Save your Money

Customer Service: Irish People are friendly yet the others are so rude(no not racist, facts) and shout down the phone. They refused to let me speak to manager.

Cancellation: They still take your money after contract is finished and items are returned to shop.

Bills: Charges keep going up even though the agreed contract was in place. They blame it on imaginary levies.

Hi there we joined Eir just over six weeks ago and just after the cooling after period there was a fault with our WiFi Connection on Tuesday the 21 st October we rang up Eir first thing Next Wednesday 22nd Day and the Service we got was Diabolical extremely Disgraceful!!!! to say the least we eventually after Contacting them everyday & told by Different Agents different Answer' so Today The 31st October after having no TV or BROADBAND over 10 days a Technician was sent to the wrong part of our estate is the Parade instead of the Walk only that my husband drove past he stopped & asked the Eir Technician is he here for us he mentioned our address & name & he said yes but I was sent to this Address not your one !! Also my husband & I lost time off work as we were sent Messages last 2 nights That A technician is on his way to our place & Never Arrived !!😡😡😡😡we are been Fobbed & Treated Disgraceful!! For this length of time that took a Technican 15 /20 minutes to Fix our Dilemma & there Back logs are getting bad !!

This company is an absolute shambles…

This company is an absolute shambles they are literally robbing people blind for years went back on bill at 65€ a month then received a bill for 101€ and they told me because I went sim free for a few weeks they charged me nearly 40€ I’m charges over certain period I’m absolutely raging I went back with them soon as this contract is up I shall be moving to somewhere else…. Do not go near this company people they are a disgrace

One Star Is Too Kind...

No broadband so reported the issue. Don't answer calls on a Bank Holiday so had to wait til the Tuesday. Was 7th in Q but took 46 mins to pick up despite being Told that the average waiting time was 2 mins! Told up to 3 days waiting time for technician to come out. They came out on Day 2 but still didn't fix it. Then was told by the Bot that there's weather issues in the area and I'm 117 in the Q.

And the Chatbot is COMPLETELY useless

And they can't operate without at Irish phone number. So as I'm a UK resident I'll have to go and get a 2nd phone and SIM.

Can't wait to dump the feckers...

What crap company im using broad band…

What crap company im using broad band all it dos is keep lagging. Thank goodness my contract ends in March never again will I go with them again or advise anyone else to go with them. And they have the nerve to send me emails for 61 euro they can swivel. For a service im not getting I will take this further

Customer service is appalling

Customer service is appalling. You can only contact by phone so you have no paper trail.

Got my final bill and i was €200 in credit. I requested a refund, i was told it would take 10 business days to be processed. Got an email the next day to say the refund had been processed...still waiting on tje money to hit my bank 3 weeks later. When i rang back i was told it shows on their end that the refund was issued so they wont do anything

Broadband is so bad

I had been with Eir mobile for a few years and never found any issues, got the broadband nearly two years ago and up until I ask when my contract was up, it was perfect, now if we want to watch the TV, Netflix etc streaming, we can't be on our phone, this is with the unlimited data package, looking forward to switching next month. Another really frustrating issue is not been able to put mobile and broadband on the same account, therefore I can't pay weekly to avoid large bill at the end of the month. Customer service is a joke, each time you ring you have to explain all over again with promises to fix but it never happens

RUDE RUDE RUDE staff - zero stars if I could!

If I could give zero stars I would - disgraceful customer service, the phone and broadband service works ok but their billing is always more than the agreed package and the refund process is unnecessarily ridiculous! However, the RUDE customer service staff was the worst thing about being with eir - NEVER AGAIN!!’

Inconsistent bills every month

Inconsistent bills every month. No proper explanation for regualr additional charges. A promise that these charges will be removed at the end of the contract yet at the end of the contract, they're not removed - and there is a new excuse made for the charges. Signing up for a €35 p/m contract but being charged up to 150 and different costs every month is unethical and lacks basic transparency.

Signed up in April 2024 here is the real cost…

Signed up in April 2024 for flat package of 75 euro per month to include landline after months of dogged sales calls from their rep. Six months I don't have and never saw landline.....they say technical difficulties with last supplier. Paid bills since April by direct debit but looking at my bank account today they took 122 euro for another August 122 euro for September and to take the biscuit today they took 396 euro for what I don't know... given that I signed for a flat rate package and thanks to them do not and never had landline with them. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH EIR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Unauthorized charge – urgent refund request

I am writing to express my deep indignation and sadness regarding the extremely upsetting situation that occurred recently. On 22/09/2025, an absolutely unauthorized charge in the amount of €79.00 was made directly from my wife's bank account with AIB, despite the fact that our account with Eir had been officially closed months ago.

It is unacceptable that, even after the termination of our contractual relationship, we are surprised with unauthorized debits, without any notice, consent, or justification. As customers who have always honored our commitments, we feel completely disrespected and deceived.

We demand the immediate and full refund of the improperly charged amount. Furthermore, we make it absolutely clear that, in light of such disrespect and negligence, we will never again use any services provided by Eir and will not recommend the company to anyone.

Despite several attempts to contact Eir, no one has responded to us so far. We expect a swift and effective response. Otherwise, we will take all appropriate legal actions.

I came to eir from lyca

I came to eir from lyca. Mobile internet is the worst in my lifetime. Connection gets lost so often it is impossible to talk work from home, talk online, be on a video meeting or even play any games. Looking to change provider asap.

Horrendous service

Horrendous service. Aggressive sales at the front door for broadband, but the fibre is not in the area. Cancelled order & then the operative on the cancellation line hung up on me when I was explaining that you can't advertise something when the infrastructure is not in the area. To anyone considering fibre - be careful not to cancel your existing broadband because these say they will install fibre.

Camilla in the loyalty team was really helpful. Had a problem with my bill and I ended up getting 4GB extra internet subscription for no extra cost. She was clear and concise and very kind. Much better experience than I expected

Useless

Singlehandedly the most useless,good for nothing Internet provider known to man.
Internet been out since storm amy.
Was told on Friday the 10th that it would be back that evening.
Now Sunday the 12th and absolutely nothing.
If I have any advice for anyone, it would be not to sign up for broadband with these,to what can only be described as jokers.
Don't waste your money.

Impossible to get through to customer services!!

Impossible to get through to a human. I opened an account they cancelled it.. TWICE! I was delivered wrong equipment. The technician couldn't install the cable. I gave up and tried to close my account. When I cancelled my account they still sent me a bill. It's taken ages to get through to a human to refund me. This has gone on for weeks. Don't let them anywhere near you!!!
