Helpful, polite and courteous

I've used a number of auction houses and Elmwood's is by far the most helpful. They include shipping options within their invoicing which is an option but not obligatory. I've not known this before. Polite and courteous throughout.

I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO BUY AT ELMWOOD´S AUCTIONS. IT IS EASY AND STAFF IS HELPFUL. PICTURES IN THE CATALOGUE ARE CLEAR. VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE LIKE ME NOT ABLE TO VIEW THE ITEMS. THEY ARE VERY FLEXIBLE, IF YOU WANT TO PICK UP YOUR ITEM AT YOUR FAVOURITE TIME EVEN THEY HAVE ANOTHER AUCTION GOING ON.

Dreadful experience but now I believe they want to help.....

I’ve spent a lot of money with Elmswood and was generally happy up until I bought a £29,000 necklace. It came was the wrong size and when I complaint about the discrepancy I was told it’s an auction. Unfortunately they do not belong to any body and the only available consumer credit Ombudsman tell me that the auctioneers can do what they like. I am now in negotiation again so I have promised them to remove my review.
