I considered that getting a reverse mortgage could turn into a nasty experience with the wrong representative. I initially contacted a competitor and recognized that the person I was dealing with was a little off-handed and not detail oriented. I contacted Equitable Bank and was put in touch with Agnes Letkeman. Agnes impressed me with her scope of knowledge, her prompt and professional customer service skills, and her evident care for clients. i had alot of questions at first,but after talking to Glenda about reverse mortgages i was at ease.although going through the process,is hard work on both sides,i still think it was worth it.alot of papers had to be signed and initialed ,mabie thats a place they could cut back on in the future. equitable bank was a little confusing but after a phone call or 2 things were straighten out thanks to all going to enjoy our retirement.

I'll be honest, we were very reluctant to take a reverse mortgage and the reason is that I did not understand how it works. They provided incentives and lower rates, all contributing to their winning the business.

I like this bank. They do not charge any fee for e-transfers.

I first applied to a competitor which was disappointing but at the same time it was a God sent message.

Great Bank, ideal alternative to the big 5 banks

I was very nervous about applying for a reverse mortgage but was tired of never having any extra money. Glenda made me feel like I was doing the right thing and made the process very easy to understand. I really appreciate how professional and caring she is. I’m so glad I got to work with her.
