Conned

I was trying to book a hotel and every time I tried to pay the page said ‘sorry there was a problem’. I had ask my friend that I’m going away with to make an account and book but when he tried to book (within a few minutes of me) the city view room showed as unavailable and the price had jumped up by nearly £400 with only sea view available. Not wanting to lose the room, he placed the booking.

I then went back on the app on two separate days and the city view room was available again at the original cheaper price. Seems like a con to get more money.

I spoke to customer service requesting to change the booking to what I had originally tried to book at the cheaper price and my request was denied so now I am stuck with a room I’ve paid far more than I wanted to for. We have appealed the decision and waiting for an outcome. Very frustrating as I can still see the room I wanted available to book at a far cheaper price.

Never problems

As l travel often and therefor book hotels often, l know that Ebookers is the best. There are never problems with the booking and the have great rates.
Also can safe on BONUS+
Love the easy webside...

You are lucky (well, I am lucky) that I speak Dutch. I had to do all the booking in this language, I could have made mistakes.

I have frequently used eBookers.be and I have never experienced any problem with this site. The site is easy to use even though I am not French speaking. I have never experienced any problem with making my credit card payment either although I was surprised that I was not requested to use the secure Belfius log in and pin code, only the three digit code on the reverse of my credit card. The secure use of the credit card could be improved.

I couldn't find how to change the booking language to English! I am not sure if everything is correct, and I couldn't see how I could print boarding passes.

My recent booking

I had to call the client service. On the website ,it got very confusing to make the booking I desired. Mr. Giano (Jonathan) attended to my phone call and helped me out with the booking. I am really thankful to him for his patience and expertise as a result of which I will not hesitate to book my future travels with bookers.

Please check well in the description if breakfest is included or not.

Check well the description and do not assume that you'll get the same advantages as described in the standard room of the hotel. Advantage /Reduction was not that big if we had booked our hotel and flight all separated or via ebookers with breakfast a.o.

Bedankt voor uw review. Wij adviseren al onze klanten om inderdaad goed te controleren of ontbijt wel of niet inbegrepen zit in de prijs aangezien ebookers meerdere kamertypes kan aanbieden. Het kan vaak voordeliger uitvallen als u een pakketreis boekt i.p.v. alle producten apart. Dit omdat sommige luchtvaartmaatschappijen een speciaal overeengekomen tarief aanbiedt als dit gekoppelt is met een ander product zoals het bijboeken van hotel. Dit betekent niet dat dit altijd het geval is; het is dus inderdaad verstandig om te kijken wat er uiteindelijk beter voor u uitkomt.

Misleading prices, bad service in case of problems

I often book with ebookers as the website is easy to use and gives a lot of choice. What is becoming more an more problematic is the fact that impossible flight connections are promoted as 'bargain' - but if you have to spend a night waiting for your connection, what's the use?
I made a wrong boking recently - I only discovered after payment that the wrong flight had been booked to Helsinki as flight details do not show up when you pay. THAT MUST BE CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to get it changed and ebookers wanted an upcharge of 700 €, which is ridiculous as the price for the earlier connection was identical. So I'll spend 6 hours in Helsinki waiting for my connection with warmest feelings for ebookers.

till now every thing looks fine

We have choosen a hotel and flight easily and payed by creditcard Nothing special to mention. We have a mail with booking and reservation numbers. So every thing should go smoothly but we can only confirm this on the moment we arrive at the airport or the hotel.
