Very disappointing service
Very disappointing service. Have been a client for some years but this year - weeks to reply. Customer Service disconnects Chat, assessment delayed and yet they still insist on a Lodgement Fee for this “service” disappointing bordering on criminal. In their ow words they are swamped with work and don’t have the resources and yet they’re vigorously advertising!
Now they are lying in their responses!

This is my second from Etax I can confidently say, as long as they're around, I'll never switch to anyone else for tax time. I have used Etax for as long as I can remember and I can honestly say, for as long as they’re in buisness, I will not go anywhere else for tax time. Stop using Etax or you will end up with…
Stop using Etax or you will end up with debt and payable to ATO that you're not sapouse to pay but to earn the tax return. They take your money (even charged more if you need more help & that b.sht) and even more worse they are not responsible for any shit happens after... Beware with Etax, avoid it...

HECS debt...
I am an Australian living abroad and had to complete my 2023-2024 tax return for 2 months of living in Australia that year, and to also pay back some of my compulsory HECS payments. They gave me a bill of $6,500+ AUD... I thought this was wrong - questioned them beyond measure and in the end I paid it as I was just overwhelmed and confused. I then received ANOTHER bill of $2,500 AUD.
I finally contact an actual accountant who has since amended it to me owing $600 AUD for HECs and that is IT! How the hell was it THOUSANDS different?
Same with my sister - her return was only $28 but when she wouldn't give up questioning them they then said it was their error and she should receive $1,000... which again, another accountant has said it should be more.
I guess for such a cheap service, what can we expect? DON'T USE. Just pay for a proper service to receive legitimate and quality services.
