Very good

Leo was awesome

Leo was awesome. Helped me in navigating around a potential crisis for our families euro trip from Australia.

Used First Luggage for train return Germany to UK

We used First Luggage to have less bags to carry on our return train journey from Germany to UK. Anything relating to the actual pick-up and delivery of our luggage was excellent and could not be bettered: clear confirmation of dates, very speedy transit etc. - thank you.
Some gaps in useful info regarding the following, hence only 4 stars: (1) the request to provide a detailed list of items during booking process was unexpected, and not clear whether doing this a day or two later (once we had decided what we would be sending) would hold up the booking itself (turned out, it did not, but this was not clear); (2) with quite tight UK import limits now in force, ability to clearly indicate that luggage contains items from several people would be useful; (3) advice on what to do re locks on suitcases would be useful (for access by customs) - nervous about leaving number lock unblocked, as it prevents accidental opening in our Samsonite, and also because someone could attempt to smuggle things into country using our luggage => would be great if code could be provided to customs in paper work.
Phoned the customer helpline, which was promptly answered, but advisor not able to give clear information on points 2) and 3) above.
So loss of 1 star only relating to lack of some info that appeared crucial to us, not the actual luggage transfer.

Full marks for ease and speed

For ease and speed of delivery, and cost, very good. Only issue was the date of delivery. We booked a pick-up day based around the indicated delivery day, ie we delayed the former to be sure to be around for the latter. Once the item was picked up we were given an earlier expected delivery date, for the day we would not be around. I'm sure that date could be changed (and in the event the item was delivered earlier than indicated, so we were in) but the problem is not always picked up.
