ETAX WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Update: After submitting complaints to TPB, ATO and notifying etax that we are speaking with QLD police to possibly raise theft case they eventually send money they hold back to ATO. Also additionally while they trying get a hands on my tax return, ATO had notified us they have removed themselves from ATO system as my tax agent which could potentially being interpreted as fraud. TPB and ATO keep investigating....
Be careful dealing with that company better DO NOT DEAL AT ALL, HIGH RISK IF YOU HAVE SUBSTANTIAL RETURN!!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They hold money received from ATO not transferring to me under different disguies. Lodged complaint to TPB, ATO and considering go to police. They been terirble to build initial return and their so called "accoutants" have no idea about correct expenses categories. They been corrected several times by ny CPA accountant who is doing accounting for me and my business. After recieving money still holding as they say pending internal review which already lasted for days. They use phone numbers identified as a spam callers, no email comms, only chat or their "internal" system. Be mindful, do not submit returns with fair amounts through them.

As soon as we received your review, we escalated your file to a senior accountant so we could look into your concerns straight away. Our team leader has since been in touch to discuss the situation and provide an explanation.
Unfortunately, as a registered tax agent, we must follow the ATO’s strict requirements about the evidence needed to make certain claims on your tax return, and we apologise if this process caused frustration. Please know our goal is always to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients but only when that outcome conforms to the relevant taxation legislation.
As you indicated you were unwilling to answer our requests and were abusive to us on the phone, we can no longer act as your tax agent.
We then informed the ATO that we were no longer your tax agent - this means any further correspondence about your tax return will come directly to you rather than us.

Fees NOT disclose!
As my first tax return I used this service under the impression that it was a free service, there was no mention of a fee, the site looked like an official government site. The total tax I paid for the year was $258.00 this service cost me $109.99, leaving me with a refund of only $148.01. I had no deductions as I was told that would make no difference to my refund as I was entitled to the whole amount. Very disappointing for a young, low income earner.
