I was told I could not receive a refund…

I was told I could not receive a refund from a transfer service that was booked the day of the hurricane. I was not warned that the hotel I wanted to be taken to would be closed by the eTransfers representative until after paying for the service.

Very comfy SUV

Very comfy SUV! We road from Cancun Airport to Playa del carmen. Only downfall driver was 20 minutes late and didn't let us play music!

I would walk across fire before ever…

I would walk across fire before ever using this company again.

Everything was great on the 1st leg of our round trip. We had to remind the driver we paid for the package with the beer and water.

On the return, we got stuck on Cozumel because they closed the ferry due to tropical storm Gamma. Being from Mexico, you know that nothing is for sure. So every day we tried to reach the mainland and the ferry was closed for 3 days because we were then getting hit with Hurricane Delta. So we had to call everyday and or message to get our transportation changed. Everyone was very cooperative. So Monday I spoke with someone on the phone and she said there was another couple having the same problem. She wanted us to call when we got on the ferry Tuesday because she said the ferry takes 40 minutes to get to Playa Del Carmen and it would take them 40 min to get there. So we would be arriving at the same time. This was wonderful and we planned on catching the 9am ferry so we could catch our transportation to get to the airport.
Tuesday I messaged on Whatsapp and said we were on the mainland at 10:49. We received a reply instantly asking if we made it to the mainland and I replied yes. I sent a photo of the street corner near the ferry that we were at. At 11:30, I got a message asking to send details. (I already did that at 10:49) but I sent it all again even though we had waited 45 min. Then at almost 12, they asked for the address I gave them already to be sent on Google Maps. Then at 12:30, they asked when we wanted to be picked up. We had already been waiting 2 house now. I replied that we wanted to be picked up at 10:45 when I first messaged them. I didn't receive a response till 1:20, an hour after my last reply and was told that there was going to be an additional $25 charge because now we were going to miss our flight and had to be brought to a hotel. He said this was explained to me. It wasn't and I have the entire conversation recorded on Whatsapp app. The contract also stated our fee was for airport or hotel. I told them to call me because we were getting nowhere texting. They didn't, I had to borrow a phone to call. The rude man with your company tried to say we we're going to be charged, at this point I could care less where we got dropped off, I just wanted them to come get us as which I had paid for it already. Finally at 2:15 the drive showed up 2 blocks away. Not even where I said we were. We got back to Cancún, once again without any beer or water which we paid extra for.
So my review isn't a positive one. I'm beyond dissapeared with Etransfers.

The guys were great

The guys were great. They showed up early and were friendly and spoke good English and even worked with me on my Spanish. I've used ETransfers multiple times to get to Tulum and Play Del Carmen and they always come through very well.

I've used several transfer services as…

I've used several transfer services as I have a home in Playa Del Carmen. I was pretty happy with another service but found the etransfer was far better as their communication and follow up was simply outstanding. Texted updates all the time. Never in doubt about pickup, timing or anything else. Highly recommend.
