.
I, like so many others, have been waiting far too long for my order. Clearly Suppliers to this company have just as many problems as Customers. The company should not be in business and probably won't be much longer. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I have never known such disgraceful service.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY: your card details will be used to take funds for a subscription you haven’t signed up for, and your order is unlikely to arrive.
I placed an order in June which I chased up via email last week. I received an automated reply to say that, owing to Covid-19, they were unable to honour the promised three-day delivery. At the time, I accepted this excuse.
On Thursday morning, I received a letter telling me that my two weeks’ trial is coming to an end and that a quarterly payment of £49.99 for puzzle books would be taken from the card I’d used to place my order.
I definitely did not sign up for any subscription, and I’ve checked the offer of a free puzzle book in the catalogue and nowhere does it state that claiming the free gift results in signing up for a regular subscription.
I then discovered yesterday that my mum placed an order in May which she has been chasing up. She sent a cheque for £43.99 but has received nothing.
We’ve been trying to get hold of someone by phone, email, Twitter, LinkedIn, and by post. Phone calls are automated and tell you to call back later.
This company’s primary market is elderly people - less likely to fight back. Just today, I have received more than a dozen messages from people who are also trying to get hold of someone at Easy Life to chase/ cancel orders and query subscription payments.
I’ve also found from a google search that Easy Life Group has been investigated in the past for exactly the same kind of thing.
Zero stars, but one is the minimum I can do.
BEWARE DO NOT ORDER
As previous people have said these people should not even have a star in their brochure they say Trust pilot have rated them great which is total rubbish. We are going to cancel our order but want to make people aware we have just received a letter saying our 14 day trial is coming to an end and if we don't cancel they will take £49.99 from our card as a quarterly payment I cannot find any mention of this anywhere in brochure they are criminals!!!
Very dissapionted
I understand that times are difficult and l was prepared to wait. However l have decided to cancel my order. I have sent emails telling them so. Only to get an automated response. Tried phoning only to be told lines are busy. Yet this morning l received a brochure from them. Ought their priority not to be for orders outstanding than seeking new ones?
BEWARE EASYLIFE
I’ve had to give a star rating to be able to write this review but suggest Trustpilot has negative star ratings.
So wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this dishonest company. I’ve waited weeks for my delivery which was promised in 1 June as as yet have only received one thing - yesterday.
To add insult to injury I receive at least 3 to 4 emails a week offering me exactly the same products I ordered weeks ago. And today a brochure through the post.
There is no way to get through to customer services by phone and left hanging on for hours while paying the phone bill for their complete failure.
Can anyone let me know the name of the CEO and how to make contact with somebody that I can contact and their email address or phone number.
Do not be taken in by this company and consumer protection groups should be urgently looking into this.
The worst company I have ever dealt with
Ordered 4 items on 26th of April -supposedly in stock
Still waiting on 7th July!
Website has said fully allocated awaiting picking for 6 weeks
Took payment from my account but refunded three days later -no communication from company at all
Company has not even bothered to acknowledge 1 letter and 5 E-mails
Phone contact impossible- mostly they say call back later but if you do queue you will be cut off after 60 minutes
Quite simply the worst company in the history of internet shopping even allowing for Corona virus , Avoid like the plague
Yet why are newspapers still taking their adverts when they are clearly not fulfilling any orders?
Have written to the Daily Mail to complain and ask them to review their relationship with this dreadful company
finally received my order from easylife…
finally received my order from easylife took 4 months happy with my order but wont order again
Rubbish company
Ordered several items on 27/5/2020 I have not received anything tried ringing emailed them one response only I have now emailed saying I do not want any items at all still no response worst company I have ever dealt with I give them no stars yet trustpilot give 4&half stars
I wish I could put minus stars, to Easylife.
