Excellent customer service
We purchased a recycling bin from Eko in 2019 , but a few weeks age my husband broke the lid . I contacted their Customer Services and they found a replacement for me at a cost of £19, this was a really wuick and easy process , I was kept up to date with parcel tracking and received the lid within 5 days, unfortunately this had been damaged in transit. I contacted customer services again and very swiftly I received an apology and another lid.

I bought an EKO DeLuxe Phantom 45L…
I bought an EKO DeLuxe Phantom 45L Sensor Bin from John Lewis several years ago. I must say I'm very happy with it (I use rechargeable batteries). Visitors are always impressed and often comment. Recently the lids got some marks on them. They got splashed with something corrosive (not sure what it was) and they'd also received a couple of dents from things being dropped on them. I'm happy to report that after emailing EKO Custom Services and emailing Lara and Karen a photo and receipt, I was sent 2 new lids. I did pay £15 in total. They were very easy to fit (using the old screws). My bin now looks as good as new!
PS I noticed they weren't packaged that well (thin double layer of bubble wrap in a plastic bag) so was pleasantly surprised they weren't damaged during transport.

I wish all company’s offered service like this. I cannot thank then enough. Responses were fast and helpful. I had a replacement lid delivered to me for free with in 2 working days and a follow up email to ensure the new lid was working and all ok. I cannot recommend EKO enough.

I special shout to Lara from the customer service team who was extremely prompt and helpful with a slight hiccup we faced with our bin lid. She and the team at Eko went truly above and beyond to resolve the issue.
Bins are excellent
Bins are excellent, we got the bin bags to fit and they fit perfectly, fairly strong bags as well. Got the scent thing to stick to the top of the bin, no horrid smells!

First Class Customer Service!
We have owned our EKO Phantom Delux bin for just over 12 months with no issues at all and it fits in our kitchen perfectly.
Unfortunately the lid developed a fault where it will kill new batteries in a very short period of time, therefore we contacted customer support for advice.
Lara at EKO was so helpful, friendly and the communication was first class. After talking us through some basic self help steps to try resolve the issue, they dispatched a new lid next day and collected the faulty one.
We now have a fully working lid again, I have a happy wife 😉 and the customer service has been amazing... thank you Lara and EKO.

When I contacted EKO about the battery usage in the lid of my sensor bin EKO were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue and offered a new lid at a very reasonable price. The delivery Company misplaced the lid and EKO went to great length to get recover the package which happened after a week and kept me fully informed in direct and friendly communications.

Great customer service experience
Having purchased one of their large, luxurious bins a while ago, unfortunately the hinge on the lid broke so I thought I would see if there was a way for it to be fixed.
It really only required a pin to allow the mechanism to get back to fully working correctly, so I contacted their Helpdesk area.
I found the service representatives to be extremely helpful, charming and funny and they went above and beyond to get the part to me. Whilst they don't really do part replacements, they did manage to source a pin from a previously broken bin and send that onto me. This did indeed fix my issue and the bin is back to working order again.

I love the bin. I NEVER imagined I'd ever spend this much on a kitchen bin, but it is great. We got a Phantom 20+20 recycling bin.
We love the sensor.... a real treat for us. It's a perfect size for our little kitchen. The bags fit really well, and the little hole to tuck them in is genius!
So, any negatives... I'd read the internal bins we're small, and they are. You need to put rubbish carefully rather than "chucking" it in. But that's OK... we should be flat packing boxes anyway so no issues there. It is difficult to, for example, scrape food waste from a chopping board because of the size of the opening, and the surrounding of the lid, but this is nit picking really.
It would have been lovely to get a pack of binliners included, instead of two samples, especially when you think of the price of the bin.
But, I'd buy it again, and totally recommend it!
