A poor service. Not reliable for two way video calls or long meetings (for work). Less of an issue for Streamers because of the caching in the streamer apps. I've had multiple issues of loss of servic... See more

The young man TJ
The young man TJ, At the eir store in Scotch hall Drogheda was Extremely Helpful with sorting out an issue I had with my eir contract and billing issues.
An Absolute Gentleman Who Was Very Professional with the way He approached the whole situation.
I will certainly Recommend eire store in Scot hall Drogheda to anyone.
Thank you Regards Anthony
A big thank you to Eddie in the Finglas…
A big thank you to Eddie in the Finglas area for being proactive and persuasive regarding Eir's new offers. He was highly professional and extremely helpful. I’m confident this will lead to a great experience.
Very poor demonstration of customer…
Very poor demonstration of customer service. Asked the same questions repeatedly, then the agent contradicts themselves and indicates the answer can be otherwise. And then contradicts themselves again and asked the question again seeking the answers that had already been given. Serious language issues present. I had to speak very, very slowly so the agent could understand. Shocking, bottom of the barrel support agents and service provided by eir. It's like pulling teeth when communicating with them.
Stay away from Eir
Really regretting going back to eircom..they cannot deliver the service on time but guess what they can provide a temporary service at a (extra) special price..stay well away from them customer service awful
Wish I had checked trust pilot before I…
Wish I had checked trust pilot before I switched from Vodafone!!!! Today is my switch day I was told it was as simple as plugging in the new router. My old internet has switched off and eir is not active yet. I am working from home with no way to get to the office. If they had told me this I would have switched a different day!!!!!! Stay away from eir broadband. I will be cancelling the phone offer I signed up for too!!!! To add to this they refuse to take a complaint over the phone.
55 minutes waiting to speak to someone…
55 minutes waiting to speak to someone about cancelling my broadband. Diabolical!
Then had the nerve to ask me to keep my broadband at a reduce cost of 29.99 per month after charging me 41.99 for the last 2 years!
Awful experience- appaling customer service
Awful experience. Changed mobile and decided to go with Eir- huge mistake. The phone didn't work properly from outset. I rang within a few days as apps wouldn't open- had to uninstall/ reinstall on a number of occasions. Went on holidays and after coming back, again had to call. Of no help and eventually after audio not working one evening, had enough and called to get some proper answers.
I can't cancel my contract without incurring over €1,000 charge. Alternatively, i can drop my phone into nearest Eir shop, they will send off for review and if they decide it's not my fault, they will provide repair/replacement. They said they're not obliged to give me a phone while this is being done. So I have a contract with Eir with a monthly package to provide texts, calls, online etc and they don't give me a temporary phone while they're repairing a faulty handset- How is this legal? Customer service was appaling and just got off a call that lasted over 1hr 15 mins, being passed from one dept to another. Will never use them again when contract finished.

Bullshit I have got my appointment at 5 took day off from work so they can come put broadband in to my house but they didn’t show up

Just got 1000mb fiber broadband from Eir and my best WiFi speed is 190mb tested with Ookla. All promises not getting near what was advertised, bunch of liars.
Avoid eir
Avoid eir, not only poor service, not only the worst customer service experience ive ever had but they are basically thieves they have added hidden charges without any explanation whatsoever it’s a total rip off, I’m not recommending anything else but to avoid.
Their customer service is the pitts
Their customer service is the pitts. I was told I was recontracted but three phone calls and a month later they changed their mind and won’t honour the contract I agreed to
Slow and poor service
Moved to a new house and it took over 3 weeks to get Internet connectivity, absolutely shameful length of time to provide a service. Customer service is poor at best, never offer a solution. Won't be renewing next year.
Landline down with a week
Landline down with a week, no callback or update as to when it will be repaired. Joke of a company
Buyer beware - the store doesn't tell you everything and customer service is appalling. Pay the extra and go with SKY
Issues:
- The store (depending on location) does not tell you that you will not be able to record BBC or RTE
- There is a different cooling off period depending on whether you buy from store or online/phone - I was not informed about this before signing up
- Customer service is apalling, has no authority to enhance the service and can be plain rude. Neither will they give direct answers e.g. Why is the store cooling off period different to the online order
As a result, I want to change provider which is how I first found out about the cooling off difference. When I rang the service, I was met with an uncaring and dispassionate employee who told me it was the rules and regulations of the company, and I would have to go to the store and see if they could help me, but he couldn't guarantee anything. I then asked why I hadn't been told of the cooling-off difference before signing - he could not answer this. I took issue with his attitude and the fact that his voice started to rise. I told him I hope the call was recorded so his behaviour could improve with other customers. I will admit freely I was upset - we went with a deal in good faith to find out standard services with Sky are not offered with Eir (when I was told they were). It was only on troubleshooting that I found this information out - this applies to RTE and BBC, surely these are the most frequently use channels. What about being able to record the LAte Late toy show for our little ones?
As I write this I am speaking with someone who I was told was more senior - noting I asked for someone who could help me understand the policy - I'm give the same answer albeit in a calmer voice. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I have asked for someone with actual authority and am still on hold. Please do not engage with Eir TV.
Poor Service
Just read the reviews people so many other providers would not recommend broadband or sims or their customer service its to late once you have signed up
Don't touch them
A sales representative from Eir called just when my previous contract was up. He was offering 5gb of broadband for €49.95.
I agreed to move to Eir and and an installation date was set up. I then arranged for the cancellation with my previous supplier. In the week before the install I received 3 different calls and a text requesting that I confirm the date. All very efficient, I thought.
On the day of the install I received a call telling me that they could not carry out the work. When I told them that my work and families college depended on WiFi the caller told me that they would contact their manager and get back to me. The call did not arrive and when I called them back they said it would be 11 further days before the work could be completed.
Needless to say I cancelled the contract straight away.
Several friends and family had told me not to touch them with a barge pole. Oh how I wish I had listened.
Awful
Awful, rude company. Waited 3 weeks for WiFi install took day off work they call me at 4pm and say won't be coming. Had to wait another 2 week and take another half day off work. No Dreadful.
Really really bad if it comes to…
Really really bad if it comes to customer service. Finally i wanted to cancel my contract but - what a surprise - it is only possible with a phone call.
People with hearing issues? Never heard of it and never care.
Callcenter with pleasant people? No way.
Ok, finally i made it, i cancelled it. But i cant recommend this company.
Absolutely dreadful experience and very…
Absolutely dreadful experience and very disappointed with fiber broadband as the connection kept circling and dropping.
After waiting 3hrs in a queue as there were 120 in it the tech support were of no help
The installation guy insisted on installing it downstairs despite my request to have it put upstairs as laptop connects better upstairs.
Availed of the cooling off period. Can't wait to be rid of Eir
Considering going with Starlink.
