Thank you for your help! I hadn’t bought travel insurance before, but here I saw an advertisement and after reading I chose the option that I liked. And here on my vacation I ended up in the hospital. They helped me arrange everything and I received a refund.

I contracted with this insurer for a trip in Indonesia. After my injury, they always took ages to respond to my emails and Facebook messages. They said my case had been sent for payment - well, what kind of international transfer takes 5 months to arrive to a bank account?
Ekta is a very shady and fishy organisation, don’t waste your time & money!

You insist you are already waiting for 5 months. However, in reality, we received your claim on 28.04.2022. On 20.05.2022 you have submitted the full set of documents required for payout. Positive decision about payout was done after verification on 30.06.2022 and a compensation was transferred to your account.
Once again, your transfer has been done already and we have done everything so you could receive your compensation at the earliest.
In spite of we cannot influence international bank transfers, we are truly sorry that you had to experience these inconveniences.
Sincerely hope, you will receive compensation at your account soon.
I wouldn't contract Ekta another time
One month ago I wrote a weird review about Ekta because I had two injury cases here in Mexico and the insurance was not replying to my e-mails anymore.
After my bad review here they immediately contacted me and told me that if I changed the review they send the refund.
I told them that it was the opposite. As they sent me the money I would change my review.
So here I am, being responsible with my word.
They finally sent me a refund.
I have to say I don't feel safe with this insurance. I had 3 difficult months with my health and I didn't feel the support I needed. The insurance was a stress more to deal with in a moment I was really weak.
This is my experience with the company.

Scam definition: An illegal way of making money by tricking people.
I am supposed to travel for Romania on July 17th. I purchased the insurance from this company and it was a total mess from start to end.
1. They sent me the insurance for another individual.
2. That caused me to buy the insurance from another company
3. I asked my money back and they miraculously generated the "right" insurance which is nothing but a piece of paper that cannot be used in any hospital
4. They of course refused to pay me back the money
This company is a fraud, a scam, they don't post any details about how the insurance can be used in hospitals and who will pay, their documents are a joke, the insurance paper is completely useless. I'm shocked that they're still active on the market.

Have been working with them for a long time now. Serious approach to clients, but most important thing is - all payments are done in time without tons of questions and bureaucracy. Strongly recommend these guys.
