Packaging was poorly established for…

Packaging was poorly established for the 3000 mile transfer from your location in Florida to Central Oregon. The battery was sliding around in the box with only paper on top. I’m hoping none of the cells have been damaged from bouncing around. I would recommend using foam spray bags, for a safe fit with no sliding and better protection.

The “Universal charger” that was sent…

The “Universal charger” that was sent only charged my defiant once and i had my bike die on me and whenever i plug it in it reads as fully charged

Hi Antwann - Sorry to hear that you are having issues with charging your battery. Most often, the issue is not with the charger (which is supplied by JupiterBike and is definitely compatible with your Defiant) but with the battery. We have phoned you and left a message to give us a call so that we can get to the bottom of your issue. (See the note below regarding "re-awakening" a sleepy Lithium Ion battery)
Customer Support Team

Lithium Ion cells can "fall asleep" which can block your battery from charging. You can wake the cells up by following these steps:

1) Place the battery in your freezer for 24 hours. It's okay if you're a bit over.
2) Let the battery thaw 6-8 hours. Please try to stay in this range, the timing on this step is important.
3) Charge the battery as you normally would until the light on the charger turns green. Please note that this can take up to 24 hours. Please unplug if the charger is still red after 24 hours.
4) You're good to go!

You can also contact Jupiter Bike Tech Support at 813-609-2453 opt. 4 if you have questions or problems with this procedure.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!

The company is AWESOME! They processed my order quickly & my bike was CAREFULLY packed with extremely easy to read instructions. AND IT WAS FLAWLESS. It's very rare that I offer my opinion but in this case, no words could describe how pleased that I am with the quality of the bike & service that I was given. As a matter of fact, I believe that the bike easily out performed my expectations. And in the near future when I purchase ANYTHING electric it is the Company that I will turn to & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I ordered a rack for the back of my…

I ordered a rack for the back of my bike, but it never came. I order again and I was sent one that does not fit. I can't seem to order one for my style of bike. My Bike is a Jupiter Bike Defiant. If I ever get the correct one, I want to order one for my second matching bike.

Hi Jim - Checking our records, you pre-ordered one JupiterBike Defiant rack (and then added a second rack to your order) in July. These are currently on backorder and, according to JupiterBike, should ship later this month. More recently, you also ordered a JupiterBike Discovery X5 rack. This rack is made for the Discovery X5 only and does not fit the Defiant. If you wish to return this rack while waiting for the correct ones to arrive, please let us know.

Poorly made bike

The bike came with damage headlights. Rack assembly is hard to fit to frame. Center shaft has a strip bolt and so now i will have to try to fix the bike first. Dont buy from this company with poor quality made bikes.

Ecotric Hammer bike

I purchased the hammer bike in July of 2022.
Great bike and some accessories for it. I broke the controller brackets trying to move it on my handlebars and I couldn't find any more in the accessories to replace. Be careful once you install it on the handlebars don't try and move it like I did.

Elegance

I love my ebIke. I chose a 22” for my height of 5’ 1” and I’m a senior.
I wanted to be able to control it instead of it controlling me.
I’m very happy with my purchase. I ordered a rear view mirror to see behind me.
I put my cell phone & water bottle in the basket.
My son put it together for me, assembly was easy.
I hope to get many years of bike riding from my e bike.

I like the bike but was disappointed…

I like the bike but was disappointed that it didn’t have the safety items other bikes have; front and rear lights. Also no USB port to charge external devices (lights). Also that I could only get white as a color. That you can only order a limited amount of accessories, it was hard to figure out what will fit the bike and I have had to return baskets and racks that didn’t fit. I haven’t rode it yet as I’m waiting on items for it. Also no walk setting. I bought the bike from the place that makes them.

With respect to the basket that you are returning it is only for the JupiterBike Discovery X5 as mentioned on our product page. It appears the bike you purchased elsewhere was the Atlas model. JupiterBike does not currently stock a rear rack for that bike.
