Poor customer service
Poor customer service. We placed an order close to £500 on Thursday. Website offered next day delivery. Here we are at the end of Friday and we don't have the order (it's being stuck along the way allegedly, but we don't know for sure). Seller wants me to pay extra go get it on the following day (Saturday) as they don't see this as their responsibility.
Dear seller: that's not a good business model to blackmail your customers for an extra payment for a delivery you failed to make...

We understand how important timely delivery is, especially with a substantial order like yours. As mentioned, your order was dispatched promptly from our end on Thursday, and the tracking information—provided to you via email—confirms this. Unfortunately, the delay occurred after dispatch, due to the parcel being held at the local Parcelforce depot. We rely on third-party couriers for delivery, and whilst we do our best to ensure everything runs smoothly, occasional delays can occur that are beyond our control.
Regarding Saturday delivery, Parcelforce charges a premium for this service, and as such, this cost is passed on directly by them. We never charge additional fees carelessly and certainly not as a means of "blackmail," as suggested.
We do appreciate your order and totally understand how frustrating this must be.
We will be following up with the courier and will keep pushing for better service for our customers.

Ordered 4 tubes of titan epoxy paving grout
One tube the lid was broken on delivery.
After using three tubes the fourth would not mix up properly. Rang on Saturday to number on web site. They said that she couldn’t help but would get someone to phone us back on Monday. She took my husbands name and phone number.
Monday came with no phone call off them as they had promised, so we rang element shop and talked to the manager of customer services . She said there was no record of us phoning on Saturday. I said I could screen shoot our phone log to prove we phoned but she was not interested She said she needed a video of us mixing the product. I explained I can not turn back time to do this as it was now Monday. She basically didn’t believe me and said she needed evidence that the product was faulty. We had thrown the tubes in the skip and I said I could take it out of skip and take photos of the defected product they supplied us. She said that they would then contact there supplier and that this is the processed. The customer service manager attitude was very rude disrespectful and dismissive. Very disappointing experience with this company and would not recommend them.

The call you made on Saturday was handled by our out-of-hours team, who aren’t able to assist directly but do pass messages to our in-office staff. We’re sorry if this wasn’t clearly communicated at the time.
As explained, we do require evidence -such as photos or videos- of any product faults to investigate with the manufacturer. This is part of our standard process and ensures issues are handled fairly. Without this, we’re unable to proceed with a replacement or refund.
We understand this may be frustrating and appreciate your understanding of the process we must follow.
