My experience with them was satisfying and limited up to now as I have just passed their KYC process. I only am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars just because i don;t know them well yet. Should i know them better and see that they re behaving the way they did up to now, i would come back and give them 5 stars.
My experience from the so many KYC i have been passing online, tells me that they deal it with it in a professional yet flexible manner overcoming issues that "extreme" adherence to the rule of law would raise unnecessary bureaucracy!

I've been very pleased with Etana Custody, they offer an inexpensive and efficient way to move money from my bank to/from the Kraken exchange. I've completed multiple transactions (well over 10) and never had an issue. Whenever I've needed to reach out to customer support they've answered promptly and addressed all of my concerns. A reliable and excellent service.

How long will this take?
I withdrew my funds from kraken to Etana on the 30/04/2022 and further preceded to withdraw my funds to my UK bank account. I received a confirmation that my funds had been sent on the 03/05/2022 and that it would take 3-5 business days to clear in my account. I am now on day 13 and since then I haven't received my funds yet. I have spoken to customer support and they have been responding well, but we are no closer to finding out where my funds are at present. I have asked my bank for help to try trace the wire transfer, and they said it's hard for them to trace it on their end. Etana has requested a trace from their bank supposedly but they say it can take another two weeks to get a response from the corresponding bank. I understand these things take time, but these problems should be avoided I desperately need these funds as anyone else would when requesting funds, hence why we request them in the first place. I very disappointed my ticket number is 327346.

As a new customer I faced some issues in the registry process, so I wrote to support and I got a rapid answer and usefull.

they do exactly as described. i had no issue with etana. i sent the money friday afternoon and it was credited to my etana account tuesday. i could transfer it to the broker immediately. the broker credited it within 2 seconds. etana deducted a small fee from the wire.
it was a good experience.
i will use etana again.

Awesome clear articles and the support they provide is amazing they follow up with you via email I was having question after question and they helped answer all my doubts and made it clear as water.

Excellent service, very prompt and helpful. I think many of the bad reviews are from people who were simply impatient about their transfers taking days to go through. They always do, however, and Etana can't do anything about that after they've sent them off. There are also complaints about their somewhat demanding application process, but there's nothing wrong with their being careful on something like this.

I won't lie - this is not the quickest or easiest application to complete. It takes a fair amount of work. You have to submit quite a few documents, so be prepared to persevere.
But this is where the team made it tolerable. They will help you out by keeping track of the documents you need and helping you with specific questions. They answer promptly and give detailed responses.

I gave Etana 3 stars and not 5 stars because, YES, they solved my issue but it took them months, literally. ( and I´m not exaggerating). So, yeah, it´s a good service , I just wish it was faster. Miha K. Comarella from Brazil
