Ordered an EKO 40L GREY KITCHEN BIN. It arrived, looked great but there was a small scratch on the lid. I contacted the company, sent a photo and had been sent a new lid with an apology within days. Fabulous service, fantastic product and great customer service. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!

Excellent service ordering replacement sensor bin lid
Needed a replacement bin lid for my EKO sensor bin… it had been passed on as no longer needed so not sure how old it was, batteries just weren’t lasting… contacted EKO by email and by ‘return post’ got helpful things to try but also order details (very reasonable price, including postage and cheaper than buying a new much smaller sensor bin)… ordered immediately, billing instructions were easy and new lid dispatched, arrived exactly when they said it would, with tracking. Very courteous emails, great service. Oh, and bin lid works a treat, the exact one I had originally wasn’t available directly from them, but that was explained and I actually prefer the new one.
Five star customer service & help with a replacement lid
Came home from a holiday to find a leak from an upstairs flat had poured on and into to our Eko sensor bin, wrecking the lid mechanism. Had resigned myself to buying a new one when I took a punt on emailing the company direct and asking if they supplied spare lids. Within a week I had a new one delivered. Lara in customer service was brilliant from start to finish, even checking and packing the replacement item herself. Pricing was more than reasonable and communications were excellent. I haven't had a customer service experience like that in years - a lot of larger companies could learn a thing or two from Eko. Highly recommended.

I saw an item that exactly fitted my requirements, on Amazon. But it was out of stock. So I sourced it to the product's home site, EKO Home, a UK company, based in Marlow.
They had the item, a 12L recycling bin, I ordered it online, and it was with us at dizzying speed, nicely wrapped. And it is exactly as described, well-made and robust, and a pretty colour. The lid fits well, and there is a good handle.

We’ve got an EKO bin for our kitchen. The bin wasn’t cheap but meets our needs in every way as well as looking nice. It’s a sensor bin that opens when you wave in front of it and closes automatically and we’d searched high and low to find one that ticked all of our boxes !
When we had our new kitchen designed, a space was included for the dimensions of this bin, so it’s an integral part of making our new kitchen space work well for us.
We’ve had the bin for about three years and suddenly, it stopped working. So you can imagine how sad we were about it as we’d gone to so much trouble in finding it in the first place. So I contacted EKOHome, who advised me that although they didn’t stock this model, they would try to help me.
I reported the problem through their automated system and immediately received an email with a ticket number. So. After, I received a message from Lara and a dialogue began that spanned two or three days. I was asked lots of relevant questions and kept up to date with progress. Our issue was escalated to their R&D team. Long story short, our bin is now working again. I did end up having to undertake a repair myself, but it was through the discussion and support of Lara and her team that enabled me to do so.
I’m really impressed with the support I received from Lara and her R&D team, I was treated like a valued customer all time. Communication is second to none. My wife and I are very happy to have got our bin working again. Thanks guys, I’m really grateful.
Fantastic Service!
I ordered 2 bins from EKO which arrived within 24 hours. The bins were nice, but having opened them I discovered that they were slightly too tall to go in the recess under the kitchen worktop - my fault for not checking first. However, when I contacted EKO to see about returning them for a refund they couldn't have been more helpful - they responded immediately, provided multiple return options of which I chose the one which resulted in the bins being collected from my home on a day of my choice, and confirmed receipt of my return and refund. Communication and service throughout my experience of purchasing through EKO was truly excellent.

Nice bins
Whilst I balked at the price, I am really pleased with my purchase. I sits there, snugly in the corner and looks nice. I’ve only had it a few days and it appears to work well without any issues. I also bought the freshener discs, can’t really smell them, but I can’t smell the bin contents either - so maybe they’re doing what they’re supposed to do. Promptly dispatched and well packaged.

Immediate and helpful response to my email at the customer services department. I asked for a replacement top for the bin, sensor controlled. It was suggested to me they could potentially replace a part rather than the whole top of the bin, saving a lot of money. The bin was in a holiday home so I dealt with the customer services team over a few months. It became like dealing with a couple of friends. Great service in todays world and it was such a pleasure to deal with this company. Every time I see the EKO brand I will have a good feeling. Thank you

Broken pedal replacement
The pedal on our bin broke during a house move. After enquiring with the customer service, they promptly helped, and, aided with pictures, advised that we could change the pedal. They sent a video showing how to change the pedal. It all happened very promptly and the customer service was outstanding. So pleased our bin is working again! Would highly recommend.

We have purchased EKO X Cube Kitchen Bin in 2021 and were very happy with our purchase but recently the pedal broke and the lid stopped responding to pressing the pedal. After contacting the customer service, they responded almost immediately, and following the photos-based quick inspection they determined the issue with the pedal and sent the replacement pedal within 2 days for free. We managed to install the new pedal in seconds based on the provided instruction and continued to use the bin!
I highly recommend EKO’s products not only for the design and functionality, but also for the after sales care.
Excellent after sales customer service
I bough the Galleria sensor 9L bin back in 2021 which has been working well. Unfortunately, the lid malfunctioned a few weeks back. I noted that the bin comes with a 3 year warranty so I contacted EKO to see what my options were. They responded very quickly with an initial list of troubling shooting ideas. These did not solve the problem so I sent through photos and videos which they escalated to their R&D team who confirmed the sensor had malfunctioned. A replacement bin was offered immediately and dispatched within 24hrs. Customer services sent an additional email to the standard DPD one to say it should be with me soon. Once they were notified it was delivered EKO contacted me to check everything was as I expected and working properly. Excellent customer service with a personal touch. I would definitely recommend their products for this alone!

Phantom Deluxe 45litre Kitchen Bin…
We ordered the Phantom Deluxe 45 litre Kitchen Sensor bin, very quick delivery with the bin protected with very substantial packaging.
It is way better than on our existing bin as the Phantom Deluxe bin has an internal bucket with recessed handles making it easy to lift out for removal of the bin liner.
The sensor opening double doors are smooth and quiet with no clanging or banging when opened or closed.

Customer service for replacement parts
Contacted EKO home on the off chance they had a spare part for my Horizon bin that had suffered some damage at home. I recieved a prompt reply within an hour to inform me they did have the part I needed and I was given clear information about how I could order and pay for it. The part was sent out to me freepost. Excellent communication and customer service. Very happy to have my bin fully operational again.
