I have been a member since the Lutz location opened and it is my experience that anytime you make a change something gets messed up! I decided to move to a family plan and was told all my amenities w... See more

I have 3 memberships with EOS for…
I have 3 memberships with EOS for almost 3 years. They are all paid on the same credit card. For the last 4 months EOS has only billed 2 of the 3. The sent the 3rd into collections. My credit card says nothing has never been declined on my account to them. They have canceled the 3rd membership and want to charge us double to reinstate the account.
Cold air too much wind
Peak hour overload, the same with all. But if you want to know pain, exercise and build a sweat with cold air blowing on you. They keep temp down - great, but they have huge ceiling fans that forcibly blows cold air on you - leaving you aching after a workout.
The gym is rarely cleaned and thuggish…
The gym is rarely cleaned and thuggish clientele will hold equipment they're not currently using. Other than that, I had no complaints until they stopped being open 24hrs. I was not on contract. I had to change my payment info and it was impossible to do online due to their convoluted third party payment system. I went in person to change my payment info. I was informed the payment was due yesterday and I'd have to pay additional $15 on top of the $28. That's over 50% late fee on a payment that's not even 24hrs late. Not to mention I'M NOT ON A CONTRACT. How's there a late fee on a payment I had no obligation to make? So, I asked to cancel my membership and I was informed they could not do that. I would have to call a number to cancel my membership. That call was routed to somewhere in India where the representative was barely comprehensible. It took 20mins to finally cancel my membership. They sent me a confirmation then a bill charging my over $100. So it went from $43 at the gym to pay to over $100 after I cancelled. I talked to Chris at the gym where he said he'd wave the fees if I'd just pay for one more months dues. Even though it's not right to ask me to pay for time I'm not using, I agreed. Took time out of my day to go in and fulfill my part of the agreement and paid the $28. Chris then reneged on our agreement and everyday since then he has been trying to steal another $68 from my account by attempting to charge my debit which I had to turn off and now have to replace. It took me all of ten minutes to find a better and reputable gym nearby.
This Gym is a scam DO NOT LEAVE A CR CARD NUMBER
This Gym is a scam. I was using BCBS Silver sneakers program. Manager Erick Santiago told me a credit card on file was required to Join. He lied about everything. I recently had hip surgery and did not need a PT. I made several attempts to get with Erick but they have moved him to another gym. I am only getting the run around. I have no choice but to seek help from a news station.
EOS and their fraudulent sales tactics
Eos fitness is such a fraudulent establishment. Do not go to this gym! The moment you try signing up for their gym you have immediately become a target and at the mercy of the general who WILL lie to you and make you sign a contract that you cannot get out of. No matter what you do or say you will end up signing a contract with fine print that you cannot decipher that will end up costing you over $2,000 and all you really wanted was to use the facilities. You didn’t want personal training but they forced you to sign up for it anyways and they purposely don’t tell you the cost. They’ll tell you it’s $19 for 4 sessions, leaving out the part where you’re going to be charged for 4 months of sessions whether you want it or not. I had to close my checking account in order to stop the charges from being taken out of my account.
Be cautious of your pocket while doing business with this company
The manager at this location is the worst I’ve encountered. He lacks any sense of customer relations and is, frankly, dishonest. As someone in the customer service business myself, I understand the importance of going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this location does not seem to share that philosophy. I strongly advise others to carefully review their bills, as I’ve found their practices questionable.
We were previously with Mountainside Fitness, and their customer service and billing practices are a thousand times better than what EōS offers. They are not rip-offs like EōS has proven to be.
Do not sign up for personal trainer and avoid Tustin Branch
I had an awful experience with Tustin branch in Orange County due to their unprofessionalism and deceptive practices. I signed up for personal training, and the manager failed to inform me of the contract terms, which is a clear violation of transparency and business ethics. After reviewing the contract on my own, I discovered terms I wasn't aware of. Within three business days, I returned to cancel the membership, but the manager was unavailable. I spoke with a staff member at the front desk, who assured me that they had noted it in my account and that I would receive a refund of $280.
Despite this, they continued to charge me $280 biweekly. As of today, September 7th, nearly two months after I signed up, the issue remains unresolved. I have spoken with staff multiple times, yet the charges keep coming, which feels like outright fraud and deception.