I wish I could put minus stars.. What an awful company, take my advice steer clear of Easylife. we ordered products, and paid promptly, including carriage at £4.99. we were advised that our products had been dispatched, 3 days after our due date, the products still had not arrived. I emailed several times, rang several times only to be advised I was number 100 in the queue. countless emails & phone call all to no avail. I have STILL not had a response from Easylife. TAKE IT FROM ME GO ELSEWHERE.....
Disgusting state of affairs
My in-laws, who have no internet access, posted an order on 9/5/20, their cheque was cashed on 11/5/20. Still no goods have arrived. I sent a message on their contact form, no response, so I emailed them. I got an automated response stating that no payment would be taken until goods had been dispatched. Clearly untrue as their cheque has been cashed. They suggest phoning them, but you can't get through. My MIL tried and she was 640th in the queue!!
Blaming the pandemic is all very well and good. But they are taking people's money and then not delivering.
All went wrong
Site content good, ordering process OK and prompt confirmation of order and notification of dispatch - then it all went wrong! After a week order hadn't arrived; unable to contact on phone (lockdown excuse) so set email requesting refund. For the next 2½ weeks no phone availability and emails not answered - no refund and no delivery. Eventually resorted to emailing CEO for help and refund sorted within a couple of hours - this shouldn't have been necessary.
Not worthy of 1 star
Not worthy of 1 star! Placed an order on 19th April, order confirmed for delivery 30th April. Not a peep since then. No money has been taken, but why accept an order if you can't deliver the good? After several emails which have had no reply & trying to phone several times, where the waiting time is over an hour, I have cancelled my order. Strangely enough, I have received lots of junk mail from this company & several cold calls from other companies that have obviously come from this order, I know this as it was made in my Mothers name. BE WARNED!
I ordered goods on 17/5/20
I ordered goods on 17/5/20, payment was taken on 2/6/20 , I was told via the phone I would receive goods within 4-5 days and they still have NOT arrived and there is no way to contact the firm to get a refund. DO NOT TOUCH THIS FIRM!
DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY
DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. Ordered goods 15/5/20 still not arrived- 6 weeks later. No notification, no response from emails and cannot get through by phone.
Absolutely Awful
Absolutely Awful
Placed d an order ,they said it was in stock delivery in 3 days. 2 weeks later no order arrived. No reply to form submissions or emails. Can not get through on phone.
But they did send an email to say that the order had been des[atched and would arrive in 3 days. Another 2 weeks later... Nothing. The tracking number they provided is invalid. I still get no reply on the phone and no response to contact forms. Will it arrive one day?? probably not
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Awful experience and unable to contact them to find out where my delivery is as no one answers the phone in customer services or via email. Tried ringing sales to cancel my order and surprise surprise they answered the phone but she said she couldn’t cancel my order. Do not order anything from this company they are useless.
Update
Update. So today it cost me £7.00 to send their goods back i now await the refund, thats a joke that’s probably the last i hear from them. What a dreadful, dreadful company. Ive ticked to let them see my review and i bet they still wont answer.
Very poor customer service
Should zero stars.
Having bought two items from Easylife at the beginning of May I received a phone call from them offering me a chance to join their book club. They would send two books for which I would pay £1.99 postage and get two free books. Thereafter I would get two books a month for about £60 per year. I agreed and £1.99 was taken from my account. However, no books arrived. At the end of May I received a letter saying that they hoped I was enjoying my trial period with their motor club. The trial started the day they phoned me and finished three days before the letter arrived and £59.99 had already been removed from my account. I wrote to them but a month later I have received no response. I phoned customer services and managed to get my money refunded and the memberships cancelled. I also asked for a response to my letter. Two weeks later, and no response to my letter, I get another letter saying that they hoped I was enjoying the benefits of the motor club that could save me £187 per service. I have a Motability car so they can save me nothing as my services are included.
The company seems totally unaware that it takes them two weeks to get a letter from them to the recipient (Royal Mail seems to be operating satisfactorily) so that’s two weeks to get through their office. Also they seem quite happy taking money out of peoples accounts without authorisation, which I believe is fraud!