Additionally, the gym’s cleanliness is unacceptable. The restrooms are consistently dirty, and the showers are filthy. It's so bad that you might prefer avoiding the facilities altogether.
If you’re considering this gym, I highly recommend going to the Fullerton branch instead—it’s much cleaner and better managed.
EOS condones bullying and harassment without consequence
Myself and many other gym members were harassed by another member over a long period of time, where formal complaints were filed and the member was allowed to continue being a nuisance to other members. Formal complaints for this member resulted in multiple letters to threaten termination without revocation. There are documented occurrences that I specifically know of on 8/25/23, 10/7/23, and ultimately a final event that was directly pointed at me on 2/20/24. During this last instance I was alone in the group fitness room and this member was getting in my face over where I set my water bottle. I tried to ignore it given it was a water bottle but the continued instigation led me to tell her to stop acting like a petty b-word. In the eyes of EOS this single statement was enough for them to apply a lifetime ban to my membership. Had they been so vigilant when the other member in any of the other occurrences this situation would have never happened. I’m a good person who let my frustration get the best of me. I’ve admitted my wrong in the situation and have formally appealed but there has been no response from EOS. In addition, the week of 3/5/24 multiple other members and EOS instructors have sent letters on my behalf as the retaliation being leveraged against me is unjust. I would like to understand why EOS allowed bullying and harassment to take place over the course of months while executing a standard disciplinary path for one member and even though that member was the instigator I was punished with maximum severity, having had no prior issues with the gym until that point. Stay far away from EOS as they condone bullying and harassment amongst members without consequence.
Terrible Personal Trainer Program
The gym itself is not too bad. I signed up for their personal trainer program, and my trainer is always late and would cancel my session without telling me a few hours before our sessions start. I didn't get the signup bonus they promised. The trainer rarely responds to my text, zero communication. Avoid using their services.
Personal Training Problems and NO Customer Service
Signed my daughter up for personal training took me calling several times and over three weeks to get her assigned to a trainer but they had no problem charging us for sessions we couldn’t use. She was then in a serious car accident, was in ICU, and was unable to work out for a few months was told contact was put on hold but they continued to charge. They even continued to charge after contact ended even though sessions were not completed from initial contract. Due to the fact her dad condition was much more serious it took me a while to get around to contacting them and canceling contact. Even after I cancelled still charged. So contacted them and eventually disputed after no response. Then they were threatening us because I did what I said I would do. We paid over $5,600 and they couldn’t even tell me accurately how many sessions she had available. They only cared to tell me it is what the contact said. Well the contact said she had 12 months to use sessions but apparently she had sessions expire. Now because I disputed the charge after the contract they are saying we can’t get them back. It has been a nightmare.
Bottom line go somewhere else they don’t deserve your hard earned money. They don’t respect it and don’t have any customer service.
The gym is a scam
The gym is a scam, they told you can start and tried the gym for a month without contract you just need to sign some paper for liability. Instead they give to you contract to sign and they don’t let you cancelled without a lot of money of penalties. They do on purpose I will say is a frode.
You Won't Be Welcome If You Have A Disability
The staff only care about selling you a membership. I canceled my membership after my first day as a member at the gym. The staff would rather hang out with fellow employees or be on their phones than to help you.
I am disabled and I found it very difficult to try and get help when I came in andvthey told me to download the app to sign in. When I told them I was struggling to get the app, they told me I could sit on the couch while I worked on it. I'm 50 so I know some tech stuff but they could have at least offered to come around and show me what to do. I appreciate the couch so I didn't have to lean on my walker the whole time but I'm sure it took me so much longer to get the app and login versus one of the three staff members at the desk helping me and not just standing there talking to one another and ignoring me.
I saw an assistant manager in an office and went in to speak with him aboutbthe situation at the desk and he couldn't be bothered to stop texting on his phone.
The other issue is that because of my disability, I was signing up solely because of the indoor pool. I was told during my tour before I joined that it was a heated pool. The day I went in as a "member", I got in the pool to find out it was either not a heated pool or the water heater was not working. It was very cool water.
The members of the staff were so dismissive of me. I'm sure they don't care about one person canceling their membership after one day because they already charged me the annual fee. And if you have an issue with this company, you can't tmreach out to their corporate website.
There are many fitness gyms in the Coral Springs, FL area. I suggest you go to a place that appreciates their members and treat them as humans. Especially if you have a disability, I would definitely advise you go somewhere else.
My EOS Fitness monthly fee went up as…
My EOS Fitness monthly fee went up as well as my annual fee, and was not in alignment with my contract. I was just charged my annual fee today, and contacted my location to discuss the increased fees. I was told that it was a corporate decision a few months ago, and that there is nothing I can do about it. I asked to have my account cancelled and to refund my annual fee that was just charged. I was told that EOS Fitness would not refund the annual fee. I asked to speak with the corporate office, and was told that they are moving and that I cannot talk with someone from the corporate office.
Can’t trust a business like Eos Fitness…
Can’t trust a business like Eos Fitness when the general manager Deejay at Katy branch is deceptive and bullies her clients! She is dating Tyler the trainer there which is a conflict of interest! This manager is self-serving and manipulative. Every issue I have inquired about is dismissed! The gym is extremely dirty under her watch! I have called numerous times to upper management and nothing has been done about these issues.
I joined the Meyerland EŌS about 1 year…
I joined the Meyerland EŌS about 1 year ago. They advertised a decent price, but things like towels were extra, there were lots of hidden costs, and the real price was not so great. In Meyerland none of the equipment has a TV so using the treadmill while you’re trying to watch the one far from you on uninteresting topics with no sound is not enjoyable, but the woman who signed me up assured me they had lots of yoga and other classes for women my age. After I signed up I looked on line and found they actually had next to none, but she kept on assuring me then and every time I went in that many classes for people my age were coming very soon. That NEVER happened. I think what bothers me most was that they LIED. Then they called to tell me my credit card expired and asked for a different way to bill. I went in the day they contacted me and gave them another card. They said there would be no problem since I addressed the issue right away. Today I got my bill. They charged a late fee of 50% over my regular fee. I’m having a hard time trusting anything they tell me. I quit. DO YOU WANT TO GO TO A PLACE YOU CAN’T TRUST? I don’t. Read their reviews. Most written by real customers are awful.
Everyone treats you like family
coming into the gym everyone treats you like family the atmosphere. gym members are super friendly/ polite.
the locker rooms are super clean.
Scammers! Open multiple accounts without consent and refuse to cancel
Signed up for a membership and they asked if I wanted to add a member. Went to cancel after not using my membership and they said pay a fee to cancel. Did that and they never cancelled and furthermore triple charged me. When I confronted them they lied and claimed that’s the fee to cancel. Well no given the documents I received said otherwise. Showed them the email and got refunded. Now I’m still being charged and come to find out when I added a member they created an entirely different membership for my husband and had just racked up backpay. Saying I owe 75 now. After I paid to cancel. BEWARE.
The best tour of a fitness center …
The general manager Haziel was the reason I signed up. Haziel gave me a tour of the facility. He’s knowledge and technique are unequivocally the best. Haz is very personable and will make you the best deal he can offer with in reason. This gym offers state of the art equipment, however, I have been in and out of gyms for over 25 years and Haz made all the difference in my opinion.
Hawaiian Garden location
this review is for their Hawaiian Gardens location. i had signed up at pre opening apprx April 2021. thought i was supporting local business. given them my cc ‘to lock in my rate’ and was told that once they opened they would notify me. fast fwd a few months and zero notifications later, i start noticing random billings on my credit card statement. havent had a chance even to come in for a single workout even. when i contacted Hawaiian Gardens, they referred me to an unavailable contact in San Diego. that i could never get a hold of. not knowing how to stop the billing process otherwise. i contacted my cc. my credit card company tried to claim billing error on less than a handful of charges out of many charges. fast fwd a few more months. EOS 3rd party billing sent my acct to collection. this nightmare never ends
Do not waste your money here.
This review is meant for their new Riverview location. The sauna has been broken for over a week now. I just asked when it would be fixed and they are “waiting on the parts”. Brand new facility and you can’t even keep up with the equipment. New machines are already broken as well and have remained broken. This gym may like nice from the outside. But from the inside it’s a dump. They only care about signing up new people.
